In a post-apocalyptic world, China witnesses the fall of a meteorite infected with a deadly plant, so a group of men from the affected city form a suicide squad to save the region from collapse. However, the situation involves an alien threat from powerful creatures that could wipe out humanity, forcing surviving soldier Tai Loi (Louis Koo) to face his worst fears.
