00:00 There are so many amazing ways that Across the Spider-Verse ties into Into the Spider-Verse
00:07 and they can't be coincidences the way that certain things lay out and I won't get into
00:10 specifics you know I'll let people discover them for themselves but I want to know how
00:13 much of Across you guys knew when you were doing Into and what's one thing that you wish
00:19 you would put in the first film that might have helped the next two?
00:22 Wow.
00:23 Oh gosh.
00:24 There are a couple things well obviously we you know there's the beat at the end of the
00:28 first movie.
00:30 Right.
00:31 We had to do a bit of retconning.
00:32 There's a little bit of retconning on that as far as you know he's older now and it was
00:35 you know in the first movie it was still his younger design.
00:39 We almost I tried to talk Chris into going back into the first film and revising the
00:44 final shot to make Miles look older.
00:48 Oh that's funny.
00:49 And also it's unclear in that final shot it's Miles dropping into his bed it's unclear whether
00:54 he's in his dorm room or in his parents house and he and it was his bed from the dorm room
01:03 so we had to kind of like retcon it into the into his parents apartment.
01:09 We also did a big redesign on Captain George Stacey who appears very briefly in the first
01:14 movie but doesn't look like the way the character that's played by Shea Wigum is in this movie.
01:21 Yeah I would have given Dr. Jonathan Ohn a cool beard and hairstyle.
