On Nov. 17, Altman was ousted as CEO of OpenAI

On Nov. 20, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said Altman
and OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman would be
joining his company to head an AI research division.
Former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear was
slated to act as interim CEO of OpenAI.
But upon news of Altman's ousting,
nearly all of OpenAI's staff threatened
to leave the company, CNN reports.
On Nov. 21, OpenAI said that it will
be reinstating Altman as CEO.
Altman also issued a statement on X.
Microsoft is currently OpenAI's
largest financial backer
