00:00 And this year the charities are for Muscular Dystrophy and Heart Kids Tasmania.
00:09 And this year we'll be riding in the area around Great Lakes through the Cradle Mountain
00:12 about 500 kilometres over the three days.
00:15 We could always do more training but if you're a bit tired there's always a sad wagon you
00:19 can jump in to get a free lift.
00:21 But the aim of the ride is to pedal every kilometre because it's important for charity.
00:25 That's what we're doing it for, for these various organisations to support people in
00:29 need.
00:30 We're hoping to raise somewhere around $100,000.
00:32 I'm not sure what the target is at the moment but as I said before over the 15 years of
00:38 the ride we've raised over $800,000 which has gone to various charities and community
00:44 organisations across the state.
00:46 Each year there's a bit of a committee to get together and we decide what charities
00:49 haven't we supported in the past or which ones do we think need a hand again.
00:53 So we select them off a bit of a ground table and we think who needs the help from the organisation.
