00:00 I say, "Break step back 10, keep your hands up at all times."
00:02 Good luck. Any questions?
00:03 Questions, touch your mouth. Good luck.
00:06 - Khamenei, then in the evening, scheduled for 10 rounds.
00:12 Muhammad Mamoon and Steven Galliano.
00:16 - Let's get it!
00:18 [bell dings] - Here we go!
00:27 It's time to fight.
00:30 Mamoon, the southpaw in the black and gold trunks.
00:34 Galliano in the gray and black trunks.
00:38 Last fight for Mamoon was at our world headquarters,
00:45 March of last year against Cesar Francis.
00:48 He suffered a broken jaw in the very first round,
00:52 still with the distance.
00:54 Francis did win by unanimous decision
00:57 in that 10-round fight.
01:00 - I like Galliano's belt line.
01:01 Usually you have your nickname or your first name.
01:03 He's got a picture of himself.
01:04 [laughter]
01:05 That's belt line.
01:08 - So they're taking pictures, now he's bringing pictures, Chris.
01:10 - Yeah, like a drawing.
01:11 - In case you were wondering whose trunks they were.
01:13 - Yeah.
01:15 Make sure nobody ever borrows them.
01:18 - I guess if somebody did try to, like,
01:20 take your trunks and sneak away with them,
01:22 they'd look kind of silly in them,
01:24 unless they're a huge fan of Steven Galliano.
01:26 - I had a sparring partner, Mike "Lefty" Brooks,
01:28 and he would wear one of my team shirts
01:31 that had my face on it.
01:33 So he'd always say, like,
01:34 "Now you gotta punch yourself in the face."
01:36 [laughter]
01:37 - Mind games. - Yeah.
01:39 - Did you? - Yes.
01:40 Yes, I quite a bit. Quite a bit.
01:42 - That was rhetorical, by the way.
01:43 I knew you'd get it, Chris.
01:44 [laughter]
01:47 - Galliano, this is the first time
01:49 he has been scheduled for 10 rounds.
01:51 In fact, he has never even been scheduled
01:53 for an eight-round fight.
01:56 Conversely, Mamoun,
01:58 last time he was scheduled for less than 10
02:02 was in November of 2015.
02:06 - Yeah, this is a big step up for Galliano.
02:08 Mamoun has a ton of experience.
02:11 - But Galliano told us in the fighter meetings yesterday,
02:15 Pauly said he knows tonight is his chance
02:18 to skip some levels.
02:20 He's excited to prove himself.
02:22 He said, "After this victory,
02:24 I will move to bigger fights.
02:26 Any questions surrounding me will be answered tonight."
02:30 He's fallen under the radar,
02:32 but he knows to get those big fights,
02:34 you need to defeat a great fighter like Muhammad Mamoun.
02:38 - Yeah, yeah, and Mamoun's been in there with everybody.
02:40 He has some solid wins on his record,
02:41 even some close decision losses.
02:43 I mean, he's a tough out for anybody.
02:45 So as a prospect, almost like a gatekeeper
02:48 where he's on the edge as well.
02:50 So if Galliano can beat him,
02:51 Galliano has the undefeated record.
02:53 If he can beat a guy like Mamoun,
02:54 it'll legitimize the undefeated record.
02:57 - I mean, let's just think back to Cesar Francis
03:00 from Brooklyn.
03:02 When he had that victory earned against Muhammad Mamoun,
03:05 it elevated his status, Pauly.
03:07 - Yeah, exactly.
03:09 - That was a big step up for Francis,
03:11 and that launched him into get some big fights after that.
03:15 - Round one scheduled for 10.
03:19 - Speaking of which, Cesar Francis fights this Friday night.
03:21 - There you go. - In Las Vegas.
03:23 [bell dings]
03:26 [bell rings]
03:27 - Hey!
03:28 [crowd shouting]
03:30 - Bit of a feel-out round between the two guys.
03:32 [crowd shouting]
03:35 [bell dings]
03:38 [crowd shouting]
03:41 - I bet.
03:43 He's in.
03:44 - Wait, wait.
03:46 [crowd shouting]
03:49 [crowd shouting]
03:52 [crowd shouting]
03:55 [crowd shouting]
03:58 [crowd shouting]
04:01 - Use your feet a little bit more.
