00:00:00 Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you. What a crowd.
00:00:07 What a crowd.
00:00:09 (Applause.)
00:00:24 Well, it's a great place, and I just want to say a very big hello to New Hampshire.
00:00:29 You've been fantastic, and we've had tremendous success.
00:00:33 It's great to be back in the proud home of the first-in-the-nation primary,
00:00:39 your first-in-the-nation primary.
00:00:41 (Applause.)
00:00:43 I wonder who kept you there.
00:00:46 Trump. Trump.
00:00:48 Less than three months from now, we're going to win the New Hampshire primary
00:00:52 for a third straight time.
00:00:54 (Applause.)
00:00:56 And we're going to -- look at all these people up there.
00:01:00 I didn't even see you. I didn't see you.
00:01:03 Wow, what a group.
00:01:06 And we're going to crush crooked Joe Biden.
00:01:08 He is a crooked man.
00:01:10 Next November.
00:01:12 And we're going to make America great again.
00:01:15 We're going to make it great again.
00:01:17 We have no choice. We have to.
00:01:19 I want to thank our Sullivan County Trump chair,
00:01:22 State Representative Jonathan Stone, wherever you may be, Jonathan.
00:01:26 There's so many people. Jonathan, thank you very much.
00:01:30 Thank you, Jonathan.
00:01:32 New Hampshire Police Association Vice President Timon Aikua.
00:01:38 I don't know if that's good or not, but I tell you what, it's the best --
00:01:41 where is he?
00:01:43 (Laughter.)
00:01:45 I'm very pleased to receive the endorsement
00:01:48 of Sullivan County Commissioner Joe Osgood.
00:01:51 We just got that. Thank you very much.
00:01:53 Joe, where's Joe?
00:01:55 Joe, thank you. Thank you, Joe.
00:01:58 State Representative Kristen Noble.
00:02:02 Also, Jim Cofalt.
00:02:05 And the 603 Alliance, I appreciate it.
00:02:08 I appreciate the endorsements.
00:02:10 We've had a lot of endorsements in New Hampshire.
00:02:14 Almost everybody is endorsing us.
00:02:16 Now they're -- and now they're coming.
00:02:19 The money is flowing in, all those funders.
00:02:21 They said, "Maybe we'll endorse somebody else with our money."
00:02:25 And all of a sudden, they're calling.
00:02:27 They say, "President, President, hi."
00:02:30 I said, "I thought you were going to be with the sanctimonious."
00:02:33 "No way. No way, sir. I'll give you whatever you want, sir."
00:02:38 It's an amazing phenomena when you have --
00:02:41 the phenomena when you have great polls, right?
00:02:43 But the polls have been great because of people like you.
00:02:45 We appreciate it very much, and we should do very well.
00:02:49 And they've been very good against crooked Joe Biden.
00:02:52 We're leading in every swing state now, every swing state.
00:02:56 We're leading by a lot.
00:02:58 But as you know, today is Veterans Day,
00:03:00 a very, very special day.
00:03:02 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:03:05 So let's express our eternal gratitude
00:03:07 to every veteran in this room.
00:03:09 And who's a veteran? Raise your hand, please.
00:03:12 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:03:15 A lot of veterans up here.
00:03:24 Every proud veteran across the great state of New Hampshire,
00:03:27 you're very, very proud of your heritage,
00:03:30 of your state, and of your military.
00:03:33 Tremendous, I think, proportionately,
00:03:35 as many in New Hampshire, maybe more than any other state.
00:03:38 We're also honored to be joined by the Gold Star family members
00:03:41 of Marines who lost their lives
00:03:44 in the Afghanistan -- horrible, horrible withdrawal.
00:03:48 I got to know the parents and the relatives of so many of them,
00:03:53 and they're incredible people.
00:03:55 We spent an evening in Bedminster listening to music, right?
00:03:58 We listened to music. Oh, there they are.
00:04:01 We had a good time.
00:04:03 I said, "I'll be with them maybe 15 or 20 minutes."
00:04:06 We spent about three hours together, right,
00:04:08 looking up in the sky and seeing
00:04:11 some beautiful signals coming down, right?
00:04:14 The father of Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover, Darren Hoover.
00:04:19 Where are you? You're here someplace.
00:04:21 Yeah, there you are. Thank you very much.
00:04:24 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:04:25 Thank you very much. Darren.
00:04:28 Beautiful Darren. Beautiful Darren.
00:04:31 The father of Lance Corporal Kareem Nkouy
00:04:35 and Stephen Nkouy,
00:04:38 and the mother-in-law of Sergeant Nicole Gee.
00:04:43 We have them all here today.
00:04:45 We have them all, Trump 2024.
00:04:48 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:04:51 Christy Shamblin. Christy.
00:04:53 Thank you, Christy, very much.
00:04:55 And we'll see you back there or someplace else, okay?
00:04:58 But we had -- that was a great evening.
00:05:00 Wasn't that wild, sort of?
00:05:02 We started off very sad, and we finished the evening,
00:05:05 and it was a beautiful, beautiful tribute to them.
00:05:08 Not to us, to them, right?
00:05:10 So thank you very much. We'll do it again.
00:05:12 We'll do it again.
00:05:14 And we love you all, and we will never forget
00:05:16 the sacrifice of Taylor and Nicole and Kareem
00:05:20 and the others, and incredible what happened.
00:05:24 You don't take the military out first.
00:05:26 You take the military out last, right?
00:05:28 And about 10 other things that we could name.
00:05:31 You don't give up Bagram, and you leave from Bagram,
00:05:34 not from the place they left from.
00:05:37 Couldn't breathe. It was so tight, so crazy,
00:05:39 so horrible what they did.
00:05:41 The veterans who have served this nation in uniform
00:05:44 and listed their lives in defense of their families,
00:05:48 our freedom, and our great American flag.
00:05:50 And when I'm back in the White House,
00:05:52 we're all going back together.
00:05:54 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:05:56 They will once again have the loyalty, the respect,
00:05:59 and the support that they earned and they so dearly deserve.
00:06:03 After years of scandal, betrayal, and neglect
00:06:06 under the Obama-Biden administration,
00:06:10 I signed the VA Accountability Act.
00:06:13 They were trying to get it done for 59 years,
00:06:16 and we got it done through Congress, believe it or not,
00:06:19 so they can't cancel it out right away,
00:06:22 allowing us to tell the sadists and people that didn't work
00:06:26 and people that didn't love are wounded
00:06:29 and are injured and are hurt.
00:06:32 They were terrible. They would treat them terribly,
00:06:35 and you couldn't do a damn thing about it.
00:06:37 They'd be in there, and they were sadists.
00:06:39 They had people -- This wasn't prime time for our people,
00:06:41 and they weren't able to defend themselves.
00:06:43 They had people that would really mistreat our veterans,
00:06:46 and we couldn't do a thing about it because of the laws,
00:06:50 civil service and otherwise. You couldn't do a thing.
00:06:53 They could be as bad as they wanted.
00:06:55 They could do everything up to murder,
00:06:57 and the way they treated some of these people
00:06:59 were just horrible people.
00:07:01 You couldn't fire them, and now we looked at them,
00:07:04 and we took about 7,000 of them, and we said,
00:07:07 "You're fired. Get out. Get out. Get out."
00:07:11 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:07:12 That was a big thing.
00:07:15 And by the way, I don't know if you know it,
00:07:17 but Biden wants to put them all back. Can you believe it?
00:07:19 And these were the bad ones. These were the bad ones.
00:07:21 We don't want to do that. We don't want to fire --
00:07:23 we replaced them with great people.
00:07:25 They want to put them all back,
00:07:26 all those people that are sickos.
00:07:29 They want to put them all back.
00:07:31 I also signed -- about 59 years,
00:07:33 they've been trying to get this one,
00:07:35 VA Choice, which made it permanent
00:07:37 so that the veterans can get medical care
00:07:40 at the private health care provider of their choice
00:07:42 so that you go in and --
00:07:44 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:07:46 You go in, and you want to -- you're not feeling well.
00:07:49 And, you know, many people became terminally ill waiting.
00:07:52 They'd wait for two weeks, two months, three months,
00:07:55 four months, five months, six, seven months.
00:07:58 And by the time they got to see the doctor,
00:08:00 they were terminally ill.
00:08:01 They could have been taken care of very quickly,
00:08:03 very easily, you know, preventative care.
00:08:05 The best thing about that is get it early.
00:08:08 They got it early, but when they got to the doctor,
00:08:11 it would be many months in many cases.
00:08:13 So if you waited more than one day,
00:08:15 we let you go to a private doctor, any private doctor.
00:08:18 We paid the cost. We negotiated with them.
00:08:21 We had fixed prices.
00:08:23 I said, "Because those doctors,
00:08:24 they know how to make money, don't they?"
00:08:26 Some of them are money machines,
00:08:28 and some are just really good doctors
00:08:30 and really love everyone in this room
00:08:33 and all of your relatives.
00:08:34 And what happened is we made a deal
00:08:37 that nobody said could be made,
00:08:39 and we got it passed in Congress, believe it or not.
00:08:41 The Republican Congress did a great job with both of these,
00:08:45 the accountability and this.
00:08:47 And now you go, and if you have to wait in line
00:08:49 for more than a day, you go to a private doctor,
00:08:51 you pick the private doctor,
00:08:53 and they take care of you when you live.
00:08:55 And believe it or not,
00:08:56 not that this was why I did it, because it wasn't,
00:08:59 but you save a lot of money.
00:09:00 It's actually a lot cheaper
00:09:01 than letting somebody get sicker and sicker
00:09:04 and just end up dying a horrible death.
00:09:08 And people that were pretty sick but not that bad are better,
00:09:13 and it's been an incredible system.
00:09:15 I understand they're trying to dismantle it
00:09:17 under the Biden administration,
00:09:20 and you would know better than I,
00:09:21 but they're trying to dismantle that
00:09:23 under the Biden administration.
00:09:25 But under the Trump administration,
00:09:27 we live by the motto, "Promises made, promises kept."
00:09:30 I made that promise.
00:09:32 [cheers and applause]
00:09:33 And there is no more solemn pledge
00:09:35 than a promise to America's veterans.
00:09:38 The veterans are incredible people.
00:09:40 So many people in this room.
00:09:42 Unfortunately, with crooked Joe Biden in the White House,
00:09:45 our veterans are once again being backstabbed
00:09:48 and betrayed by their government.
00:09:50 Crooked Joe gutted our historic VA reforms
00:09:53 and fought to reinstate thousands and thousands,
00:09:56 as I just said, of fired, horrible employees.
00:10:01 These are horrible employees.
00:10:03 That when we terminated them,
00:10:06 we said, "Get out of here," and they got out.
00:10:09 But now they have a little bit of a lobby going,
00:10:12 and they even want back pay.
00:10:14 They treated our veterans badly,
00:10:17 and it looks like it's gonna cost up to $200 million
00:10:20 in back pay for people that were treating our veterans badly.
00:10:24 But instead of wasting $200 million
00:10:26 on the worst VA employees--
00:10:28 and when I say bad, they're bad.
