00:00 It's an honor. I feel so honored to be bringing this to the fans and to have been able to
00:09 make this movie with my friends and with an incredible filmmaker and to speak the words
00:13 of Suzanne Collins. Yeah, I think the thing about Lucy Gray is that we don't know too
00:18 much about her and I love that about her. She's so mercurial and enigmatic. She flies
00:22 through life for her own self-preservation and I think it's such an honorable thing.
00:26 She also uses her voice when she has something to say. Suzanne writes this fantasy version
00:31 of the reality that she sees around her and the thing about our world is that it's ever
00:35 changing but the core principles of humanity and what society looks like remain the same.
00:40 And I think that the fact that that lasts forever and that fans always find that resonance
00:44 with the plot, it just keeps it going on and on forever which is a beautiful thing and
00:49 we walk away with questions about ourselves and about the world around us. I mean, Tom
00:53 is one of the most amazing actors and such an intentional, intelligent actor and getting
00:58 to work with that is delicious for an actor like me because I love seeking that out in
01:02 other actors. What a lovely scene partner to have and someone who's so easy to fall
01:06 in love with. He's just a joy and it was so fun to play with those characters with him.
01:11 There is so much action and an amazing set designed by Uli Hanisch, beautiful costumes
01:17 by Trish Somerville. See it in a huge theater with speakers to hear Dave Cobbs and James
01:21 Sutton Howard's music and enjoy some good old-fashioned cinema.
