Scott surprised by McIlroy PGA board resignation

Rory McIlroy stepped down from the PGA Tour's policy board, and was replaced by Jordan Spieth.

00:00 I guess somewhat surprised. I heard that he was ready to step down earlier in the year,
00:07 but he stayed and saw the year out. But obviously, like his statement, I haven't talked to him
00:13 about it since then, but like his statement said, he feels like he's got other priorities
00:18 and he's giving a lot of time everywhere and he couldn't give the time to this anymore.
00:24 So in one way, that's being responsible rather than holding a board seat and not being engaged.

00:44 go through or not. As everyone knows, there's four or five other interested parties in investing
00:53 in the PGA Tour, like PIF. So management have a lot of work to do to get some final deals
