00:00 I believe in the right to protest. I don't believe in the right to intimidate.
00:04 And some of those protests, I believe, over the last few days have crossed the line from protest
00:12 to intimidation. Protesting outside people's homes, putting pressure on them in that way,
00:19 I think it's totally unacceptable. In a democracy, we elect our MPs and they make decisions.
00:25 They represent their constituents, but they also listen to all of the evidence. And anything that
00:30 would attempt to intimidate an MP to vote in a certain way or to put pressure on them, it is
00:37 anti-democratic in my view. And I know that the police and the House of Commons authorities are
00:44 doing everything that they can to keep members of Parliament safe. But it does hugely concern me
00:50 what we're seeing at the moment. And one of my worries is that good people get put off politics
00:55 because they don't want to put their families through what we're seeing at the moment.
