00:00 >> All right, so for the sixth straight year, you guys have been your in-state
00:02 rival.
00:03 Just how does it feel to be able to win the Governor's Cup and
00:05 to be able to have the bragging rights for the rest of the year?
00:08 >> It feels good, obviously, to come in here, get a win, and
00:12 finish off the regular season.
00:14 Super proud of the guys.
00:15 Obviously, it didn't look exactly the way we wanted it to today, but
00:18 to come out of here with a win, it's- >> You didn't have Brock Bowers,
00:21 you didn't have Ladd out there, Rah-Rah.
00:22 Yet, you still had multiple guys being able to make big plays,
00:25 especially Kendall Milton.
00:26 What can you say just about the performance and
00:28 the talent put in depth on this team?
00:30 >> Yeah, I mean, I've said it all year.
00:31 We have so many guys that can step up and make plays whenever guys are out.
00:35 And that's the standard here.
00:37 Next guy mentality, whoever's gonna come in is gonna make the plays to help us win.
00:42 >> What was Coach's message to you guys tonight?
00:43 You look pretty stoked after the game, taking pictures with families,
00:46 acknowledging the crowd.
00:47 What can you say?
00:48 What did he say?
00:49 >> I mean, we knew that we were gonna have to come in and be physical.
00:51 Obviously, it's a line of scrimmage game when it's a rivalry game.
00:55 You're gonna be hard-nosed, try to run the ball.
00:56 And I think we did a great job of that on offense.
00:59 >> Career night for Kendall Milton, 156 yards on the ground.
01:02 What can you say about his performance?
01:03 >> Yeah, I mean, the past couple weeks, I mean, him being fully healthy,
01:07 it's been a lot of fun to watch.
01:08 And it makes my job a lot easier, too.
01:10 Gotta credit that O-line, too, getting a person there.
01:13 But there's so many times where he's making one, two, three guys miss, and
01:16 then taking it 30, 40 yards.
01:18 So it credits to him, makes my life a lot more interesting.
01:22 >> Awesome.