00:10:31 When I'm president, I'll ask Congress
00:10:33 to take up every penny of that money
00:10:35 and add some to it,
00:10:37 because we're gonna build in your great state
00:10:40 a brand-new, beautiful VA hospital
00:10:42 right here in New Hampshire.
00:10:44 We're gonna build it.
00:10:46 We're gonna build the most beautiful hospital.
00:10:49 (applause)
00:10:51 And it's gonna be-- you know, you're just about--
00:10:54 I hate to say this-- you're just about the only state
00:10:57 that doesn't have a VA hospital,
00:10:59 but yours is gonna be better than any of them.
00:11:02 I'll get involved in the real estate world.
00:11:05 We'll start looking at the corners,
00:11:07 and we'll say, "We'll build a better one
00:11:09 for half the price, better than anybody's,
00:11:12 but you'll have it."
00:11:14 And that's already on the drawing board.
00:11:16 You're gonna end up with your own hospital,
00:11:18 which you really need.
00:11:20 People have to travel for hundreds of miles
00:11:22 to go and get to a hospital, a VA hospital.
00:11:25 I'll also make it a personal mission
00:11:27 to completely eradicate veterans' homelessness in America.
00:11:32 (applause)
00:11:34 You know, we were doing a great job with it,
00:11:36 and then a terrible thing happened.
00:11:39 We were doing so well with it, and then these guys get in,
00:11:42 and they treat the illegal aliens
00:11:45 just pouring, pouring into our country
00:11:47 better than they treat our veterans.
00:11:50 I mean... (audience boos)
00:11:54 I mean, they stay in the best hotels.
00:11:56 I don't even stay in those hotels.
00:11:58 I say, "Don't stay there."
00:12:00 I tell my people, "Don't stay there. They're too expensive."
00:12:02 They say, "We can't, sir.
00:12:04 "We're being occupied by illegal aliens."
00:12:07 Those owners are making a lot of money,
00:12:09 but it's just crazy that we don't treat the veterans...
00:12:12 we don't treat our veterans right.
00:12:14 In the past three years, Biden has spent over $1 billion
00:12:17 to put up illegal aliens in hotels,
00:12:19 some of the most luxurious hotels in the country.
00:12:22 Meanwhile, we have 33,000 homeless American veterans.
00:12:26 Can you believe it?
00:12:28 And we were really alleviating that problem,
00:12:30 and now they've given that totally up.
00:12:32 It's terrible.
00:12:34 On day one, I'll sign an executive order
00:12:36 to cut off Biden's spigot of money
00:12:38 for the shelter and transport of illegal aliens,
00:12:41 and we will redirect a large portion of the savings
00:12:46 to provide shelter and treatment for our own homeless veterans.
00:12:51 (applause)
00:12:52 We love our veterans.
00:12:53 We got to take care of our veterans.
00:12:55 They're among our greatest people.
00:12:58 Crooked Joe puts bureaucrats first
00:13:00 and illegal aliens first.
00:13:02 I will put veterans first and America first
00:13:05 every single time.
00:13:07 (applause)
00:13:13 In addition to being Veterans Day,
00:13:15 today is also Armistice Day.
00:13:17 Did you know that?
00:13:18 Armistice Day.
00:13:20 And this is an incredible number when you hear these numbers,
00:13:24 but the anniversary of the end of World War I,
00:13:27 a conflict that wrecked the entire world, really.
00:13:32 I mean, large parts of the entire world,
00:13:34 and killed over 20 million people.
00:13:36 Did you know that?
00:13:37 Twenty million people.
00:13:38 Twenty million people.
00:13:41 And think of it, we have a guy in the White House
00:13:44 who can't put two sentences together --
00:13:46 (laughter)
00:13:49 -- who couldn't find his way off this stage.
00:13:52 (laughter)
00:13:56 Actually, he would be confused,
00:13:58 because I think my audience behind me
00:14:00 might be bigger than my audience in front of me.
00:14:03 (applause)
00:14:07 He would be saying -- he'd be saying, "What do I do?
00:14:12 Where am I?"
00:14:13 He'd be saying -- it is sort of a strange speaking venue.
00:14:17 I'm, like, in the middle of a room,
00:14:18 and I'm looking back here.
00:14:20 But he would say, "What's this?"
00:14:23 You ever see the end of a speech?
00:14:24 He has no clue how to get off.
00:14:26 You got to stare there.
00:14:27 You got to jump off the front, do anything.
00:14:29 Just don't walk into a wall.
00:14:31 He walks into a wall.
00:14:33 But this is the guy that we have negotiating with Putin and --
00:14:38 right? -- and President Xi of China,
00:14:42 and Kim Jong-un, who won't even talk to him.
00:14:45 This is who we have in charge of nuclear.
00:14:47 But this anniversary should remind us all
00:14:50 of why it is so important to, once again,
00:14:53 have a President who will deliver peace through strength.
00:14:57 That's what we had.
00:14:58 We had tremendous -- we had all peace.
00:15:00 (applause)
00:15:01 We had -- we had peace.
00:15:03 We had a great -- we had a great period of time.
00:15:07 World War III has never been closer, in my opinion,
00:15:11 than it is right now.
00:15:13 And it wasn't at all close.
00:15:14 We were never going to have it.
00:15:16 Three years ago, we had -- we had everything
00:15:19 under perfect control.
00:15:21 Russia was treating us with respect.
00:15:24 They would have never, ever gone into Ukraine.
00:15:27 China would have never been talking about Taiwan.
00:15:30 I mean, we had this -- the whole thing was going really good.
00:15:33 You know, if you ask me, when he pulled out --
00:15:35 the way he pulled out of Afghanistan --
00:15:37 Putin wouldn't have done it anyway.
00:15:39 But the way he pulled out of Afghanistan,
00:15:42 it said, "Let's go."
00:15:44 And, you know, everyone lost respect.
00:15:46 We pulled out as cowards.
00:15:48 It was a surrender.
00:15:49 It was truly a surrender.
00:15:51 We gave up $85 billion worth of equipment.
00:15:55 These 13 great lives.
00:15:57 And we had 38 people were obliterated -- 38.
00:16:01 They don't talk about them.
00:16:02 They never talk about them.
00:16:04 Missing legs -- one case, two legs, one arm,
00:16:08 and a half an arm.
00:16:10 And just -- just obliterated.
00:16:13 And nobody mentions those poor people.
00:16:15 It should have never happened.
00:16:17 That should have never happened.
00:16:19 The people in the front row that I've gotten to know --
00:16:22 incredible families --
00:16:24 they're just torn apart by gross incompetence.
00:16:27 And I tell you, it's so sad to see.
00:16:30 It would have been so easy.
00:16:31 We had -- we had something going.
00:16:34 We called up the head of the Taliban.
00:16:36 I told the story to you,
00:16:38 but I called up the head of the Taliban.
00:16:40 I said -- the press got on me for that.
00:16:42 Look at all the press.
00:16:43 Oh, it's so nice.
00:16:44 The fake news.
00:16:47 Fake news.
00:16:49 Fake news.
00:16:51 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:16:54 But I spoke to the head of the Taliban, Abdul.
00:16:58 And I told him, "Abdul, you can't do this.
00:17:01 You can't -- you keep shooting us."
00:17:03 So they killed a lot of -- a lot of soldiers,
00:17:05 snipers, during the Obama/Biden --
00:17:09 I don't know, did they ever call him?
00:17:11 But they killed a lot of people with the snipers,
00:17:13 a lot of people, period.
00:17:14 And I said, "You can't do it."
00:17:16 Anyway, since -- I had a rough conversation with him.
00:17:19 Since that conversation, we didn't lose one --
00:17:22 18 months, it was -- we didn't lose one soldier.
00:17:25 There wasn't one soldier shot at.
00:17:27 18 months.
00:17:28 Even Biden admitted that.
00:17:30 He said, "Well, I will say one thing.
00:17:32 Under the Trump policy, they didn't lose any soldier."
00:17:35 When he said that, his people went crazy.
00:17:37 "Don't say that."
00:17:38 Why?
00:17:40 But he did say that once.
00:17:42 So I think we have to -- we'll have to wheel out --
00:17:45 we'll have to wheel out that statement.
00:17:47 But it's true.
00:17:48 Look, for 18 months -- think of it --
00:17:50 18 months, we didn't lose one soldier.
00:17:52 And then we had a rigged election.
00:17:54 And then the result was exactly that.
00:17:57 By the way, Hillary is allowed to say things about elections,
00:18:00 and every Democrat is allowed to say.
00:18:02 But if we say it, we get indicted.
00:18:05 They indict us if we say -- and in our case, it was true.
00:18:08 It was a rigged election.
00:18:10 It was stolen.
00:18:11 And because of that, we have unhappy people in the front row,
00:18:14 and we have a lot of other unhappy people.
00:18:16 Because of that, we have inflation,
00:18:19 and we have high taxes, and we have high interest rates,
00:18:22 and you can't buy a home, and you can't refinance your home,
00:18:25 and you can't sell your home.
00:18:27 And you have energy at the highest level it's ever been.
00:18:31 You were energy independent three years ago.
00:18:34 You had $1.87 a gallon gasoline.
00:18:38 And now you have $5 gasoline.
00:18:42 But I stand before you today as the only candidate in either party
00:18:46 who can make this promise.
00:18:49 I will prevent -- 100 percent prevent World War III.
00:18:53 You're going to end up --
00:18:55 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:18:56 You're going to end up in World War III.
00:18:58 If you look at what's going on right now in the Middle East and Ukraine,
00:19:02 and you add it up,
00:19:04 and we have somebody that has no clue what the hell is going on,
00:19:08 you're going to end up in World War III because of this.
00:19:11 No reason for it. Millions of people will die.
00:19:14 I know the players. I know the job.
00:19:16 I alone in this primary have borne the burden of having troops in harm's way
00:19:21 as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
00:19:24 And the neocons, globalists, and warmongers, and the race,
00:19:29 they like to talk to us, "Oh, we're going to go here. We're going to go there."
00:19:32 Millions of people die, and we didn't do that.
00:19:35 Yet we knocked the hell out of ISIS.
00:19:38 You know, I defeated ISIS totally and brought them back.
00:19:41 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:19:42 But these people are way over their heads.
00:19:44 Biden is over their head.
00:19:46 I mean, Biden, in all fairness to the Republican candidates,
00:19:49 Biden, if you call that --
00:19:51 Look, what kind of a candidate?
00:19:53 They're losing by, like, 60, 70 points each.
00:19:56 Even they agree I shouldn't go to the debates.
00:19:58 I mean, the other day, two of them said,
00:20:00 "Well, if I was in his position, I don't think I'd debate either."
00:20:04 But how about this guy Asa Hutchinson, right?
00:20:08 He's been at zero for the last three months.
00:20:13 Now, do you think he's going to surge to 90?
00:20:17 I call him Ada, Ada.
00:20:19 Ada Hutchinson.
00:20:21 No, no, he's been at zero -- zero -- for the last three months.
00:20:26 He didn't make the last debate because he had zero.
00:20:30 How about that?
00:20:31 You have a large population voting.
