00:21 >> Conquer the overworld and be the evil mastermind.
00:25 >> Kill them all.
00:26 >> We have the very strong thing is the campaign.
00:28 So you probably want to play the campaign.
00:30 You can also play sandbox.
00:32 >> In one sentence, smash everything else.
00:35 Make sure you're not getting smashed.
00:37 >> I think it depends on the level.
00:39 But one of the main things you should use are traps,
00:43 and keeping the economy of the dungeon running,
00:47 and then you can hire creatures
00:48 and evilificate the whole overworld.
00:51 [MUSIC]
00:55 >> Well, as usual, heroes stand in your way,
00:57 especially these ones who won't stay
01:01 dead and just come back again and again.
01:05 >> Well, the main obstacle is, of course,
01:08 the heroes and dwarfs and
01:13 the main antagonists that you're fighting in the game.
01:19 >> The main obstacles is that we
01:20 work with two different kind of game plays.
01:23 We've got the real-time strategy gameplay on
01:25 the overworld where you have to evilificate everything,
01:28 you have to conquer the heroes' camps,
01:32 certain quest objectives, while in the underground,
01:35 you have more of a management gameplay.
01:37 You have to make sure that you've got a strong dungeon,
01:40 you've got an economy growing in the underground,
01:42 you can meet your creatures' needs,
01:46 you can build stuff,
01:47 you can get stronger.
01:49 If you manage to toggle these two,
01:53 you're probably going to win.
01:55 >> Of course, the heroes. We have several of them.
01:59 Then the dwarfs and some creatures in the underground,
02:03 spiders and some others too.
02:05 [MUSIC]
02:10 >> Yeah, well, Talia, there's a new perk system for Talia.
02:13 There are certain challenges in the different levels,
02:17 and if you succeed in completing such a challenge,
02:21 you're getting a new perk for Talia.
02:23 You can equip three of them,
02:25 and they give you different bonuses.
02:28 Like for example, demons,
02:30 they now need evilness to revive,
02:32 but you can change that with a perk that they need mana instead,
02:42 or they give you a certain passive bonuses
02:45 like the horrid creatures have more health or do more damage.
02:49 Yeah, well, they try to change the game
02:54 so it's more fitting to your play style.
02:59 >> The idea behind it was to get something
03:02 that you keep over the different scenarios.
03:04 So you unlock these perks and then you have them in the next game.
03:08 We had a static system in Dungeons 3 where you just
03:11 unlock more skills for Talia while you play the campaign.
03:14 Now, we just wanted to have you choose some alternatives.
03:17 You can use this perk or that perk instead.
03:19 [MUSIC]
03:23 >> They can grow in power too.
03:24 It depends on the researches the player does in each level.
03:28 So you can try different play styles with
03:32 different factions or all mix them together.
03:35 >> As in Dungeons 3,
03:37 they can level up,
03:38 they gain experience with fighting and defeating heroes,
03:46 and they level up.
03:49 In Dungeons 3, the max level was level 10 for your creatures.
03:53 In Dungeons 4, there's a certain room that you can build
03:57 so you can get in theory to infinity.
04:02 [MUSIC]
04:06 >> So the dwarves will change the gameplay for Dungeons 4
04:09 because now they will also be able to be in the dungeon,
04:13 not just by going through a dungeon entrance,
04:15 but also setting up the camp there, mining,
04:18 maybe digging towards the dungeon heart of the player.
04:20 So this is a new threat in the underground because you
04:23 cannot just monitor where the enemies are in the overworld.
04:26 You have to be aware that maybe they're just right next to
04:29 you and just breaking through the walls into your rooms.
04:32 >> I think the dwarves will change a lot because in the dungeon,
04:36 there's more up and you have to battle them underground.
04:42 They even have their own entrances.
04:44 If you defeat them, you can use
04:46 their entrances and reach new places.
04:48 >> It changes the game quite a lot, I think,
04:52 because they are digging their own ways through a dungeon.
04:57 They're building their own rooms.
04:58 You can't simply drop your creatures there,
05:01 but you have to fight your way through the Dwarven dungeon.
05:06 They have their own goals.
05:09 They try to steal your gold.
05:10 They're not only attacking your dungeon heart,
05:13 but rather are grabbing your resources.
05:17 >> This time we added instead of the evil hubs we had in Dungeons 3,
05:25 we added different bosses to the overworld.
05:29 It was a lot of fun designing these good creatures which are a lot
05:33 more bigger and menacing than
05:37 the usual enemies you encounter on the overworld.
05:41 My favorite is the house, the drunken house.
05:45 >> There are several rooms which came along with Dungeons 3,
05:49 which I really like,
05:50 like the relaxing chamber and the Arcanium.
05:52 But there are also several new ones,
05:54 which really add something to the whole Dungeons gameplay.
05:57 For example, there's the Voodoo Brew,
05:59 where you can brew potions,
06:01 which you can use for strengthening creatures,
06:04 boost the economy in the dungeon,
06:07 fight against your enemies.
06:08 There are lots of different potions you can brew there.
06:10 They really add some spice to the entire gameplay.
06:14 >> Dungeons 4.
