00:08 For me, performing in Blackpool is everything because it's home.
00:13 And I've already had all of my family and all of my friends,
00:17 "Can you get me tickets?"
00:18 I'm like, "Um, actually, you'll have to pay."
00:21 I'm not paying for everyone.
00:23 So, yeah, the support is going to be brilliant.
00:27 I know that. And Blackpool are always so supportive,
00:32 no matter what show comes to Blackpool.
00:34 But for me to be in it, it just feels wonderful.
00:37 It really does.
00:39 Have you performed in the Winter Gardens before?
00:42 I have many, many times.
00:44 I mean, probably the first time I was about three years old.
00:48 So, yeah, this is going to bring back some memories.
00:52 I love going back to the theatres in Blackpool, both of them.
00:55 The Winter Gardens, the Grand Theatre.
00:57 We're so lucky to have those theatres in Blackpool.
01:01 What do you hope the Blackpool audiences will get from the show?
01:04 I think they're going to love it.
01:07 I think they are going to love it.
01:09 They're going to remember the music.
01:10 They're going to be dancing.
01:11 They're going to be singing.
01:12 There'll be emotions.
01:14 You know, it's such a rollercoaster of a show.
01:18 But the belly laughs.
01:20 When I hear people laughing in the audience,
01:22 it just makes me so happy.
01:24 And then everybody always gets up at the end and cheers and dances and claps.
01:28 It's just wonderful.
01:29 Have you had any teachers who have told you that you should go for a normal job?
01:35 I had a split of teachers.
01:37 I had a few teachers that told me I'd never make it,
01:40 that it was too difficult, that I should get a normal job.
01:45 And then I had a couple of teachers who said to me, "Go for it."
01:50 "Chase your dreams. If you want to go and dance and sing and perform and act, go do it."
01:56 And you kind of remember that when you were grown up, you know, when you're an adult.
01:59 You kind of remember the ones that said, "Go for it."
02:02 And most of them have passed away now.
02:06 But, you know, before they did pass away,
02:08 they would always get in touch with my mum and say, "She made it. You know, she did it."
02:13 So, yeah, it's really lovely.
02:15 So what would you say to readers who haven't got tickets yet?
02:18 Why should they come?
02:20 Oh, my goodness.
02:21 I mean, you want two and a half hours of pure escapism.
02:25 Come and watch everybody's talking about Jamie.
02:28 The music is, you know, just sensational.
02:32 Once that drum kicks in at the start of the show, the beat, you just, you feel it in your chest.
02:37 You can't stop. You want to tap your foot.
02:40 It's just brilliant.
02:41 And the story, you know, the script, everything,
02:44 the whole cast, the ensemble members of the cast are so, so talented.
02:49 And you've got brilliant people like we've got Darren Day, we've got Shobhna Gulati,
02:53 we've got myself, Rebecca McGuinness.
02:55 You've got such a talented cast of performers.
02:58 So, yeah, come and enjoy a night with us.