00:20:33 He got absolutely no votes.
00:20:35 So he gets no votes, and he says --
00:20:37 And today, I just heard his campaign manager quit.
00:20:40 Why did he quit?
00:20:42 Because I've been telling the guy to quit, and he won't quit.
00:20:45 I think this -- if he ever made it,
00:20:48 it would be the single greatest comeback
00:20:50 in the history of politics or any other event.
00:20:54 You could say politics or any other event, if he made it.
00:20:59 If he made it, it's only because he'd be the only one left on Earth.
00:21:03 [ Laughter ]
00:21:05 And he's a nasty guy, you know?
00:21:07 He talks like -- He's terrible. He's a lousy governor, too.
00:21:11 To me, "Peace through strength" is not just a political slogan.
00:21:15 It's actually a moral duty.
00:21:17 And it's my commitment to you, the American people,
00:21:20 but you will not have World War III.
00:21:22 You know, we were respected --
00:21:24 When I was president, we were respected by China.
00:21:27 You know, one story, a quick story.
00:21:29 You don't mind if I go off teleprompter like a lot, do you?
00:21:32 [ Cheers and applause ]
00:21:34 So much more exciting. So much more.
00:21:37 But the head of Hungary, a very tough, strong guy,
00:21:42 Viktor Orban -- did anybody ever hear of him?
00:21:44 Probably, you know, considered very powerful,
00:21:47 very powerful within his country and outside of his country.
00:21:51 Not exactly loved by some of the European nations
00:21:54 because he does this thing.
00:21:56 He didn't allow millions of people to invade his country.
00:21:59 He allowed nobody to invade.
00:22:01 Zero. Zero. He had nobody.
00:22:03 So he doesn't have crime, and he doesn't have the problems
00:22:06 that they're having in other countries
00:22:08 where millions of people are allowed to go in.
00:22:10 But they were interviewing him two weeks ago, and they said,
00:22:13 "What would you advise President Obama?
00:22:15 The whole world seems to be exploding and imploding."
00:22:19 And he said, "It's very simple.
00:22:21 He should immediately resign,
00:22:23 and they should replace him with President Trump,
00:22:26 who kept the world safe."
00:22:28 And I'm not just talking the United States.
00:22:30 China respected him.
00:22:33 Russia respected him.
00:22:36 North Korea respected him.
00:22:38 And he used another word other than "respect" --
00:22:40 he said "fear." But I don't want to use that word.
00:22:43 Of course, it's probably better than "respect"
00:22:45 if you get right down to it, right?
00:22:47 But he said, "Everybody was fine."
00:22:49 We had no prob-- We have none of these problems.
00:22:51 You didn't have inflation.
00:22:53 You didn't have these problems three years ago.
00:22:55 And then you look at this.
00:22:57 We had the greatest economy in history.
00:22:59 Now we have a mess.
00:23:01 You'll end up in the Great Depression.
00:23:03 And I'll tell you the one thing I don't want to be.
00:23:05 I don't want to be Herbert Hoover.
00:23:07 I always said, "I don't want to be Herbert Hoover."
00:23:10 And the way they're going with their stupid energy policies.
00:23:13 You know, you pay the highest in this state.
00:23:15 You pay the highest energy costs
00:23:18 anywhere in the United States.
00:23:20 You know that?
00:23:21 You ought to talk to your governor about that.
00:23:23 You ought to talk to your governor.
00:23:25 Who right now, I don't think he could be elected dog catcher.
00:23:28 Here's a guy...
00:23:30 Here's a guy...
00:23:31 And you may have a couple of fans, but I doubt it.
00:23:34 Here's a guy, could have been a senator,
00:23:36 would have been greatly helpful if he could have been.
00:23:38 He's got the heritage of the name.
00:23:40 He used to like his father.
00:23:41 His father used to treat me very nice.
00:23:43 He was actually nasty, and then when I won, he was...
00:23:45 He went from one of the worst to one of the best.
00:23:48 When I won, his father was great.
00:23:50 Before that, he was nasty.
00:23:52 You know, he was a bush guy.
00:23:53 I mean, one of those things.
00:23:54 They tend to be a little bit bad.
00:23:56 Don't get a lot of the right things done.
00:23:58 But his father was very, very good to me.
00:24:01 And this guy, he could have been a senator.
00:24:04 But he...you know he ran for president, right?
00:24:07 He just didn't have the guts to announce it.
00:24:09 He ran for president,
00:24:11 and he was mired at 1% for a few months,
00:24:14 making really nasty...he's a nasty guy,
00:24:16 making nasty comments.
00:24:18 And then he decided he wasn't going to run.
00:24:22 So he said, "Well, I've decided not to run."
00:24:24 Well, he ran for like four months he was running.
00:24:26 But again, it takes courage.
00:24:28 You know, say what you want about these other people.
00:24:30 Some of them shouldn't be running because it's a joke.
00:24:33 But, you know, say what you want about them.
00:24:35 It takes courage to run. It does.
00:24:37 It takes courage. It's not an easy thing to do.
00:24:40 But this guy could have been a senator.
00:24:42 It would have made a tremendous difference.
00:24:44 Instead, they lost that race by a very close race.
00:24:46 But they lost that race.
00:24:48 But he could have been so easy. He could have been there.
00:24:50 Because he's not presidential material.
00:24:52 And he could have been there for a long time.
00:24:54 And it would have made a big difference in the Senate.
00:24:56 But he didn't do that.
00:24:58 And people have to get...
00:25:00 The Republican Party, they have to get unified,
00:25:03 and they have to get smart.
00:25:05 They have to get smart.
00:25:07 Because say what you want about the Democrats.
00:25:09 They have a horrible policy.
00:25:11 You know, let's have open borders
00:25:13 where millions and millions of people come in illegally
00:25:15 into our country from prisons
00:25:17 and from mental institutions and terrorists.
00:25:20 Think of their policies.
00:25:22 All electric cars. They don't go far.
00:25:24 You know where you can...
00:25:26 You can't get out of New Hampshire in an electric car.
00:25:28 "Where are you going?" "I'm going to Massachusetts."
00:25:30 Well, you better get yourself a gas turbine,
00:25:33 because this car's not going to get you there.
00:25:36 Well, you could if you stop about four times.
00:25:39 "No, I want to go to Massachusetts, darling."
00:25:42 "I'm sorry, you can't do it. You're about, you know, 12 miles away."
00:25:45 The whole thing is crazy.
00:25:47 You know, they want to also...
00:25:49 But we have a little time. You know, this is a nice day.
00:25:51 (cheers and applause)
00:25:53 You screwed up my whole day
00:25:55 by putting this in the middle of the day.
00:25:57 So you can't do anything in the morning
00:25:59 'cause you don't have time.
00:26:01 You can't do anything in the evening.
00:26:03 So tonight, I'm going to the UFC fight at Madison Square Garden.
00:26:07 Dana White.
00:26:09 You know Dana White? The great Dana White.
00:26:11 Here's a guy I'd like to make my defense chief.
00:26:15 I wouldn't call him my defense chief.
00:26:17 I'd call him my offense chief.
00:26:20 He'd be my offense chief.
00:26:22 But he's done a great job. But, no, I'm going there tonight,
00:26:24 so at least you left me enough time for that.
00:26:27 But, you know, it's really a tribute.
00:26:30 Here we are on a beautiful day.
00:26:33 Beautiful day in New Hampshire, and you have a crowd,
00:26:35 and you have thousands of people outside that couldn't get in.
00:26:37 I said, "Did you put up a screen for them?"
00:26:39 They said, "No."
00:26:41 Now, you don't care about that, but they do, okay?
00:26:43 You got the better real estate.
00:26:45 But as president, I will restore
00:26:47 American strength, power, and prestige,
00:26:49 and I will make your country safe.
00:26:53 I will be the peacemaker.
00:26:55 You know, the peacemaker is okay.
00:26:57 Hillary Clinton, during one of the debates,
00:26:59 she said, "Look at him. Look at him.
00:27:01 He's a warmonger."
00:27:03 She's the one that always wanted war.
00:27:05 It's the strangest people want war.
00:27:07 You look at her. What the hell's war?
00:27:09 I remember when LeBron James endorsed her.
00:27:11 It was the greatest endorsement I've ever seen.
00:27:15 Because he got on stage, and she got up,
00:27:17 and she was like here, around here.
00:27:21 And I said, "That's not looking good.
00:27:24 That's not looking good." I love that endorsement.
00:27:27 She can have them.
00:27:29 Under Biden, our adversaries see the weakness
00:27:32 and the foolishness of America's leaders,
00:27:34 the stupidity, actually.
00:27:36 And, you know, like this whole electric car mandate.
00:27:40 Can you believe it? The cars, they're too expensive.
00:27:43 I say very easily defined.
00:27:45 It's so simple, though. I say, "Let's do a little bit
00:27:47 more sophistication."
00:27:49 They're too expensive, and they don't go far.
00:27:52 What else can you say?
00:27:54 You know, it's true.
00:27:56 President Xi sits across the table from Crooked Joe.
00:27:59 Can you imagine President Xi's, like, central casting?
00:28:02 There's nobody in Hollywood that can play the role
00:28:05 of President Xi. The look, the strength, the voice.
00:28:08 "We will begin immediately negotiation."
00:28:12 And I say, I say, "Loosen up."
00:28:15 I say, "Loosen up."
00:28:17 I had a great relationship with him until COVID.
00:28:19 Then I said, "That's the end of that."
00:28:21 But I did. It's good to have a good relationship
00:28:23 with Putin and Xi and all these people.
00:28:25 They're all about the nuclear weapons.
00:28:27 And Kim Jong-un I had a good relationship with.
00:28:29 He's a tough, smart guy.
00:28:31 You know, when I call these people smart,
00:28:33 the press always says, "He said he was smart."
00:28:36 I'm supposed to say they're not intelligent people.
00:28:39 President Xi in China controls 1.4 billion people
00:28:43 with an iron hand, no drug problems.
00:28:46 You know why they have no drug problems?
00:28:48 Death penalty for the drug dealers.
00:28:51 Death penalty, right?
00:28:53 You want to solve your drug problem,
00:28:56 you have to institute a meaningful death penalty
00:28:58 for drug dealers.
00:29:00 A drug dealer, and by the way, you have it worse
00:29:02 than any other state proportionately.
00:29:04 I don't understand New Hampshire for whatever reason.
00:29:07 You have a worse drug problem per capita
00:29:10 than any other state.
00:29:12 Nobody's explained that.
00:29:14 Maybe you talk to the governor about that also,
00:29:16 by the way. Why is that?
00:29:18 You have the worst drug problem per capita
00:29:20 in the entire nation.
00:29:22 You have an unbelievable fire department
00:29:24 and police department.
00:29:26 They do such a good job.
00:29:28 They spend most of their time saving people
00:29:31 from overdoses and other things.
00:29:33 Your police here and your fire here are incredible.
00:29:37 I have to tell you.
00:29:39 [cheers and applause]
00:29:41 I met a lot of them backstage.
00:29:43 I said, "They spend a lot of their time.
