The Royal Mint has unveiled a new £5 coin to celebrate King Charles III's 75th birthday.
The commemorative coin features the King's royal cypher, the number 75, and honours Charles' love of the natural world and commitment to sustainability.
The Mint is looking for 75 people celebrating their 75th birthday in 2023, to give each of them one of the commemorative coins.

00:46 what was in my mind throughout the process. Through the first stages of the
00:51 design I had in my head that I wanted to include the oak leaves. They've been
00:56 used in countless artworks throughout history to do with the royal family.
01:01 They represent strength and dignity, so I wanted to use them kind of as the
01:05 foundation of the design and then work my way up through to the delphiniums
01:09 which are his majesty's favourite flower.
