Cal coach was disappointed how the team played after the first quarter.

00:07 Um and then we just you know we weren't ourselves. Uh it wasn't Cal basketball.

00:12 Um you know credit to Chanel's team. They they kept fighting. They were scrappy and

00:17 feisty which we knew they would be. Um and we just you know didn't didn't look like we were

00:22 in a rhythm. Um like we were doing the right things and I'm glad that you know we can have

00:28 this and and still be three and all. And um we know we have work to do. I say we're not

00:34 where we want to be right in terms of our goals but we're where we need to be in that we're three

00:39 and up and that's really important. Questions? The offense dropped off after you played in the

00:46 first quarter um and then some more at halftime with Joanna on the bench. Can you talk about how

00:55 not having your primary scoring threat out there affecting things and also maybe a health status?

01:01 Yeah um I think she'll be fine. She said it doesn't hurt when she shoots so that's a possibility.

01:07 Um I uh you know you say primary scoring threat but you know KK Lettison's scoring the game before

01:14 and uh you know we have a lot of weapons on this team. He has been much more aggressive

01:19 offensively so uh I don't think yo being out is an excuse for us not to put up points in this game

01:26 and um you know we just we just didn't play well. Uh we turned it over too much. 17 turnovers is way

01:32 too many uh for this game. We forced things. We knew that they would collapse in the paint and

01:38 the kick was out and we we tried to jam it in a little bit too much. We had people open on the

01:43 perimeter and then unfortunately you know I'd say like we didn't knock down those open shots but we

01:49 we shot it at 38 percent. Um that's pretty good. It just you know I guess it was a lot early and