00:29:45 "They spend almost most of their time on that,
00:29:47 but they're incredible, the job."
00:29:49 Yeah, you ought to talk to your governor about that
00:29:51 because I think that's something that--
00:29:53 something should happen.
00:29:55 But you ought to really stop it.
00:29:57 You know, when I was in the White House,
00:29:59 I would set up blue-ribbon committees,
00:30:01 and I'd get socialists.
00:30:03 Everybody wanted to be on committees, right?
00:30:05 You know, they'd call in from Park Avenue,
00:30:07 from Fifth Avenue in New York.
00:30:09 "Oh, I'd love to be on the committee, any committee."
00:30:11 "Well, we're going to put you on a blue-ribbon committee
00:30:13 "on stopping drugs and drug abuse
00:30:15 "and stopping the caravans from going,
00:30:17 "'Oh, that's-- what's a caravan?'"
00:30:19 They had no idea.
00:30:21 And they'd sit around, very prestigious people,
00:30:23 and they'd talk for a little while,
00:30:25 and then they'd get onto society and social
00:30:27 and where are you going to be tonight.
00:30:29 "I'm going to be dining at Le Cirque tonight."
00:30:31 But, you know, they'd go into--
00:30:33 and it's not the way-- you can't do it.
00:30:35 The only thing they understand is force.
00:30:37 And if you want to stop your problem--
00:30:39 and you have the single biggest problem in the country,
00:30:41 from what I see, in New Hampshire--
00:30:43 I don't know why--
00:30:45 proportionately,
00:30:47 you need the death penalty.
00:30:49 If you give the death penalty to drug dealers,
00:30:51 you will have no more problem.
00:30:53 You will have no more problem.
00:30:55 You know, we cut it down 21%.
00:30:57 And that was great.
00:30:59 I did that without doing this.
00:31:01 When I was in China--
00:31:03 and I told this story a couple of times,
00:31:05 maybe you've heard it,
00:31:07 but I was with President Xi, a strong man,
00:31:09 and I said, "You don't have a drug problem?"
00:31:11 "No, we don't have no drug problem.
00:31:13 "We don't have drug--"
00:31:15 He looked at me like, "What the hell? Of course I don't."
00:31:17 1.4--think of it--
00:31:19 1.4 billion people, no drug problem.
00:31:21 I said, "What do you attribute that to?"
00:31:23 He said, "Quick trial."
00:31:25 I said, "Quick trial? What's quick trial?"
00:31:27 "We give quick trial!
00:31:29 "We give very quick trial to drug dealers.
00:31:32 "If somebody's selling drugs, we give them a one-day--
00:31:35 "it's a one-day trial. They give them a trial.
00:31:37 "And if they're guilty,"
00:31:39 which I would say probably 120% of the time they're guilty--
00:31:43 they're guilty approximately 120% of the time,
00:31:47 "but they execute,
00:31:49 "and they have the death penalty for drug dealers."
00:31:52 So now if you're a drug dealer, you'll say,
00:31:54 "You know, I think I'm going to take a pass
00:31:57 "on this particular country. Let's go to the United States,"
00:31:59 where they don't even give you a summons, right?
00:32:02 They don't even--they don't do anything.
00:32:04 And that's why we have the problem.
00:32:06 If you want to do the real job, and a lot of people--
00:32:09 I just don't know if our country's ready for it,
00:32:11 but what could be worse than losing, I think, 300,000, 350,000?
00:32:15 You know, you don't hear those numbers.
00:32:17 They always say 100,000.
00:32:19 They've been saying 100,000 people for the last, what, 15 years, would you say?
00:32:22 "It's 100,000." "Oh, yes, we'll lose 100,000."
00:32:24 That's a lot of people.
00:32:26 That you take your largest stadium and you fill it up twice, right?
00:32:29 No good.
00:32:31 "But it's 100,000," they say. "But even if it was 100..."
00:32:34 But it's not. It's 350,000 people you're losing,
00:32:37 and you're destroying your homes.
00:32:39 You ever see what happens to a family, a father, a mother,
00:32:42 when they lose their son or their daughter to drugs?
00:32:45 That family is destroyed.
00:32:47 Ten years later, they're destroyed.
00:32:49 It can never be the same.
00:32:51 And these people do it.
00:32:53 The average drug dealer kills 500 people a year. Think of it.
00:32:57 The average drug dealer, over the course of his or her life,
00:33:01 will kill 500--and I think that's a low number,
00:33:03 but they say kills 500 people a year.
00:33:07 And they don't mention the families that are destroyed
00:33:10 to go along with their children,
00:33:12 and seniors and everything else that are killed.
00:33:14 I mean, a lot of people are killed,
00:33:16 but you think of it in terms of young people.
00:33:19 But the average one kills 500.
00:33:21 So why wouldn't you do the death penalty?
00:33:24 It's actually humane, if you think about it.
00:33:26 Why wouldn't you do it?
00:33:28 As Singapore does the death penalty,
00:33:30 they have no drugs whatsoever. No drugs whatsoever.
00:33:32 Other countries do it. Many countries do it.
00:33:35 They have no drugs whatsoever.
00:33:37 And we're becoming a drug haven.
00:33:39 You know, China many years ago was being taken over
00:33:42 by much smaller countries
00:33:44 because they were all drugged out on the poppy fields--
00:33:47 the poppy, the drugs, heroin, different drugs.
00:33:50 But they were all drugged out. The nation was drugged out.
00:33:53 And then along came a very powerful leader.
00:33:56 You know who that is?
00:33:58 And he said, "No more."
00:34:00 And from that time pretty much until now,
00:34:03 they've been strong, but they were all drugged out,
00:34:07 and they were--I mean, our nation's becoming that way.
00:34:11 Okay? Our nation's becoming that way.
00:34:14 You look at our nation, it's--
00:34:16 you almost say, "How does it survive
00:34:18 when so many people are absolutely sick
00:34:22 from drugs and drug overdose
00:34:25 and all of the things that go with it?"
00:34:28 Our nation--remember, China was taken over
00:34:31 by many different forces,
00:34:34 much smaller, much weaker than them.
00:34:36 Now they're strong.
00:34:39 But our nation's not so much different.
00:34:42 We have a large percentage of our people
00:34:45 are drugged out and won't help us
00:34:49 in terms of making America great again.
00:34:51 We have to help them, and we should help them.
00:34:54 But we could stop this scourge if we would do it properly.
00:34:57 And just out of curiosity-- it's interesting.
00:34:59 We're all friends.
00:35:01 The death penalty--sounds harsh.
00:35:04 Thank you very much.
00:35:06 But the death penalty--you know, it's funny.
00:35:09 They say, "Oh, he's conservative."
00:35:11 It's not that I'm conservative. I have common sense.
00:35:14 You know, I want to have a border.
00:35:16 We want to have free elections.
00:35:19 We want to have low interest rates.
00:35:21 We want to have school choice.
00:35:23 We don't want to have men playing women's sports.
00:35:27 [cheers and applause]
00:35:29 How about that one?
00:35:31 You see a field hockey sport the other day,
00:35:37 and they had a man went in, and he hit a shot so hard
00:35:40 it knocked a girl's whole thing.
00:35:42 Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
00:35:44 The ball--the thing was going, like,
00:35:46 three times what they would expect.
00:35:49 And there are many, many stories.
00:35:51 The weightlifting records are being beaten
00:35:53 by hundreds of pounds.
00:35:55 They're setting records.
00:35:57 It's actually very demeaning to women.
00:35:59 And you know, the amazing thing is that women
00:36:01 and people even on the teams,
00:36:03 they don't want to talk about it
00:36:05 because these radical left people
00:36:07 have everybody spooked, you know?
00:36:09 They indicted me because I complained about an election.
00:36:12 Do you notice any difference in my tone?
00:36:14 I don't think so.
00:36:16 No, I've gotten even more so
00:36:18 because it was a crooked election.
00:36:20 And look what happened to our country.
00:36:22 Look what happened to our country.
00:36:24 So I was just going to ask you,
00:36:26 so death penalty sounds very bad,
00:36:28 and who wants a death penalty,
00:36:30 but you're never going to solve the problem, never.
00:36:32 Blue-ribbon committees and all of these crazy things,
00:36:35 even if they got tough with law enforcement,
00:36:38 that's not going to solve the problem, not even close.
00:36:41 So let's have a vote.
00:36:43 Who would be in favor of the death penalty?
00:36:46 Now, wait, don't go yet,
00:36:48 knowing that it will solve the problem.
00:36:50 It's not like, "Oh, gee, do you think it will?"
00:36:52 No, they'll head to another country, they'll do something.
00:36:54 But that's what they do.
00:36:56 They head to... from China.
00:36:58 They left for New York City and other places, okay?
00:37:02 So let's go. Death penalty, no death penalty.
00:37:04 So who would be in favor of the death penalty to solve?
00:37:08 (cheers and applause)
00:37:10 And just out of curiosity, who would not be in favor?
00:37:18 'Cause it's harsh. Who would not be?
00:37:20 Okay, I can understand it. Look, I can understand it.
00:37:22 But I see one hand out of thousands of people.
00:37:25 (laughter)
00:37:26 Are you a liberal?
00:37:28 (laughter)
00:37:29 No! Okay, I understand it.
00:37:31 It's a tough... it's a tough thing.
00:37:33 And you know what happens?
00:37:35 They can get it wrong, too.
00:37:37 They can get it wrong, and they can abuse the system.
00:37:39 I've been abused.
00:37:41 A lot of the people in this room have been abused.
00:37:43 They can abuse... they can abuse the system.
00:37:46 But I see one hand.
00:37:48 Let me do that again, 'cause that's what...
00:37:50 Who would be opposed to bringing in the death penalty?
00:37:54 You would? It's okay.
00:37:56 Seriously, don't be afraid. Nobody's gonna...
00:37:58 We're not... we're not the Democrats
00:38:00 where they're gonna put you in jail because you speak up.
00:38:03 Who would be opposed? I see three hands.
00:38:06 I see one hand of a person down there.
00:38:08 She's going like this,
00:38:10 meaning she doesn't know, right?
00:38:12 She has... she sort of likes it, but it's a big step.
00:38:16 So I see three and a half, okay?
00:38:18 How about back here? Who would be opposed?
00:38:20 Who would be opposed?
00:38:22 All right, so you're probably talking 1%, you know.
00:38:25 I mean, if you think about it, that's pretty amazing.
00:38:27 That's a real poll.
00:38:29 Now, the government, if they did that poll,
00:38:31 they'd charge a million dollars for it.
00:38:33 It wouldn't be as accurate. You know that, right?
00:38:35 We did it in about two minutes.
00:38:37 (cheering)
00:38:39 But if you want to solve the drug problem
00:38:42 in the United States, you really solve it,
00:38:44 you have to bring back the death penalty for drug dealers.
00:38:47 That's what you have to do.
00:38:49 And you'll solve it.
00:38:51 So whether you're a Democrat, a Republican, or independent,
00:38:55 if you don't want your sons and daughters
00:38:58 drafted to fight and die in distant foreign lands
00:39:01 that many of you have never even heard of,
00:39:03 if you don't want your nation wrecked,
00:39:05 if you don't want your economy destroyed,
00:39:07 if you don't want American blood and American treasure
00:39:10 squandered in a needless global war, you see it.
