00:10 Greetings family, Marcel Valdés here.
00:12 The list of political prisoners continues to increase.
00:15 Last October, in the beginning, in the municipality of Wines, Mayabeque province,
00:20 nine Cubans were sentenced for demonstrating peacefully.
00:25 During the months of September, October and November of last year, 2022,
00:32 a series of protests took place throughout the country,
00:36 where the trigger was the energy crisis that existed and continues to exist.
00:41 But the cry for freedom was the protagonist of those protests,
00:44 because Cubans already know and understand that what Cuba needs is freedom,
00:49 and the problem is freedom of right, and that there is a system called communism,
00:54 which is the one that has been destroying Cuba for 64 years.
00:58 This November, at the beginning of November of this year,
01:02 they dictated the sentence, they received the firm sentence,
01:05 nine peaceful demonstrators of these protests,
01:10 where all those protests are in videos, they went viral on social networks,
01:16 peaceful protests, and there are also many videos of all the repression
01:21 that the communist regime exerted against the demonstrators.
01:25 The sentences range from three years to seven years of deprivation of freedom.
01:30 There are women and men in that trial.
01:35 We have the photo of seven, of nine of those demonstrators.
01:40 We were also able to find two photos of the criminals who lent themselves to this circus,
01:46 because this is no more than a circus, this is not a trial.
01:48 In Cuba there is no law, in Cuba there is nothing,
01:51 they simply set up this circus to pretend that there is justice,
01:54 to pass these demonstrators as common prisoners,
02:01 when it is not, because it is a purely political issue,
02:03 because they went out to scream for freedom.
02:05 So we have the photo of the prosecutor and we have the photo of a judge.
02:08 We are looking for the photo of the other two judges,
02:11 so we have the names of those criminals too.
02:15 So that's what there is, we have to be aware that the list of political prisoners continues to increase.
02:22 There are many political prisoners who are not known,
02:26 many political prisoners whose relatives do not report them,
02:29 as if they were judged on political issues.
02:32 And if this trial was made in the demonstrators of Guinness,
02:37 in the other municipalities that also demonstrated,
02:39 there must also be many trials of this type.
02:42 So we have to be aware of all the relatives that have someone political prisoner.
02:48 Please contact any activist, media, etc.
02:53 We need to give visibility and show the world
02:57 that in Cuba there is a communist dictatorship that tramples on the human rights of Cubans.
