00:00 >> I think I'll do work I put in the last couple years I've been in the league,
00:03 especially last year in Atlanta.
00:04 And this great coach just out there getting ready.
00:06 I think I was ready to go thinking on the number of calls last week or not.
00:10 So this week, I mean, obviously, you never want to see a guy go down like that,
00:13 especially when he's in your room like that.
00:14 Juan brings juice and energy every day.
00:16 So for me, it's just like if my opportunity is this week, then I'm ready to go.
00:21 >> Michael, how well do you feel like you fit in here?
00:24 >> It's good, man.
00:24 It's something like Coach T, man, it's something that I've always wanted to play
00:28 with him, he's the type of guy who just, when you come in here,
00:30 there's a level of expectation and a standard that this guy just put aside here.
00:34 And you don't have to be here long to figure that out.
00:36 >> In your limited time, has he been what you thought he would be?
00:39 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, and more.
00:40 He's just like, I don't know, just watching this game since I was born.
00:44 So just watching him and what he's able to do, I mean, you have to respect it.
00:48 His most winning, I mean, what, 17 years in a row, winning record?
00:51 I mean, it's something that's unheard of, so.
00:54 >> What's Alain and Robert's like in the room?
00:55 What kind of tone does he set for the inside linebackers?
00:58 >> All you gotta do is turn on the game on Sunday, you'll see it.
01:00 I mean, he's a headhunter.
01:01 I mean, that dude right there, he's a monster.
01:03 I watch and respect this game a lot.
01:05 These guys, when you're in the league, just going on year four now,
01:08 you kinda meet all these people and stuff like that.
01:10 So I heard about him, known about him for a while now, and
01:12 I get to see it every day in person.
01:13 So like I said, with him and Quan, they bring the juice in our room, so
01:16 it's something that we gotta step it up.
01:18 >> What do you add to the inside linebacker room if you're called upon when
01:22 you're given that opportunity?
01:24 >> I think just my experience, my versatility.
01:26 I've done it before, I've had a green dot before.
01:28 I've played games, played in big games.
01:30 Just my experience that I have out there and being able to call upon
01:34 coaching staff anytime I have it, I'm gonna ask questions all day long.
01:36 So it's nothing like never a guy in the room who thinks he knows everything,
01:40 more searching for, seeking for help, seeking for answers and stuff like that.
01:43 So I think what I bring to this room is experience and more versatility.
01:47 >> After having some success in Atlanta, getting that second opportunity,
01:50 what's that emotion like to wanna go out and show, hey, I can still play this game?
01:55 >> I mean, it's been huge.
01:56 I mean, to be honest, I never thought I'd be in this situation,
01:59 especially after what I did last year in Atlanta.
02:01 So for me, just mentally, just riding the roller coaster up and down,
02:03 waiting for my number to get called.
02:05 My agent, he keeps me grounded.
02:06 Sometimes I'm ready to just explode, just journey.
02:10 But he's taught me a lot.
02:11 You just gotta be ready when your opportunity's called.
02:12 And if you look at my first two years in Atlanta, it's been the same way.
02:15 I've always been that guy who had to wait and scrap and
02:17 fight to get to the top.
02:18 So if my opportunity's called, I'll be ready.
02:20 >> What's your impression of Aaron Curry just as a position coach?
02:23 And how much does he bring to you guys as a guy who's been in the league and
02:26 dealt with adversity and kind of come out on the other side?
02:29 >> Yeah, I mean, it's huge.
02:30 I mean, my first day here, he told me I was a player.
02:33 So the playbook is not X and Os when you're out there.
02:35 I know what it is like to play.
02:37 And unfortunately, some circumstances I've been in,
02:40 you have to do it like the playbook.
02:41 He's not one of those coaches.
02:42 So I mean, I just look forward to being able to play for a guy like that.
02:45 And I know he could take my game to the next level.