00:39:14 They never end. They go for years.
00:39:16 21, 22 years.
00:39:18 And Afghanistan, think of it, 21 years.
00:39:20 21 years. Too bad it carried out that long.
00:39:23 We were going to get out of Afg--
00:39:25 We were coming out of Afghanistan.
00:39:27 You know, I'm the one that got it down to 2,500 troops.
00:39:30 But I was going to keep Bagram.
00:39:32 You know, Bagram is one of the biggest air bases in the world.
00:39:36 Cost us billions of dollars years ago,
00:39:38 billions and billions of dollars.
00:39:40 Has the biggest, most powerful runways,
00:39:42 meaning the thickest concrete of any place.
00:39:44 I think it's 8 feet.
00:39:46 You know, I used to go-- When I was building,
00:39:48 I'd like to go 4 inches, and I'd negotiate,
00:39:51 maybe we can do it for 3 1/2.
00:39:53 These things are many feet thick.
00:39:55 Most powerful, most powerful runways and everything else.
00:39:59 And they gave it back. They gave it all back.
00:40:03 But you have to really--
00:40:05 You have to put people that know what to do.
00:40:08 And if you want to get back to where we have to go,
00:40:11 you have to vote for a gentleman named Donald J. Trump.
00:40:14 That's all I can say.
00:40:16 That's all I can say.
00:40:18 [cheers and applause]
00:40:19 We'll turn it around fast.
00:40:21 [cheers and applause]
00:40:26 You know, somebody said, "Oh, but he'll be there for 4 years.
00:40:29 He'll be there for 4 years."
00:40:31 And somebody else could be there for 8 years.
00:40:33 Let me tell you, 8 years.
00:40:35 If it takes 8 years, you don't want that person, okay?
00:40:37 I said that. As soon as I said that,
00:40:39 they never used that line of crap anymore.
00:40:41 They said, "I can be there for 8 years, and I'll solve--"
00:40:44 And then they realized that.
00:40:47 I said, "How about 6 months?"
00:40:49 Because most of this will be solved in 6 months.
00:40:53 Some of it sooner.
00:40:55 We'll be drilling a lot sooner than that.
00:40:58 [cheers and applause]
00:41:02 For 4 straight years under the Trump administration,
00:41:05 I kept America safe.
00:41:07 I kept Israel safe.
00:41:09 I kept Ukraine safe.
00:41:10 He would have never gone in.
00:41:12 I mean, I did it through osmosis.
00:41:14 I was safe. He was never gonna go in.
00:41:16 And I kept the whole world safe.
00:41:18 It's like Victor Orban said,
00:41:20 "Great, great, smart, tough man, but a real leader."
00:41:24 He said he kept the whole world-- the whole world was safe.
00:41:26 We didn't have any of these problems.
00:41:28 Think of it. Go back 3 years.
00:41:30 We didn't have any of these problems.
00:41:32 And we had the greatest economy in our history.
00:41:35 I completely obliterated the ISIS territorial caliphate.
00:41:40 Completely wiped out ISIS.
00:41:44 And it was supposed to take, you know--
00:41:46 To wipe out ISIS, you know that.
00:41:48 It was supposed to take years. I was told years.
00:41:51 And we--I went to Iraq.
00:41:54 I met with the generals.
00:41:56 I found a couple of generals I thought were fantastic.
00:41:59 I was told it would take 4 years,
00:42:01 and we maybe couldn't do it.
00:42:03 And I said, "How long, General?"
00:42:05 You know who the general is, right?
00:42:07 Raisin Cane, General Raisin Cane.
00:42:09 I said, "I love you. If your name is Raisin Cane,
00:42:11 that's what I'm looking for.
00:42:13 I want General Raisin Cane working for me.
00:42:17 I love Raisin Cane."
00:42:19 But then I said to him, "What's your name, General?"
00:42:23 He said, "My name is Cane, sir, Cane."
00:42:26 I said, "What's your first name, Raisin?"
00:42:28 [laughter]
00:42:29 I said, "Raisin."
00:42:31 That's what they call me, sir, Raisin Cane.
00:42:33 I said, "Is that because you raised Cane?"
00:42:35 "I guess that's what they mean, sir."
00:42:37 I said, "General, I think I'm going to like you."
00:42:40 [laughter]
00:42:41 And I said to him,
00:42:43 "How long will it take you to knock out ISIS?"
00:42:46 I went--I actually flew there.
00:42:48 Extreme bravery when I did that
00:42:51 because I had to fly in Air Force One.
00:42:53 We had a dock in our windows.
00:42:55 They said, "Sir, we're going to have to.
00:42:57 We're flying over enemy territory."
00:42:59 Think of it.
00:43:00 We're there for 21 years with the best equipment in the world
00:43:02 that we still have to dock in our windows to fly in.
00:43:05 But I figured, "Let's do it."
00:43:08 And they turned off all the lights
00:43:10 inside and outside of the plane.
00:43:12 I went up to the cockpit,
00:43:14 and I saw people that were better looking than Tom Cruise, okay?
00:43:19 Because, you know, when you fly the President,
00:43:21 they have the best.
00:43:22 They take that best of the Air Force, the best of the--
00:43:24 I mean, they take only the best.
00:43:26 They're like Central Casting.
00:43:27 They could be movie stars.
00:43:28 In fact, if I was ever an agent,
00:43:30 I'd just hire these people, I'd make a fortune.
00:43:33 Boom, crew cut.
00:43:35 And I see the captain, I say, "How you doing, Captain?"
00:43:39 "I'm doing fine, sir."
00:43:41 "We'll be there, sir, in about 20 minutes."
00:43:43 I said, "Captain, I don't see any lights outside.
00:43:46 I don't see any lights in your cockpit.
00:43:48 I don't see anything."
00:43:49 "Sir, we're just fine, sir."
00:43:51 And he's surrounded by people that looked as good as him.
00:43:54 I said, "Am I in a movie?"
00:43:57 No, we don't have people like--
00:43:59 they don't look like that in Hollywood.
00:44:02 I say, "He's Tom Cruise."
00:44:04 I'm not insulting short people.
00:44:08 I said, "This guy's Tom Cruise, but much taller."
00:44:11 Okay?
00:44:12 Then he goes, "Sir, we'll be there in 15 minutes."
00:44:16 I say, "Captain, that sounds great to me."
00:44:18 And I'm going, "Ah."
00:44:19 Because I haven't seen-- there's nothing.
00:44:22 And there are a lot of people back there.
00:44:23 You know, they have operators.
00:44:24 They have this.
00:44:25 They have engineers.
00:44:26 I never saw so many people on a plane
00:44:27 before operating a plane, but it's Air Force One,
00:44:29 so, you know, you say, "That's okay."
00:44:31 That's not our big problem.
00:44:32 We have other problems.
00:44:34 But they're all really fantastic,
00:44:35 and they're really the top of the line,
00:44:37 top in the world.
00:44:38 So we're coming in.
00:44:39 We're 15 minutes away, and he then says,
00:44:42 "Sir, we'll be 10 minutes, and we'll be landing."
00:44:44 I say, "I still don't see any lights at all."
00:44:47 And I do that.
00:44:48 I like to sit with pilots and land planes.
00:44:50 You know, I have a nice plane,
00:44:51 and I sit sometimes with pilots.
00:44:53 It's beautiful to watch.
00:44:54 And so now we're 5 minutes away,
00:44:58 and you have a machine that has a voice of a machine,
00:45:01 but it actually sounds like a human,
00:45:03 but the most beautiful voice you've ever heard.
00:45:05 And it talks to you as you're landing.
00:45:07 It tells you what's going on.
00:45:09 Very standard.
00:45:10 It's, you know, the highest-grade equipment.
00:45:12 Then I hear, "1,000."
00:45:15 That means 1,000 feet.
00:45:17 1,000 feet's very--
00:45:18 a big plane like that, that's very low.
00:45:20 [laughter]
00:45:21 That's like a 10-story building.
00:45:23 That's not very high, right?
00:45:24 And we're flying over like desert.
00:45:27 I hear, "1,900, 800," you know,
00:45:33 as it's going down, it's going down like this.
00:45:36 And everything's fine. It's going down.
00:45:37 But I don't see any lights.
00:45:38 You know, usually you see lights.
00:45:40 You see LaGuardia.
00:45:41 You see Kennedy Airport.
00:45:43 And you see lights in the distance,
00:45:44 and you think, "Isn't that a beautiful sight?"
00:45:46 Well, we're going down, and I didn't see a damn light.
00:45:49 They have all the lights turned.
00:45:51 And they said, "600, 500."
00:45:56 It's an incredible voice, a computer voice,
00:45:58 but it's so perfect.
00:46:01 "400."
00:46:02 I said, "Captain, are we okay?"
00:46:04 [laughter]
00:46:06 I'm sort of taking my--
00:46:08 I'm trying to pretend I'm fine.
00:46:11 But I don't see a light, and I got these guys,
00:46:14 and they're up there, and they're confident.
00:46:16 They're confident.
00:46:17 They said, "Sir, we're just fine, sir."
00:46:19 "So we'll be landing in about a minute, sir."
00:46:22 "A minute?"
00:46:24 Goes, "300, 200."
00:46:27 I still--there's not a light.
00:46:29 It's dark.
00:46:31 And I think there wasn't even a moon out that night.
00:46:35 "200, 100."
00:46:37 I'm 100 feet above the ground.
00:46:39 I see nothing.
00:46:42 And then you hear, "Pwa, pwa, pwa."
00:46:45 You know, we land.
00:46:46 I say, "It's a miracle."
00:46:48 And you know what I said?
00:46:50 I said to my staff right after I landed,
00:46:52 "Am I allowed--" 'cause I showed great bravery.
00:46:54 I thought, "Am I allowed to give myself
00:46:56 the Congressional Medal of Honor?"
00:46:58 [laughter]
00:46:59 I want to give myself 'cause I showed great bravery.
00:47:02 [cheers and applause]
00:47:05 I said, "Give me a towel. Give me a towel."
00:47:09 No, I showed great bravery.
00:47:10 No, they said, "That wouldn't be a good idea."
00:47:11 I'm only kidding.
00:47:12 You know what happens now?
00:47:13 The press will take that, and they'll say, "He decided--"
00:47:15 I had that, actually.
00:47:16 I told this story once before.
00:47:17 I'd say, "The press said he wanted to give himself
00:47:20 the Congressional Medal of Honor."
00:47:22 [laughter]
00:47:24 So you can't be too sarcastic with these people
00:47:26 'cause they know we're having a little fun,
00:47:28 and if you can have fun nowadays, it's not a lot of fun.
00:47:32 But the press actually reported me for saying
00:47:34 I wanted the Congressional Medal of Honor.
00:47:37 Can you believe it?
00:47:38 For myself.
00:47:39 Because they're fake news.
00:47:41 [cheers and applause]
00:47:43 Oh, yeah, they're--
00:47:46 I got a couple of beauties up there.