04:04 A little bit more.
04:05 [crowd shouting]
04:08 - And the corner of Steven Galliano.
04:11 [crowd shouting]
04:14 - Oh, he's breathing.
04:16 [whistle blows]
04:18 [bell dings]
04:20 - Galliano, first fight in just over a year,
04:23 one year and four days.
04:26 [bell dings]
04:28 His last fight, July 23rd of '22,
04:32 a second-round knockout victory.
04:36 This one, our co-main event of the evening
04:39 from the Kissimmee Civic Center,
04:41 the Southpaw, Muhammad Mamoon,
04:44 against the Bronx, Steven Galliano,
04:47 the son of Guatemala, mom from Puerto Rico.
04:51 - I think Mamoon's a little bit confused
04:53 by the fact that Galliano, even though he's a--
04:55 sort of an inexperienced prospect,
04:57 he's not really wasting a lot of movement,
04:59 not giving a lot of head movement.
05:01 He's kind of just standing there like a statue,
05:03 but he's reacting with some short shots
05:05 to keep Mamoon honest.
05:07 I think Mamoon now wants to get in there
05:09 and try to open him up a little bit.
05:11 - Yeah, Galliano's doing that post with the lead hand.
05:13 He keeps that left jab out in front,
05:15 and jabs actually quite well from there,
05:17 but he's not putting up lots of more pressure.
05:19 - Yeah, and I think Galliano may also be trying
05:21 to conserve energy. You know, he hasn't been 10 rounds, right?
05:23 So it's--or has he been 10 rounds?
05:25 - Well, Galliano's longest fights have been
05:29 the two times that he's gone the six-round distance,
05:32 so not even scheduled for eight
05:34 before the 10-rounder tonight, Paul.
05:36 - I'd say at this pace, he can go 20.
05:38 [laughter]
05:40 [crowd shouting]
05:43 - From what I've seen from the tape,
05:46 he's got a lot of power, though.
05:48 He's not throwing a lot of punches, but he is accurate.
05:50 He's a pretty good body puncher.
05:52 I saw some body shot knockout videos.
05:54 - Yeah, and that's why I think Mamoon is, you know,
05:56 kind of keeping honest here,
05:58 'cause he's--a lot of times, as a veteran guy,
06:01 you put pressure on a prospect,
06:03 you wait--kind of wait for them to overmove
06:05 or put themselves out of position,
06:07 and then you can make them pay for it, you know?
06:09 Mamoon is doing that, but Galliano's not putting himself
06:11 out of position. He's kind of holding position.
06:13 - And Mamoon is known to kind of be a calculator
06:16 when it comes to Galliano in fights, Chris.
06:18 - Oh, absolutely. I mean, he's only got three knockouts
06:20 in his 22 wins. He's not a puncher,
06:23 but, you know, he was able to hurt Cesar Francis
06:26 in their fight a couple times,
06:28 so he's--he doesn't have a lot of knockouts,
06:31 but he does have some power.
06:34 - And Mamoon, last 11 fights have been scheduled
06:37 for 12 or 10. Six times scheduled for 12,
06:41 five times scheduled for 10 rounds.
06:46 And if you're jumping from six-rounders, Chris,
06:49 to a ten-rounder like Galliano,
06:52 I'm sure he put in the roadwork.
06:54 I'm sure he adjusted his conditioning regimen
06:58 accordingly, but still, does it enter your mind
07:00 early in the fight? - Oh, absolutely.
07:02 I mean, it's never the same as being in the ring.
07:05 You know, you can do all the conditioning in the world,
07:07 but fight night's different. It's just a higher pace.
07:09 It's more explosive. Then you got to deal with the nerves.
07:12 I mean, that saps a lot of guys--
07:14 a lot of energy.
07:16 - You know it. These are what you call
07:18 calculated risks, right? - Yep.
07:20 - You weigh the risks, you weigh it against
07:22 the opportunity, risk-reward.
07:25 - And, Paul, he talked about that in the fighter meetings.
07:27 He said he feels like he hasn't gotten his fair share
07:30 as a top prospect from New York City.
