00:00 >> Evan, let's start with this.
00:01 I asked Christian the same question.
00:02 From a week ago to today, how has this offense, what's been the conversation?
00:08 Has it been a we need to fix things or is it hey, just keep chipping away at the rock?
00:13 >> I mean, it was definitely always we can be better than last week for sure.
00:18 That was something that just wasn't us.
00:21 Played a good team, but that wasn't us.
00:22 So obviously things could have been better, but we just kinda had the energy.
00:27 We just wanted to respond, a lot of the outside noise,
00:30 a lot of the stuff that was said last week.
00:33 We wanted to not really, we don't really care about that.
00:36 We wanted to respond for ourselves and what we believe in our standards.
00:41 I think we did that today.
00:43 Credit to that team.
00:45 They're a good team.
00:46 The record might not show it, but I got some guys over there.
00:49 But we felt like we had come out and we should dominate this game.
00:52 And everybody was a full team effort, but we did that, so that feels good.
00:57 >> You guys said last week that during the five game win streak you may have
01:00 gotten away with a lot.
01:01 What did you correct and what are you most proud of as a team?
01:05 >> Our energy in and out of the huddle, our communication.
01:09 I'm speaking more as offense, defense.
01:12 Our team is really, we play well together, but as offense.
01:17 That's our energy, our communication.
01:19 We're flying around, guys making plays, stay on the field,
01:22 converted third downs, drew penalties, and we finished in the red zone.
01:26 Calvin had a great day from O-line, protected Trevor really well.
01:30 Trevor, he was moving today, made some really good plays to get in the end zone.
01:34 So for me, definitely finishing in the red zone, getting touched really feels good.
01:40 >> Can you just talk a little bit about what the offensive line did for you last
01:43 day, because Trevor had much more time.
01:46 >> Hell yeah, man, hell yeah.
01:47 I mean, I was looking at the iPad and looking at pictures and
01:51 Trevor's back there chilling.
01:52 So credit to those guys.
01:54 They came out and they wanted to respond as well.
01:57 We had a great week of practice and it was good, everybody did their thing today.
02:02 >> We heard your wild Calvin was talking,
02:04 just how important can Ripley be to this offense?
02:06 >> Yeah, I mean, dude's unstoppable.
02:09 He's a great route runner, great energy, explosive with the ball in his hands.
02:14 And once he gets in the rhythm, he's hard to stop.
02:17 And I think that showed today, so he's big for us.
02:23 >> How good was it to get back, I guess, on the right foot after what was on the field?
02:27 >> Huge, like I said, we just wanted to respond for ourselves.
02:31 We have a lot left of the season.
02:33 Last week was a punch in the mouth and we wanted to respond today and we did that.
02:38 >> Have you figured out why you guys are so good at that, responding?
02:43 >> Well, I mean, I always think when our backs are against the wall,
02:47 we're a better team and we play better.
02:50 And we had a lot to play for today.
02:52 Division game, division rival, rough one last week,
02:57 haven't really been playing well at home.
02:58 So we had a lot for ourselves to respond to.
03:01 We took that into the day and we wanted to put together a full 60 minutes of doing
03:06 what we know we can do.
03:07 >> But you got even more maybe to play for next week, how mixed that one up?
03:11 >> Man, did they win?
03:12 >> Yeah. >> Nice.
03:14 That's a big one, they're rolling right now.
03:16 We owe them one for what they did last time, what they came in here and
03:19 did to us last time.
03:20 So they're rolling right now, they're playing good football and
03:24 it's gonna be a big challenge for us on the road.
03:27 So we gotta have a great week of work and just go win.
