00:00 424 yards rush, that's a pretty good day at the office, huh?
00:03 What did you guys do that was so successful?
00:06 It was a great day.
00:07 We knew they'd try to move a lot,
00:09 especially like Oklahoma did to us previously.
00:12 So, we took that into account and kind of just,
00:16 with everything like that going on,
00:17 we just knew that we had to work hard
00:19 and they had a good defensive line group.
00:21 That was for sure.
00:22 They were strong and we knew it would be their best up front
00:25 versus our best and we knew we'd win.
00:28 Jaheim White gets 204, I think 204.
00:32 What about him makes him what he is?
00:36 He's just an electric player.
00:38 His personality is the same way.
00:40 He's electric.
00:41 He is always bursting with energy.
00:43 He's never down.
00:44 Even if he is down, that always just turns right back around
00:48 and he's always working hard and especially lately,
00:51 as you guys can tell, he's done really well.
00:54 Did you see this coming?
00:55 Yeah, you could just tell.
00:57 Everybody has a work ethic and his was top notch
01:01 and as of late, like I've said, he's done really well.
01:04 One other thing on him, we talked to him,
01:06 I think, a couple weeks ago.
01:08 He seems like he's a very, very self-confident guy.
01:12 Does that come across?
01:14 Do you notice that when you're around him?
01:15 Yeah, he's very confident.
01:17 He knows what he's doing and even if he doesn't,
01:19 that's the good part.
01:20 He asks those questions if he does need help,
01:22 if what he needs to do, especially for offensive line,
01:25 like we have to be able to communicate with him.
01:27 So, him being confident is a great testament to him
01:31 and helps us as well.
01:35 Nick, you'll have a perspective on this, being a backup,
01:40 but for Jaquay, it seems like he ends up playing every game.
01:45 How do you guys prepare and practice to be good enough to -
01:50 I mean, you kind of knew you were starting,
01:52 but games where you have no idea
01:54 if you'll play a single snap.
01:55 How do you prepare and get ready enough to do that?
01:59 I think it all goes into,
02:00 you have to practice like you are going to play.
02:02 You can't think that you're going to be a backup.
02:04 You can't think that you're not going to play.
02:06 You're not going to get in at all.
02:08 You just always have to have the mindset
02:09 of you're going to get in.
02:11 You never know when, but that time might come.
02:13 And for Jaquay, it was this past week,
02:15 and he started the very second drive.
02:18 And from that point on,
02:19 you guys saw what happened, 424 rushing yards.
02:22 So, we didn't skip a beat.
02:25 Is it hard to learn that?
02:27 I wouldn't say it's hard to learn.
02:28 I think it's just all mindset,
02:30 and especially for like Jaquay and I,
02:31 we both are backups in that situation,
02:34 and we get thrown in and are expected
02:36 to keep the same level of intensity
02:39 as like Doug and Brandon would.
02:40 So, I think it all goes to show that we're the O-L brotherhood.
02:45 We're all together. We all care for each other,
02:47 and we all have the same mindset going into everything.
02:53 Anything else for Nick?
02:56 Okay. Thank you, Nick.
02:57 Thank you. Thank you.