07:33 He's fell under the radar a bit,
07:35 had to make his way on some small shows,
07:38 and he wants to work his way to bigger opportunities
07:42 and get his hands dirty tonight.
07:44 Here on your boxing channel, Pro Box TV.
07:46 Subscribe today. News, talk shows, live fights.
07:50 Generally during the live fights,
07:52 Chris and Paulie are very calm,
07:54 very loving to each other,
07:56 inspiring session. Sometimes that turns out
07:59 not to be the case. - Sometimes we head
08:01 by the computer screen. We definitely spit on it at times.
08:04 - Bend the rules a little bit. - Yeah, we definitely
08:06 bend the rules. - Call out the referee
08:08 for being in the bag, like Norman Stone used to do
08:11 when he rules for Roy. - I feel like the referees
08:13 and the judges have big fat pockets
08:15 because they're probably getting paid by both of us.
08:17 [laughter]
08:20 - And I've watched a lot of Paulie's post-fight interviews,
08:23 and I don't think I've ever heard you mention
08:25 refs or judges, ever. - I usually leave them out.
08:28 - Yes. [laughter]
08:31 - Round number three, Muhammad Mahmoud,
08:34 black and gold trunks, gray and black trunks
08:36 for 12-and-0, 24-year-old Stephen Galliano.
08:41 - You know, I'm watching the feet.
08:43 We've got the classic orthodox southpaw matchup.
08:46 Galliano did a good job keeping his lead foot
08:48 outside or just in front to Mahmoud.
08:51 So Mahmoud now is trying to close the distance.
08:53 He's stepping on his foot at times, but he's still
08:55 stepping between the legs. He needs to step outside.
08:57 - And one thing Mahmoud could be doing here,
08:59 it's changing his level a little bit. You know,
09:01 giving reactions where he quickly dips underneath
09:03 or something like that, see if he can break
09:05 the position of Galliano. He's waiting for the position
09:07 of Galliano to break, and it's not breaking
09:09 just on this pressure. Galliano's doing a good job
09:11 of breaking the position of Galliano.
09:13 Mahmoud is also giving the same look, and sometimes
09:15 you change that look, especially if you change
09:17 that look suddenly. See, there's a change of level,
09:19 but it wasn't really that drastic, but yet it gave--
09:21 it made Galliano take a step back.
09:23 So you want to give those different looks
09:25 to maybe get reactions from Galliano that you might want.
09:28 At the same time, Galliano, you know, he's--
09:30 take, pick, and touch him, but at a certain point,
09:32 he's gonna have to decide to win this fight or not.
09:34 He's gonna have to decide whether he wants to do that, right?
09:36 I know it was still early in the fight.
09:38 It's his first ten rounds. At a certain point,
09:40 he's gonna have to decide. I think Mahmoud isn't really
09:42 sure what to make of Galliano yet.
09:44 I don't think he's really felt the power yet.
09:46 He's wondering, "How hard does this kid hit?"
09:48 He does have nine KOs in 12 fights.
09:51 And he has been in training camp with one of the best of all time.
09:56 He's done a four-week and an eight-week camp
09:59 with Vasily Lomachenko, helped Loma prepare
10:03 for Nakatani and for the Jermaine Ortiz fight.
10:07 And Galliano told us he was invited to be part
10:10 of the Devon-Haney camp, but was unable to do so.
10:14 And, Chris, when you get the experience
10:16 to be around a guy like that,
10:18 you just--you should become a sponge
10:21 or you're wasting your own time there.
10:23 Oh, actually, he was-- had the opportunity to be in the camp
10:26 with Lomachenko for the Haney fight,
10:28 not with the Haney camp. Correct, correct.
10:30 But was unable to do it 'cause he had another commitment.
10:33 Correct, correct. But, yeah, no, I mean, that's amazing.
10:35 You have to soak up all that knowledge.
10:38 And being in the ring with a guy like Lomachenko,
10:40 you're gonna learn something.
10:42 You're gonna learn things that are really hard to teach.
10:44 Nice left hand there by-- by Mamoun.
10:47 And right on cue, Mamoun said, "Loma who?"
