00:20 - I'm Philip Sampson.
00:46 I'm here today because I'm a Christian.
00:49 And I think my Lord is not,
00:52 well, he asked his disciples to bless the children,
00:56 not to slaughter them.
00:58 So even if I was in any doubt in the first place
01:01 about what's going on,
01:02 I'm
01:04 duly bound to follow my Lord.
01:09 So that's why I'm here today.
01:10 - As-salamu alaykum.
01:13 My name is Iqbal Shah.
01:15 And the reason why we are here is to show that
01:18 we love peace across the whole world.
01:21 And we want peace.
01:23 We don't want any hatred.
01:25 We don't want any hatred against anyone.
01:27 And we would like to show Swela
01:29 that we are there for a peace march,
01:31 not for a hate march.

02:01 - I'm Cleo.
02:04 We're at the National March for Palestine in London.
02:09 I am Jewish.
02:10 And I'm the great-granddaughter of Holocaust survivors.
02:15 And as a descendant of Holocaust survivors,
02:20 I feel like it's my duty to be here
02:23 standing against genocide,
02:24 standing against ethnic cleansing,
02:26 as I would have hoped anyone would have done
02:29 for my family in the 1940s.
02:34 I also, it's my duty to be here as a Jew
02:37 to stand against,
02:39 to stand with my Palestinian brothers and sisters.
02:42 We are all the same,
02:43 and there's more that separates,
02:45 there's more that unites us and separates us.
02:47 And yeah, I'm just here to show my solidarity.
02:53 And yeah.
02:54 I think there's been a lot of fear
02:57 and a lot of divisiveness drummed up by our politicians.
03:03 I also think that,
03:05 I don't feel unsafe here.
03:06 I feel very safe.
03:07 I'm standing with people that all share my same beliefs.
03:11 But I do think there's a huge divide
03:12 in the Jewish community.
03:14 And it is literally a drumming up of fear
03:18 and our grief being weaponized against us
03:23 to stand against things that we should be standing against
03:26 and condemning things that we shouldn't be condemning,
03:31 like not marching against the genocide.
03:34 It's craziness.
03:35 So yeah, I don't feel,
03:37 I feel 100% safe.
03:39 I'm standing with my,
03:41 you know, all different people from all walks of life,
03:44 and we all are safe here.
03:46 - My name is Michael Kalmanovitz.
03:50 I'm a member of the International Jewish
03:53 Anti-Zionist Network here in the UK.
03:56 And we're here in London on this huge march for Palestine.
04:01 And we are glad to be here.
04:03 We are determined that Israeli genocide
04:07 of Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza,
04:10 should not be allowed.
04:12 We must stop it now.
04:14 And in fact, we have an open letter
04:17 to other Jewish people called,
04:20 Jews Say No to Genocide.
04:22 And that's a lot of us right now.
04:24 Thousands and thousands of Jewish people
04:26 are coming out for Palestine in London,
04:29 in New York, and elsewhere.
04:32 And we're proud to be out supporting Palestine.
04:35 And the issue of whether we as Jewish people feel safe,
04:39 of course we feel safe.
04:42 And of course, people who support genocide
04:44 of whatever religion or no religion should not feel safe.
04:48 Genocide is not to be supported by anyone
04:51 with a conscience and a heart.
04:53 - Not in our name!
04:54 - Not in our name!
04:56 - Not in our name!
04:57 - Jews against genocide!
04:59 - Jews against genocide!
05:01 - Hi, I'm Netanel Ben-Yaden.
05:03 We're here with the Jewish block.
05:05 There's thousands of us, at least three to 5,000.
05:07 I'm specifically with the Black Jewish Alliance.
05:09 And we're here in solidarity with all the people
05:11 in Palestine who are being bombed.
05:13 And it's outrageous and it's not being done in our name.
05:16 We want to make sure that people see that we're visible.
05:19 Black Jews, the whole of the Jewish block.
05:21 I'd say there's thousands of us here in solidarity.
05:23 We're here because of humanity.
05:25 And it's not just about peace, we want liberation.
05:29 - Yeah!