00:47:48 That story--that story will be told tomorrow.
00:47:52 And the highlight of the story is that I demanded
00:47:55 the Congressional Medal of Honor.
00:47:57 I guarantee it.
00:47:58 So when you read it, just go, "Fake news."
00:48:01 Anyway.
00:48:02 But I came out, and the doors opened,
00:48:04 and I'm greeted by this good-looking group of people--
00:48:09 a staff sergeant, a drill sergeant--
00:48:12 he looked like a piece of granite--
00:48:15 a general, another general, a colonel,
00:48:18 group of people on the bottom.
00:48:20 I go down, and that's when I met General Raising Cane.
00:48:26 He was the boss.
00:48:28 And they all said, "Great to meet you."
00:48:31 I shook their hands.
00:48:32 "Sir, would you like to rest?"
00:48:33 You know, it's a long trip, like 20 hours.
00:48:36 I said, "No, I don't have to rest."
00:48:38 Now, if Biden were president at that time, I'd say--
00:48:41 you know what he'd do?
00:48:42 He'd rest for about four days.
00:48:44 Then they'd turn around.
00:48:45 "Did you meet the president?"
00:48:46 "No, he was sleeping the whole time."
00:48:49 He spent three days sleeping, and then he turned around
00:48:51 and went back and went immediately into the beautiful bedroom
00:48:54 of Air Force One and went to sleep.
00:48:56 This is not what we're supposed to have for a president.
00:48:58 So I went down.
00:48:59 He said, "Sir, would you like to rest?"
00:49:01 I said, "I don't need to rest. Let's go."
00:49:03 So we start a meeting.
00:49:05 And I said, "How do we defeat ISIS?"
00:49:08 We've been fighting them for 21 years.
00:49:10 We have the best equipment in the world.
00:49:12 They hardly have equipment.
00:49:13 They are great fighters, by the way, great fighters.
00:49:15 They're natural fighters.
00:49:16 That's what they do.
00:49:17 For 2,000 years, they fight.
00:49:19 They come down from the mountain.
00:49:20 They can live in a crevice in the mountain.
00:49:22 Don't forget, you know, you look at what they've won.
00:49:25 It's amazing.
00:49:26 But they've--these are great fighters.
00:49:28 "How do we defeat these guys?"
00:49:29 And he said, "We can do it."
00:49:32 I said, "How long would it take you?"
00:49:33 Now, I was told four years by a couple of our television generals in Washington.
00:49:39 Is Millie a beauty?
00:49:42 But I was told it would take four years.
00:49:44 "Sir, it would take four years."
00:49:46 Very big effort.
00:49:47 So I asked General Raising Cane.
00:49:51 I said, "General, how long would it take to do it?"
00:49:53 "Sir, we can do it in four weeks, and I think we'll have time left over."
00:49:57 I said, "Wait a minute."
00:50:00 For years--not me, everybody--
00:50:04 you were hearing four, five, six years is very hard to do.
00:50:07 And now I have a guy sitting there that truly is central casting.
00:50:11 And I'm sitting here, and he's saying, "I can do it in four weeks, and he'll have time left over."
00:50:17 So I say, "How do you do that?"
00:50:18 He says, "Well, sir, when they came in from Washington--you know Mattis, General Mattis, General Millie, real beauties.
00:50:28 General Millie is the one that decided to take the soldiers out first, okay?
00:50:32 General Millie is the one that said, "Let's leave $85 billion worth of equipment behind
00:50:37 because it's cheaper than taking it out.
00:50:39 It's cheaper than putting a tank of nice, clean fuel in the airplane
00:50:46 and flying it to Pakistan or flying it all the way home.
00:50:49 It's cheaper to leave it there."
00:50:50 We left them brand-new planes, brand-new helicopters, thousands of night goggles,
00:50:55 better than the ones we have. These are brand-new, never used in boxes.
00:50:59 700,000 rifles. 700,000 rifles.
00:51:06 70,000 vehicles, trucks, cars, many of them armor-plated,
00:51:12 many of them costing over a million dollars a piece, armor-plated.
00:51:16 And this is what we left.
00:51:19 So I said to him, I said, "General, so how can you do it so quickly?"
00:51:23 I'd been told it would take years to--
00:51:25 He said, "Well, sir, when they came in from Washington,
00:51:28 we have to obey their superior so we're not allowed to give our ideas."
00:51:33 I said, "That doesn't sound like a good system."
00:51:35 He says, "But that's the military system.
00:51:38 They would come in and they would tell us what to do, even though we're here."
00:51:41 And when you think about it, it's incredible
00:51:44 because the people we're talking about are incompetent
00:51:46 and the people I'm talking about are unbelievable soldiers.
00:51:49 And the reason--if you'd like me to finish the story--
00:51:51 the reason I tell you this is that we have an unbelievable military.
00:51:56 Okay? We just have some really bad leaders.
00:51:59 [cheers and applause]
00:52:01 So I think it's an important story, but--
00:52:05 I said, "So, General, how are you going to do it in four weeks
00:52:07 and they can't do it in four years?"
00:52:09 He says, "Well, sir, when they came in, they would only use this base,
00:52:12 and this base is very far away." It's a big base. It's a main base.
00:52:15 We gave it to China, by the way. You know who has that base right now?
00:52:18 China, because when they left, China has the base.
00:52:21 And the reason we should have kept it--not for Afghanistan--
00:52:24 we should have kept it because it's one hour away
00:52:26 from where China makes its nuclear weapons, right?
00:52:29 So we give it up. How stupid are these people?
00:52:32 So anyway, so General Raising Cane goes,
00:52:36 "No, sir, we can do it in four weeks. We can do it very quickly."
00:52:40 I said, "So what was the problem?"
00:52:42 "Well, sir, they came in." I disagreed, but it's not for me to say.
00:52:46 "They came in, sir, and they said very strongly,
00:52:49 'We can only use the one base.'"
00:52:51 Now, the one base is very far away.
00:52:53 By the time we got there to the site,
00:52:56 we had to turn around to refuel, come back.
00:52:59 So they were going here. They had about two seconds,
00:53:02 and now head back. Let's head back.
00:53:04 And that's what we had.
00:53:06 But we have portable--what we call portable bases, sir.
00:53:09 We have a lot of portable bases.
00:53:11 We have nine of them at least already up.
00:53:13 And if we use our portable bases--I said, "Why didn't they?"
00:53:16 He said, "Well, they're located in some countries,
00:53:19 and they would consider it not politically correct."
00:53:22 "But, sir, nobody would know where the hell these planes are coming from."
00:53:26 I said, "That's probably right."
00:53:28 He said, "They're politically correct.
00:53:30 They want to be politically correct." So they didn't do it.
00:53:33 So they had seven to nine bases.
00:53:35 So I said, "Sir, what I'd do is very simple.
00:53:38 I'd leave from here, but this is the least important.
00:53:40 I'd supply from here.
00:53:42 But I'd go out to all of these auxiliary or portable bases,
00:53:46 and I'd hit them from the left.
00:53:49 And, sir, I'd hit them from the right,
00:53:51 and I'd hit them from up above,
00:53:53 and I'd hit them from right under their ass, sir."
00:53:56 And I'd hit them from so many directions,
00:53:59 they wouldn't know what the hell is happening.
00:54:02 And, sir, it'll be over very quickly.
00:54:06 I said, "I have to think about this because nobody's ever told me this.
00:54:09 Nobody's ever told me this."
00:54:11 I said, "I'll speak to you."
00:54:13 I went back to Washington, and I spoke to him on Monday or Tuesday.
00:54:17 And I said, "You still feel you can do that, General?"
00:54:19 "Absolutely, sir."
00:54:21 I said, "Go ahead and do it."
00:54:23 And he knocked the hell out of them, and he knocked them out.
00:54:26 [applause]
00:54:28 Knocked them out.
00:54:30 Less than four words.
00:54:32 [applause]
00:54:34 And then I had to give an order because there were a lot of them
00:54:37 that were cornered.
00:54:39 And he said, "Sir, we got cornered rats."
00:54:41 I said, "What do you mean, rats? They're human beings."
00:54:44 "They're not human beings, sir.
00:54:46 These people are--these are bad people, sir.
00:54:48 These are really bad people."
00:54:50 I said, "So what are you suggesting?"
00:54:53 He said, "Well, you let me know when the job will be completely finished."
00:54:57 I said, "Well, that's a lot of people you're asking me about."
00:55:00 You know, that's never been my thing.
00:55:02 I build beautiful buildings. I do other things, right?
00:55:05 I said, "That's never really been--it's a lot of people."
00:55:08 "They're not people, sir."
00:55:10 He said, "Here's what you do. Take those gorgeous F-16s
00:55:12 and fly over them for a while.
00:55:14 Keep flying over them. Get those F-24s, F-22s.
00:55:17 You fly over them.
00:55:19 And maybe you'll scare the hell out of them, and they'll surrender."
00:55:22 "They won't surrender, sir.
00:55:24 They don't know what the surrender is.
00:55:26 They don't know what a white flag is, sir.
00:55:28 They don't surrender.
00:55:30 Whether you like them or not, those son-of-a-bitches,
00:55:32 they will never, ever surrender."
00:55:34 And I said, "So what do you think?"
00:55:36 He said, "Here's what you do.
00:55:38 Spend a little time flying back and forth.
00:55:40 Let's see."
00:55:42 He said, "Yes, sir. I'll do that, sir."
00:55:44 And he did. He calls me up.
00:55:46 "Sir, what do you want me to do?"
00:55:48 "Well, did it have any impact?" "Absolutely none, sir.
00:55:50 They don't care. They're prepared to die."
00:55:52 I said, "All right, you have to finish it off."
00:55:54 He finished it off. And you know what?
00:55:56 We got rid of ISIS. 100 percent of ISIS.
00:55:59 And then I took out al-Baghdadi,
00:56:03 the leader of ISIS.
00:56:08 So I knocked out al-Baghdadi.
00:56:11 And then I also ended the life of the world's top terrorist,
00:56:16 Qassem Soleimani, the father of the roadside bomb.
00:56:21 Every one of you -- and respectfully, I love you,
00:56:25 but you, you too -- he made --
00:56:29 he was the father of the roadside bomb, the bomb.
00:56:32 And he made them bigger, bigger, bigger.
00:56:35 They kept getting bigger, bigger, and more sophisticated.
00:56:38 94 percent of the people that died
00:56:41 or had legs or arms or faces obliterated,
00:56:44 removed from their body,
00:56:47 94 percent was because of Soleimani.
00:56:50 And I took him out, too.
00:56:52 Bigger than any terrorist in the world.
00:56:56 (Applause.)
00:56:58 I went to Walter Reed on numerous occasions
00:57:01 because to see the soldiers.
00:57:03 And I've never been -- I would always say I could have never been a doctor
00:57:06 because I can't handle that stuff, right?
00:57:08 You know, I'm not -- if I see somebody with a little finger,
00:57:10 a little blood guy, I say, "Huh?"
00:57:12 (Laughter.)