10:51 And that's the thing, Mamoun ended up throwing that left hand
10:54 at the same time as Galliano was throwing it,
10:56 so that opened up Galliano a little bit,
10:58 and he was able to throw the shortest shot.
11:00 'Cause you would think with all the work he's gotten with Sal Paz,
11:02 Galliano would have some-- with the Lomachenko work,
11:05 Galliano would have some confidence against Mamoun
11:08 and see how he opens things up.
11:11 Finished his last three fights, they were all at welterweight.
11:15 Tonight's fight against Mamoun contracted at 142 pounds.
11:20 Yeah, both these guys very tall and long for super lightweight.
11:24 Mamoun is also for the welterweight, though, right?
11:29 Yep.
11:31 [crowd cheering]
11:34 See that combination last round?
11:44 That was actually, I think, when he was trying to follow up
11:46 after he had landed the left hand.
11:48 That was right after. That was his left hand right there.
11:50 And that one put Galliano in a position
11:53 where he got very defensive, and then Mamoun tried to follow it up.
11:58 And you saw also from that replay, Mamoun,
12:00 he's a heavy puncher. That's probably why he has so few knockouts.
12:03 He was doubling up that right hook, but they were just slaps.
12:06 Yeah, a lot of times he doesn't get the knuckle.
12:08 Yeah, he doesn't use his body weight.
12:10 Back in 2010, Paulie Mamoun made his professional debut at 154.
12:16 His first professional belt was the French Boxing Federation title
12:22 at welterweight. Four months later, he won the European Union
12:26 welterweight title in Paris and defended it twice.
12:30 So, yeah, he has been at 147 on multiple occasions.
12:34 Round number four coming event, scheduled for ten.
12:38 Again, I keep referencing the feet.
12:42 You're seeing Mamoun putting a lot more pressure with his legs,
12:45 getting into position, getting closer.
12:48 With my powerful partners, the Magic Man, the two-time world champion,
12:52 Paulie Malignaggi, former world champion Chris Algieri,
12:55 Mike Goldberg, great to be with you.
12:57 Wednesday night fights here on your boxing channel.
13:00 Steve.
13:01 Couple moments ago, Mamoun landed a nice, chopping right hook
13:05 around the glove of Galliano, and then followed up with a left hand
13:08 down the middle.
13:10 So here's where Galliano has to get some respect from Mamoun here.
13:13 And he's not getting it. And Mamoun is trying to mentally pressure him.
13:16 A lot of shots not getting through. Galliano holds the gloves up very well.
13:19 Some shots do get through, but not a lot.
13:21 So he's not-- Galliano's not getting beat up,
13:23 but what he needs to do here, he's giving up control of the ring.
13:26 He's getting no control of the fight this way.
13:29 And that's a big problem, because Mamoun is coming forward
13:30 without any kind of respect.
13:32 Yeah, champ, it's hard to win rounds when you've got your back against the ropes,
13:41 and you're just covered up, not throwing a lot,
13:43 and your opponent is coming forward,
13:45 and maybe those shots aren't landing, but he's throwing.
13:48 - Yeah. - Like that.
13:50 And you know what ends up taking control sometimes?
13:52 It's counterpunch. Right now, they're doing your turn, my turn, constantly.
13:55 Low shot.
13:58 And you could hear the cup get hit.
13:59 That would have been under the picture of himself
14:04 if it were thrown by Mamoun.
14:06 Crowd reacts, though. Mamoun's starting to pick up the pace.
14:10 You see, there's no shots in between thrown by Galliano.
14:13 When Mamoun is throwing, Galliano's in full defensive mode.
14:16 He doesn't punch until everything's done, and then he'll start punching.
14:19 If you want to get to that next level, you're gonna have to be punching
14:22 in between your opponent, but counterpunching him.
14:24 Because if you do what I call your turn, my turn,
14:27 fighters don't get to elite level.
14:29 They get to a certain level. If they do it well,
14:31 they'll never get to elite level. You've got to be able to punch
14:33 with your opponent and even in between your opponent
14:35 when you get to the next level, and that takes confidence and timing.
14:38 And because of that, Mamoun's getting braver.
14:40 He's coming forward, he's letting his hands go.
14:42 He doesn't mind staying in the pocket, 'cause he knows nothing's coming back.
