00:02 - Welcome to our Kinda Kinda Kitchens event.
00:04 We at the Cumberland are absolutely delighted tonight
00:07 to be at this celebration and to be hosting it.
00:10 All of this tonight is a celebration
00:15 of making a difference and feeding people
00:18 because it's a basic human need
00:20 and it's the kinda thing to do.
00:22 - There's so many people here
00:25 from so many amazing organizations.
00:28 There's a real buzz and it's just so exciting
00:31 to get to speak to people who are making
00:33 such a difference in their communities.
00:35 I want them to feel like they're being celebrated.
00:38 I think it can be a thankless task
00:40 to be doing this important work
00:43 and I think tonight it's so important
00:44 that they feel like we're so happy that they're doing it
00:48 and that they get the thanks that they deserve.
00:51 - Tonight has been a wonderful celebration
00:56 and a brilliant acknowledgement
00:57 of what essentially is a series of small acts of kindness
01:02 that collectively makes a massive difference
01:05 and has a huge impact on our communities.
01:07 - It's such a big issue, food poverty,
01:12 especially around Carlisle in the area we are.
01:15 So it's just nice to be recognized
01:17 for the work that is being done
01:19 and what else still needs done.
01:20 - It's just wonderful.
01:21 It's nice to know that all our hard work is appreciated.
01:26 - It's one of those nights that I think everybody will leave
01:28 feeling hopefully a bit buoyed and energized
01:31 but definitely very humbled and inspired.