00:57:13 And yet I was able to handle it so incredibly well
00:57:15 because when I looked, I don't know,
00:57:17 it was a different feeling of love or something,
00:57:19 but I would go a lot, and I'd see these soldiers come back so badly wounded,
00:57:23 so badly -- by the way, the doctors at that hospital are unbelievable,
00:57:27 what they can do.
00:57:29 But, you know, some of these lives, the lives are so bad.
00:57:32 One young man, he went to Princeton University.
00:57:34 Princeton, he was a great student.
00:57:37 He was actually, you know, family's well-to-do, I understand.
00:57:40 He wanted to spend some time as a life experience.
00:57:44 And he went to Princeton, and he got blown to pieces in his last day.
00:57:48 He got lost -- both legs, both arms, and most of his face.
00:57:52 And I walked into the room, and his parents were there grieving.
00:57:55 I've never seen anything like it.
00:57:56 They couldn't believe it.
00:57:57 You know, this kid was like this perfect handsome.
00:57:59 They have a picture of him by the bed.
00:58:01 You know, you see him, and he's so badly, horribly hurt.
00:58:06 And they have a picture of him by the bed.
00:58:09 Beautiful, handsome guy.
00:58:11 I'd love to look like that.
00:58:12 I said, "God, I'd love to look like that."
00:58:14 I told his parents.
00:58:15 I said, "Boy, this is tough, huh?"
00:58:17 He said, "We never thought this was possible."
00:58:19 He wanted this before going to work on Wall Street.
00:58:22 He was going to do this as a life experience.
00:58:25 I thought, "Life experience."
00:58:27 Another one was a great young man.
00:58:30 He was unbelievable with the roadside bombs.
00:58:33 He was the best guy at finding them.
00:58:36 And he had -- you know, we had great equipment for it.
00:58:38 We had the long -- I don't know if you've ever seen them --
00:58:40 with the long rods.
00:58:41 And they have -- on the end, they have tremendous equipment.
00:58:44 Computerized in every way, but the most incredible equipment.
00:58:48 And he had a half a day to go, and he said,
00:58:51 "Hey, I'll go with you guys into the field."
00:58:54 And he went into the field.
00:58:55 He said, "I'll go with you."
00:58:56 He's got a half a day.
00:58:57 He's coming home.
00:58:58 Got a half a day.
00:58:59 But he's friends with all these great soldiers, great people.
00:59:04 And so he spent his last half day there.
00:59:08 They're going out and they're looking for roadside bombs --
00:59:11 bombs.
00:59:12 And he got the hell blown out of them.
00:59:17 And like -- like you wouldn't -- like you wouldn't even believe.
00:59:20 Honestly, a few years before that, you could never save these soldiers.
00:59:25 What they do, the -- you know, the way -- the way they can --
00:59:29 what they can do to keep people alive today is so different
00:59:33 than it was just a few years ago.
00:59:35 It's incredible.
00:59:36 In some cases, maybe -- maybe it's not even that good a thing
00:59:39 because the lives are so horribly destroyed.
00:59:42 But he went in and he was searching.
00:59:45 And what happened is Salamani was -- all of his bombs were being detected
00:59:51 by brilliant young guys and brave guys like this.
00:59:55 And he came up with a new bomb, even bigger, but more importantly,
01:00:00 every single ounce of that bomb was made out of plastic.
01:00:04 So the metal detector only detects metal.
01:00:09 Every ounce of that thing, big, was made out of what's called hardened plastic.
01:00:15 And it doesn't have to be that strong.
01:00:18 Even the screws are -- the screws are made out of plastic.
01:00:21 Everything is plastic.
01:00:23 So he's looking for metal.
01:00:26 First day, they put him in.
01:00:28 And he got blown up.
01:00:29 Most of his friends died.
01:00:31 And think of it, he could have left.
01:00:33 He didn't have to go out with them that day.
01:00:35 He went out and he lost his life.
01:00:37 It was Salamani that did that.
01:00:39 The king, the father of the roadside bomb,
01:00:42 the biggest terrorist in the world.
01:00:46 Nobody close.
01:00:47 I mean, Osama bin Laden wasn't even in that league.
01:00:52 And he's killed so many people, not only soldiers -- a lot of our soldiers,
01:00:56 a lot of soldiers -- but destroyed the lives of so many people.
01:00:59 And so many people are walking around now without legs or without arms
01:01:02 because we took him out.
01:01:04 We got him.
01:01:05 We got him.
01:01:06 The Prime Minister of Pakistan told me -- when I heard --
01:01:10 and he was a friend of mine, very handsome guy, was a great athlete --
01:01:14 and Khan, Prime Minister.
01:01:18 And I was with him.
01:01:19 He said, "I've won many awards."
01:01:21 You know, he was the number one cricket player in the world,
01:01:25 or just about number one.
01:01:26 He was like, "Take your best athlete, take a Tom Brady."
01:01:29 He was like the Tom Brady of cricket, which over there --
01:01:33 which over there is the biggest -- they don't know about football.
01:01:36 They know cricket, everything is cricket.
01:01:38 They have stadiums.
01:01:39 They built a stadium in India that holds 138,000 people.
01:01:43 It's big.
01:01:44 And he was just about the best player.
01:01:45 Celebrated all over the world, but he retired.
01:01:47 He ran for office.
01:01:48 He won as a great celebrity and athlete.
01:01:52 He said, "When I heard that Soleimani was killed," he said,
01:01:58 "I believe it was the biggest day of my life."
01:02:03 And he didn't say happiness or sadness.
01:02:06 He said, "I've never had an event so big as that."
01:02:11 And when I heard that he was killed, he was feared all over the Middle East.
01:02:15 Feared.
01:02:16 He was, as you know, from Iran.
01:02:19 And it really set them back a long time.
01:02:22 I believe that the Mullahs --
01:02:24 I believe that the leaders of Iran actually were happy about it
01:02:29 because they were afraid of him.
01:02:30 Very afraid of him.
01:02:31 I believe.
01:02:32 I may be wrong about that.
01:02:34 But the Prime Minister told me that when I heard that Soleimani was killed,
01:02:41 I walked to my house from my office,
01:02:45 and I stayed at my house and contemplated for one week.
01:02:50 I couldn't believe this happened.
01:02:51 This was the biggest event in my lifetime.
01:02:55 He said, "You have no idea."
01:02:56 And I was told that by one or two other leaders, too.
01:02:58 Something very similar.
01:03:00 And we took him out.
01:03:02 And I think that's one of the reasons that I had no problem with Iran.
01:03:07 Iran was broke when I was there.
01:03:10 Not when I started, but when I finished.
01:03:13 I told China, "If you give Iran $1 for oil" -- they have a lot of oil --
01:03:18 "if you purchase any oil, you're not doing business with the United States.
01:03:23 And any business that gets through, we're going to tariff or tax you at 100 percent."
01:03:31 So China didn't buy.
01:03:33 I mean, you can look at this.
01:03:34 You've got to look at the numbers.
01:03:35 They went down.
01:03:36 I had them down to almost nothing.
01:03:38 And by the time I left -- and then we had the election.
01:03:40 And had that election not been rigged and stolen, which it was --
01:03:45 had that election not been rigged and stolen, had the election been fair,
01:03:51 you would have never had a problem for two reasons.
01:03:54 Number one, they didn't have the money, but you would have had a deal.
01:03:57 They wanted to make a deal.
01:03:59 They were going to make a deal.
01:04:00 They were broke.
01:04:01 They said -- the other day, one of the commentators, who was not a Trump guy at all --
01:04:06 a very liberal guy -- but he said, "Whether you like him or not, Iran was --"
01:04:10 He broke them.
01:04:13 But he said they were broke.
01:04:14 They didn't have any money.
01:04:16 And you remember reading about it.
01:04:17 They couldn't give Hamas any money.
01:04:20 They couldn't give Hezbollah any money because they didn't have any money.
01:04:24 Now they've got $100 billion plus $6 billion for a wonderful deal we made on --
01:04:30 think of the deal that we made.
01:04:32 Five hostages, five hostages.
01:04:34 I said, "No."
01:04:35 But then they said, "Well, that's not all."
01:04:37 It's five and five, but they get $6 billion.
01:04:39 Think of it.
01:04:40 Just think how stupid.
01:04:41 But the $6 billion is peanuts compared to the oil.
01:04:43 You know, the $6 billion -- it plays well, it reads well, and it's simple to understand,
01:04:48 although nobody would do the deal.
01:04:50 How stupid.
01:04:51 By the way, when they made that deal, I said, "You're going to have now hostages
01:04:54 captured all over the world."
01:04:56 Because once you agreed -- you know, I did 58 hostages.
01:04:59 I got 58 people back, four of them from North Korea.
01:05:02 That's tough.
01:05:03 I got 58 hostages back for no money.
01:05:06 We never paid money.
01:05:08 [Applause]
01:05:10 Because once you pay money, you set a precedent where they're going to do it again and again
01:05:16 and again.
01:05:17 So it was a big thing.
01:05:20 And when I tell you the story about the Prime Minister -- I don't think I've told that story
01:05:24 to a large group, but I tell you about the Prime Minister.
01:05:27 He thought it was the biggest event of his life.
01:05:29 He never thought this could happen.
01:05:31 I fully rebuilt the U.S. military, created Space Force, and I was the first President
01:05:36 in decades who didn't start a war.
01:05:39 Instead, I got us out of those endless wars and brought our troops back home.
01:05:43 [Applause]
01:05:45 And with the historic Abraham Accords, I even made peace in the Middle East.
01:05:49 We had peace.
01:05:50 We got the Abraham Accords.
01:05:52 We would have had just about every country signed up within months after the election.
01:05:57 And they -- you know how many countries they've added to the Abraham Accords?
01:06:00 None.
01:06:01 Not a country.
01:06:03 Because they're incompetent.
01:06:04 Look, look, Biden is the most corrupt and most incompetent President in the history of our country.
01:06:11 [Applause]
01:06:16 And, you know, until I got indicted -- because once you get -- I get indicted for this nonsense?
01:06:21 Even every legal scholar says these indictments -- and they're not indictments.
01:06:25 They're political opponent indictments.
01:06:28 Political opponent.
01:06:29 People forget that.
01:06:30 They say, "Oh, Donald Trump is going to court."
01:06:32 No.
01:06:33 No.
01:06:34 And even the ones at a state level or a city level, he put his people -- meaning they put their people, Garland,
01:06:41 and the young woman that works right under him, who's a big friend of Weissman.
01:06:46 You know Weissman.
01:06:47 They've been after me for years.
01:06:48 And that's fine.
01:06:49 So far, they haven't done too well.
01:06:51 I became President, and they said -- man, they couldn't believe it.
01:06:55 You know, they said, "We can never let this happen again."
01:06:58 And that's what they did.
01:06:59 That's how they cheated.
01:07:00 "We can never let this happen again.
01:07:02 But we're going to have it happen.
01:07:03 This time, it's going to be the biggest election in history.
01:07:06 But we got to be careful."
01:07:07 (Applause.)
01:07:10 "We got to be careful.
01:07:11 2024 will be the biggest election in history.
01:07:15 Will be the biggest."