14:45 - Get him back! Get him back! - Yeah.
14:47 Galliano talked about what a huge opportunity this fight
14:51 against a former champion, former world champion,
14:54 and we'll see if Mamoun wants tonight
14:57 if he's really gonna escalate his ride
15:00 towards potential superstardom.
15:03 He's got to knock down, knock out,
15:06 or win a big decision against a fighter of this caliber.
15:08 Yeah, and that's the thing. He's only punching when he can start.
15:11 Whenever Mamoun starts, nothing comes back from Galliano until he can reset.
15:15 He's also allowing Mamoun to walk right in the front door
15:17 without throwing a jab or keeping anything on him.
15:19 In the last couple rounds, first couple rounds,
15:21 he was keeping that left hand posted out. Now he's not even doing that.
15:24 He's controlling the ring. You know, you don't have to have a lot of knockouts,
15:27 but if you learn to control the ring, Mamoun doesn't have a lot of knockouts,
15:30 but he understands what controlling the ring means.
15:33 Galliano did try a counter-uppercut there. He missed it.
15:35 Let's see if he takes some of that countering opportunity into the next round.
15:39 See some bad action, you see.
15:49 Galliano throwing, and then Mamoun, I don't know--
15:52 nothing landed there as Mamoun's hook kind of went over the top.
15:57 Maybe it was a behind-the-head shot.
16:00 It looked like two clapping punches.
16:03 Mamoun, like you said, doesn't turn the glove over to get those scoring knuckles.
16:07 More slapping shots.
16:09 So, I mean, he's throwing it out there. Now we're in round five,
16:15 so Galliano's in a six-round fight.
16:18 So let's see if--
16:20 you don't want to give away rounds, obviously,
16:22 but let's see now if he's able to start to pick up the pace
16:26 or feels mentally more prepared to do so
16:29 because the pace has not been a quickened one
16:32 from Steven Galliano so far in this fight.
16:36 Well, that's the thing, though.
16:38 You know, when you take your biggest step of your career,
16:40 there's certain things you've always got to remind yourself of.
16:42 You know, that you may get hit more tonight,
16:44 you may get a little feistier than they normally have in your career
16:47 up to that point, that you're ready to get to that level.
16:50 You're ready to fight back when it does.
16:52 You're ready to try to win at this level and not just show up.
16:55 And Galliano's gonna have to now make that decision at a certain point here
16:58 because we're getting to the halfway point of the fight soon.
17:01 I think Galliano might have got the lip service in the corner
17:04 because he's coming out this round--
17:06 Yeah, holding his ground.
17:07 --asserting himself.
17:08 He's holding his ground a little bit. You can see it right there.
17:11 And he's trying to punch in between Mamoun again.
17:18 He was doing a good job last round of cutting off the ring.
17:21 Whenever Galliano moved to his right, he threw the left hand.
17:23 When he was moving to his left, he threw the right hooks.
17:25 But now Galliano's standing his ground and punching with him.
17:28 Still allowing Mamoun to walk right in, though.
17:32 Galliano just trying to fire that right hand through the middle of the guard of Mamoun.
17:38 No success yet.
17:40 And that's the combination, and that's the thing,
17:42 because Mamoun doesn't give you different looks.
17:43 Mamoun kind of gives you the same look, too.
17:45 So you do have the option to throw some shots,
17:47 but it's hard to hone in on the target and pick your shots, you know?
17:50 Oh, got to be careful there, Galliano, with shots on top of the head.
17:53 That'll hurt your hand.
17:54 I was gritting my teeth on both of those.
17:57 Yeah.
17:58 New ground, Stephen, new ground.
18:00 Keep that work.
18:01 Best round of the fight so far for Galliano, because he's letting his hands go.
18:06 And holding his ground.
18:08 Because it's a six-round fight now.
18:10 Helping out, Chris.
18:13 Yeah, Goldy, that's a great point.
18:15 I don't understand what you mean, though.
18:16 I mean, he's got a six-round fight.
18:18 Now there's six rounds left in the fight.
18:20 Oh, there's six rounds left.
18:21 Correct.
18:22 Okay.
