Ben Bolch discusses how UCLA could lose to ASU then beat USC
Transcript
00:00 I think we're going to see a team a lot closer to the team that throttled USC than the one
00:07 that went completely splat against Arizona State.
00:10 And I think two reasons.
00:11 I think, you know, having Ethan Garbers as the starting quarterback, I think it's obvious
00:15 he's going to be the guy for the rest of the season.
00:18 That stabilizes things on offense.
00:20 You know, Dante Moore, for all his talent and upside, had a pick six in three consecutive
00:25 games.
00:26 So, you know, you take that off the board, that eliminates a lot of issues.
00:29 And then the other thing is, I think Coach Kelly, you know, rightfully so in that USC
00:34 game, realized his number one weapon is and should be and will continue to be the run
00:39 game.
00:40 TJ Harden had three high 142 yards in that game.
00:43 He's really a monster running the ball.
00:45 I believe he had a big game against Cal last year up there.
00:49 So I think we'll see a lot more of that.
00:52 And I think that, you know, coming off that SC win and knowing they can probably improve
00:56 their ball position a little bit and having the victory bell there at the game, I think
01:00 there's going to be some juice for, you know, one of those Pac-12 after dark games where
01:05 things can get a little bit crazy.
01:06 But I think, you know, UCLA clearly has some momentum now and I expect them to not come
01:11 out.
01:12 They may lose the game, but they're not going to come out with the kind of performance we
01:15 saw against Arizona State.
