00:02 We are in the forestry education center of the Tree House,
00:06 which is located in the Milicz forestry district.
00:08 It is the headquarters of the forestry promotional complex of the Baryczy Valley Forest.
00:12 Our building is most often called the Tree House,
00:16 and that's how we call it.
00:19 It is an old pine tree nursery,
00:22 which has not worked for many years,
00:25 and in 2015 it was renovated,
00:28 modernized and put into use for educational purposes.
00:33 What is done here?
00:35 Every day in our building, classes are held in forestry education.
00:39 Every day, I mean from Monday to Friday,
00:42 groups come to us organized.
00:44 These are school groups, seniors, students, high school students,
00:49 students of engineering.
00:51 We cooperate very closely with the forestry engineering in Milicz,
00:55 their classes are also held in our Tree House.
01:00 We have a group every day,
01:02 and it is a group of 50 people,
01:05 in connection with the fire prevention regulations of the building
01:10 and with the requirements when it comes to the number of people in the building.
01:14 It is a historic building,
01:16 restored in accordance with all the requirements of the heritage conservatory,
01:21 and that's why there is also a limit when it comes to the number of people.
01:24 Staying in the Tree House is about
01:26 first of all you make an appointment,
01:28 call and set a date for a visit.
01:30 The group comes to us and we offer something like
01:33 that there is a lecture room first,
01:36 a lecture on a given topic, which the teacher chooses.
01:39 Our topics are adapted to the teaching program in a school in Poland,
01:46 and then there is a lecture,
01:48 then there are workshops that take place on the floor of our building.
01:53 The first moment when we visit the building is
01:55 because it is a historic building.
01:58 We have elements here that are very interesting for visitors
02:02 and we tell them what used to be here,
02:05 what it all was about,
02:07 what it was about to lay the seeds.
02:09 And during the visit, we usually move the topic from seed to tree,
02:15 because I think it is a perfect place to discuss this topic.
02:20 Especially if the weather allows us,
02:22 even if it is a bit rainy,
02:24 we invite our groups to go out into the field.
02:26 We are very close to the forest here.
02:29 As foresters, we are wholeheartedly with the forest,
02:32 so we always try to get the group to the forest.
02:35 As for the free time in our center,
02:39 we don't have any place until the end of the year.
02:42 Actually, this is our last place for spring meetings.
02:47 We conduct our classes for free.
02:50 As the State Forestry Education, we have free education.
02:53 So in such a situation, if groups come to us,
02:57 it is only the cost of a bus.
03:00 What else can I say?
03:02 We have a lot of groups, not only from Milicz and the surrounding area,
03:06 but above all from Wrocław, Kalisz.
03:09 Sometimes groups come to us,
03:11 they take a bus for two hours and take part in our classes.