18:23 So maybe mentally, if he was worried about it earlier,
18:25 now he's like, "All right, I've done this before."
18:28 And that's fair.
18:30 You're the one with nine different collegiate degrees.
18:32 I shouldn't have to explain it.
18:33 None of them are math.
18:34 You're the numbers guy.
18:36 That is true.
18:37 That is true.
18:38 Nice combination there from Galliano.
18:42 Mamoun still trying to mentally break him by walking him down.
18:47 So this would be when, Paulie, I tell you guys that
18:51 it has been 2,821 days since Mohammed Mamoun
18:57 has been scheduled for a fight less than 10 rounds.
19:00 See, I don't think the pace is going to bother Mamoun tonight.
19:05 But this is the pace he likes, Chris.
19:07 Yeah, I mean, he's putting more pressure.
19:09 Definitely a lot of physical pressure.
19:10 He hasn't punched much this round,
19:12 because Galliano's actually been firing.
19:15 You got to keep him up, kid.
19:16 Don't give up.
19:17 Do it again. Do it again.
19:18 Go.
19:19 But Galliano's--
19:20 Oh!
19:21 Down.
19:22 Two, three, four.
19:25 You take the risk when you punch with your opponent.
19:27 Galliano had the right idea with the uppercut to the body.
19:30 But he didn't keep his left hand up.
19:33 And the right hook from the southpaw got him.
19:35 He's very hurt. Shot he didn't see.
19:37 Step this way. Step this way.
19:39 I was going to say this earlier.
19:41 Similar to the Cesar Francis fight,
19:43 where he had him hurt, too.
19:45 If you're a big puncher,
19:46 and you're fighting someone who's not a counter,
19:48 you can actually use their own power to hurt them.
19:51 And that's exactly what happened there.
19:53 Good shot.
19:54 Just make sure after the guard,
19:55 put that hand up there.
19:57 Galliano was having his best round of the fight.
19:59 I was just going to say the same thing, Paulie.
20:01 Everything just went away on the scorecard there.
20:03 And you're going to see right there,
20:04 you see a little left hand.
20:05 It gets just a little low
20:06 as he goes to the body shot for the body shot.
20:08 He had the right idea.
20:09 That body shot was there.
20:10 He was going to get a good timing shot there by Mamoun.
20:14 But the mistake by Galliano
20:15 is he didn't move his head at all.
20:16 He dropped his right hand to throw a looping shot.
20:19 He dropped his left hand, too.
20:21 That's the problem on that side.
20:22 Yeah, he dropped both hands.
20:23 And kept his chin right on the line.
20:27 That's the thing you got to do there.
20:28 If you're going to throw that shot,
20:29 especially if you're going to stay up high,
20:31 because Galliano stayed up high while throwing that shot,
20:33 which is a sneaky shot.
20:34 But you got to keep that left--
20:35 You're in tight. You're in close quarters.
20:37 It's why I never like to fight on the inside a lot,
20:39 because I knew my fundamentals to fight on the inside.
20:41 And I knew my fundamentals weren't great.
20:43 I used to rely on athleticism.
20:45 But if you're going to make those kind of decisions,
20:47 you got to have good fundamentals.
20:48 And that high guard has to stay when you move
20:50 in that other hand on the inside.
20:52 And Galliano dropped it just a little bit,
20:53 and Mamoun took advantage.
20:54 Let's see if Galliano's had enough time
20:56 to recover in between rounds.
20:57 He's put himself right on the ropes.
20:59 Not a good sign.
21:00 Round number six of our co-main event.
21:04 And Mamoun, 22 wins, just three finishes.
21:10 And his professional career dating back to 2010.
21:15 And now the fear is, will Galliano go back
21:17 to your turn, my turn?
21:18 Because if he goes back to your turn, my turn,
21:19 we're back in what we was doing in the first four rounds,
21:21 and he's not going to win.
21:23 Well, right now it seems like it is--
21:25 Chris, call that knockdown.
21:26 --Mamoun's turn.
21:28 5, 6, 7, 8.
21:31 It's crunch time for Galliano now.
21:33 He's making some decisions here.
21:34 9.
21:36 He's getting up.
21:37 He's making the decision, but now is he going to make
21:39 the decision to try to win this fight here?
