Following the announcement that the 26th annual MOBO awards will be hosted at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, Coun Minesh Parekh (Labour lead for Economic Development and Skills Policy) welcomed the 'fantastic' news.

He said Sheffield has a rich musical heritage and he was "incredibly proud" that the Steel City had been chosen as the hosts in 2024.