21:40 Because he's going to have to fight now.
21:42 Well, and the only way to do it, he's down a third time.
21:46 I don't think he ever recovered from that first knockdown.
21:49 5, 6, 7, 8.
21:53 He just knelt.
21:54 I'm sorry, bro.
21:55 And looked over to his brother.
21:56 Talking to his corner, yeah.
21:57 [bell dings]
21:58 [crowd shouting]
22:01 Yeah, I think--
22:02 He's overcome.
22:03 It is all over!
22:05 Mohammad Mamoun earns the fourth finish
22:13 of his professional career and the 23rd victory
22:20 for the problem.
22:21 And once he had sent his opponent to the canvas
22:28 in the last round, he did it in frequent occasions
22:32 here in this round.
22:33 Yeah, we're not going to-- we're going to see from the replays.
22:35 There was nothing really clean that landed.
22:37 It's just-- he-- Galliano was broken down.
22:39 Yeah.
22:40 And the pressure and--
22:41 But, Jim, you made a good point.
22:42 I don't know if he recovered from that right hook
22:43 the previous round before.
22:44 That first right hook that he didn't see.
22:45 And even if he recovered physically, where he was able
22:48 to continue, I don't know if psychologically he recovered,
22:50 where he didn't want to get hit like that again.
22:52 It was because nothing that landed in this particular round
22:54 was enough to devastate him and get him out of the fight.
22:56 But I don't-- I think he had-- it was mentally broken.
22:59 Yeah.
23:00 And that knockdown did it, because he was--
23:02 like you said, he was having the best round of the fight.
23:04 And then in the moment where he's having the best round
23:06 of the fight, he suffers the worst moment of the fight.
23:08 So it was like his moment where he just mentally said,
23:10 "I can't do this," you know?
23:11 And he-- unfortunately, if you convince yourself
23:13 you can't do it, you're not going to be able to do it,
23:15 and you're going to end up finding the first exit
23:17 out of the fight.
23:18 Yeah, exactly.
23:19 Took the wind right out of his sails, and he just never--
23:21 he didn't recover.
23:22 Very psychological, this game.
23:23 Yeah.
23:24 And even the look on the face of Galliano,
23:27 not just after the first knockdown,
23:29 but the continuous ones, it was like, man,
23:32 let him get a shot in on me, and now I'm in big trouble.
23:35 And he was upset with himself.
23:37 Yeah, I mean, we're seeing here from the replays,
23:39 Moon was putting a lot of physical pressure.
23:41 Took him a while to get to Galliano,
23:43 but Galliano wasn't doing a whole lot.
23:45 Then he started to come back.
23:46 He started to actually let his hands go,
23:48 and that's when Moon was actually able to land
23:50 cleaner punches.
23:51 And once he dropped them, like we said,
23:53 it seemed like it just took it all out of him.
24:00 Oh, wow.
24:01 Again, he's soft.
24:02 Just-- he drive-- wasn't-- see, he just
24:04 drops it just a little bit.
24:05 Drops that left hand as he's going from the right hand
24:07 to the body.
24:08 He drops that left hand just a little bit,
24:09 and it was the moment Moon is throwing the hook.
24:13 That is a great check hook, though.
24:14 And yeah, that right hook, man, it comes from an angle
24:16 that you can't see.
24:17 It's a very dangerous punch from the southpaw position.
24:19 Yeah, I mean, he turned into it.
24:20 I mean, he-- you could see Moon turn his body that way,
24:24 and that opened up his own body for Galliano
24:26 to see the opening to the body.
24:28 And unfortunately, Galliano's looking at body,
24:30 because Moon turned that way.
24:31 But Moon had turned that way because he
24:32 wanted to throw his right hook.
24:33 And unfortunately, Galliano, his left hand
24:35 dropped when he went to throw that right hook to the body.
24:37 So Galliano defeated for the first time
24:41 in his professional career.
24:43 Moon with his fourth finish.
24:45 And to make it all official once again, Mark Lichtenfeld.
24:48 Ladies and gentlemen, referee Frank Gentile stops this contest
24:55 at 1 minute, 21 seconds of the sixth round.
24:58 Your winner by technical knockout,