01:07:16 (Applause.)
01:07:20 Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, shortly after we win the President --
01:07:24 because it's we who are going to win it --
01:07:26 I'll have the horrible war between Russia and Ukraine settled.
01:07:30 It should have never started.
01:07:32 But I'll get it settled.
01:07:33 I know them both very well.
01:07:35 Good relationship with -- very good relationship with both.
01:07:38 It's got to get settled.
01:07:39 The human lives -- the number of lives being lost is far greater than what you're hearing.
01:07:44 When you see buildings like that coming down,
01:07:47 the number of lives being lost is far greater than anybody knows.
01:07:51 We'll get that settled.
01:07:53 Before I even get into the Oval Office, we will get it settled.
01:07:56 To protect our citizens from foreign threats,
01:07:59 I will build a state-of-the-art missile defense shield.
01:08:03 You know?
01:08:04 (Applause.)
01:08:06 We have a lot of crazy people out there, and they're willing to do.
01:08:09 And we actually have that technology now.
01:08:11 It's our technology, by the way.
01:08:13 But you see how it works in Israel, where they shoot down like 98 percent of the missiles.
01:08:17 They're like shooting needles in the sky.
01:08:19 It's incredible, the talent.
01:08:21 And today, really, it would be a great shot.
01:08:24 It would be better if you went to MIT than if you lift weights all day long.
01:08:27 You know?
01:08:28 But it's incredible.
01:08:30 When you see these guys in action, they're shooting down these little missiles in the sky,
01:08:35 and they shoot them down.
01:08:36 They didn't have that.
01:08:37 You know, Ronald Reagan wanted to do that,
01:08:38 but we really didn't have the technology even close then.
01:08:41 But now we have the most incredible technology.
01:08:43 Much of it is in New Hampshire, by the way.
01:08:45 You know, you have a lot of that technology right here.
01:08:48 But we're going to build a great --
01:08:50 (Applause.)
01:08:51 Remember when Russia was going crazy over it?
01:08:54 They hated the fact that we were doing it
01:08:56 because it meant they had to build much more and much more,
01:08:59 and it put a lot of pressure on Reagan.
01:09:01 Reagan was a really good president, except in trade.
01:09:03 I disagreed with him on trade.
01:09:05 But he was a very good president and had a great way about him, right?
01:09:09 He was like -- he was like your father in the White House,
01:09:12 and it was good, but he was excellent.
01:09:14 And he wanted to do that years ago, but we really didn't have the technology.
01:09:18 Today, we do.
01:09:19 And, you know, it's okay to spend a lot of money to defend.
01:09:22 If somebody goes crazy from some country,
01:09:24 if we can shoot that missile down, that's not a bad thing.
01:09:27 That's a good thing.
01:09:28 And we're creating jobs in our own country,
01:09:30 and it's jobs for things that are very important.
01:09:33 I will end Joe Biden's disastrous war on American energy
01:09:37 and unleash the most powerful economic weapon.
01:09:40 It's called drilling for oil, or, as I call it, liquid gold,
01:09:43 or, as I say sometimes, drill, baby, drill.
01:09:47 Drill, right? Drill, baby, drill.
01:09:49 (Applause.)
01:09:50 We have more liquid gold than anybody.
01:09:53 It's no wonder crooked Joe Biden and the far-left lunatics
01:09:56 are desperate to stop us by any means necessary.
01:10:00 You got to watch.
01:10:01 You know, we're going to have a lot of votes.
01:10:03 We're going to have plenty of votes.
01:10:04 The big thing that we all fear -- everybody in this room fears --
01:10:07 is the way they cheat on elections.
01:10:09 (Laughter.)
01:10:10 It's the second-most question, I think.
01:10:13 The first question I get from people -- people come up and talk,
01:10:17 and they say, "Sir, could I ask you a question?"
01:10:19 I say, "Yes." "How do you take it?"
01:10:21 That's my first question, because this isn't supposed to happen
01:10:24 to a former president who was very popular.
01:10:26 I got 75 million votes.
01:10:28 I got -- and that's their count, okay, which is a phony count.
01:10:32 But I got votes -- more votes than any sitting president in history.
01:10:36 And I went from 63 to 75.
01:10:40 That's the biggest increase.
01:10:41 There's never been a -- most presidents, like Obama,
01:10:43 got less the second time by millions.
01:10:46 Others get --
01:10:47 (Applause.)
01:10:52 Who said that?
01:10:53 Who said that?
01:10:55 And by the way, somebody else said something.
01:10:58 They said -- this man said something he shouldn't say.
01:11:01 I will defend.
01:11:02 He said, "Chris Christie is a fat pig."
01:11:05 (Laughter.)
01:11:06 You cannot say that, sir.
01:11:09 You can't.
01:11:10 Please, please take that back.
01:11:13 Please take that back.
01:11:14 No, no, no, no.
01:11:16 He said, "Chris Christie is a fat pig."
01:11:18 You cannot do that.
01:11:23 He's a tough group.
01:11:25 He's a tough group.
01:11:26 Anyway.
01:11:28 They're weaponizing.
01:11:30 You know the beauty of that?
01:11:32 He said that, and I'm correcting him.
01:11:34 But the beauty of that is the fake news.
01:11:37 You know you're not allowed to use the fat word,
01:11:39 and you're probably not allowed to use the pig word, right?
01:11:42 (Laughter.)
01:11:43 The beauty of that is that the press can't really do anything
01:11:45 because I'm defending him.
01:11:47 (Laughter.)
01:11:49 I'm defending -- they can't do anything.
01:11:51 So, you know, it's sort of interesting the way that works out.
01:11:54 They can't really write the story because I'm defending the fact
01:11:58 that you can't use the word "fat pig" when you describe Chris Grissom.
01:12:03 (Applause.)
01:12:05 He's not a fat pig.
01:12:07 For purposes of -- he is not a fat pig.
01:12:10 They're weaponizing law enforcement for high-level election interference
01:12:14 because we're beating them so badly in the polls.
01:12:18 You know, I don't know if you've been seeing the polls.
01:12:20 The polls are going through the roof.
01:12:22 And I think you like me the way you've liked me.
01:12:24 We've had a great love affair.
01:12:26 (Applause.)
01:12:27 We've had a great love affair.
01:12:29 But what you're seeing now -- what you're seeing now is something
01:12:33 that you've never seen before.
01:12:34 Now you're seeing the most incompetent people in the history of our country
01:12:38 running this country with open borders and all of the things they're doing.
01:12:43 You know, your taxes are going to go up four times.
01:12:45 Your energy prices have gone through the roof.
01:12:48 All of the inflation that would have never happened.
01:12:50 It was caused by energy.
01:12:52 With me, you were going to have low energy, so it would have --
01:12:54 you would have never had any -- we had no inflation.
01:12:57 We had the best economy in history.
01:13:00 But, you know, it's going up.
01:13:02 So when you see, it's no longer just you like me and you like my policies.
01:13:06 You like -- see what's happened to this country, the stupidity --
01:13:11 the fact that maybe, in a way, one of the most important things,
01:13:15 we're not respected anymore in the world.
01:13:17 They laugh at us.
01:13:18 They think this guy -- and again, I would have never talked about him
01:13:22 with this disrespect until they indicted me.
01:13:24 Once they indicted me, I said, I mean, it can't happen.
01:13:28 And they indicted me for nothing.
01:13:30 They indicted me -- they indicted me for criticizing the election.
01:13:34 They indicted me for things -- and virtually every legal scholar you read
01:13:38 says, how can it happen?
01:13:40 They got me in New York, where my company turned out to be a great company
01:13:45 instead of a bad company.
01:13:47 They indicted me because they said I inflated numbers,
01:13:51 and my numbers, it turned out, were extremely conservative,
01:13:54 just the opposite of what -- and now they don't know what to do.
01:13:57 And the judge is being made to look -- look, he's a radical left person,
01:14:02 and he actually accused me of something before the trial started.
01:14:09 And now it's sort of coming home to play.
01:14:11 We'll see what happens, but it's a disgrace.
01:14:14 So when they did that -- and, you know, they're using state people
01:14:17 like this AG, Letitia James.
01:14:20 She's a disaster.
01:14:24 No, she's a disaster.
01:14:26 She is grossly incompetent.
01:14:28 What she does is -- and she campaigned for a year,
01:14:32 "I will get Trump. I will get him. I will get --"
01:14:35 knowing nothing about me.
01:14:37 Her whole campaign, many candidates, she got a few votes,
01:14:40 and it was more than anybody else.
01:14:42 She becomes the attorney general of New York, right?
01:14:44 And she campaigned on this, didn't know a thing about me,
01:14:48 and then gets witnesses that have now been --
01:14:51 or they lied, the one witness, their star witness, he lied so badly,
01:14:57 they don't even know what's going to happen.
01:14:58 He totally made up the story.
01:15:00 And he admitted it.
01:15:01 It was a Perry Mason moment.
01:15:04 At the end, we're Perry Mason.
01:15:06 "Do you mean --" and then some guy walks into the courthouse.
01:15:08 He looks. He goes, "Oh, I did it. I killed him. I killed."
01:15:12 And that's the end of the show.
01:15:13 I had that live in New York last week.
01:15:17 The star witness against me lied
01:15:19 and then said all the things that he said about me are false.
01:15:23 Can you believe it?
01:15:24 So we say we want a directed verdict.
01:15:26 I won't give that to you.
01:15:28 The whole thing is crazy.
01:15:29 But you know what? The people get it.
01:15:31 And that's why our poll numbers are high.
01:15:33 I'm the only person in history that got indicted
01:15:36 that saw about a 30% rise in my poll numbers.
01:15:40 Usually --
01:15:41 [ Cheers and applause ]
01:15:43 You know, we were doing fine before.
01:15:46 Usually, you get indicted -- you're a politician.
01:15:49 You get indicted, and about within five minutes,
01:15:52 you're at a microphone.
01:15:54 I've decided I will go home to my family,
01:15:57 and I will be with my family,
01:15:58 and I will fight for my name and my reputation.
01:16:01 Okay, you know, all that.
01:16:02 And that's the end.
01:16:03 That's the last time you ever hear from the poor person.
01:16:05 With me, it's like -- I said, "How are we doing?"
01:16:08 "Sure, your poll numbers went up 14 points today."
01:16:11 You know why?
01:16:12 Because I explain it to people, and they get it.
01:16:15 This is a political opponent hitting his political opponent.
01:16:21 And it's never happened in this country before.
01:16:24 It has happened in many other countries --
01:16:26 Third World nations, Banana Republics.
01:16:29 But the people get it.
01:16:31 I mean, I have a judge in Washington, D.C.,
01:16:34 who put a gag order on me.
01:16:36 I cannot speak.
01:16:38 So if the fake news asked me a question about, like, something --
01:16:41 I cannot speak. I'm sorry.
01:16:43 How do you think that would be in a campaign?
01:16:45 You're watching.
01:16:46 "What do you think about the campaign?"
01:16:48 "I'm sorry, I can't comment."
01:16:50 She put a gag order,
01:16:51 then it's been taken off by the appellate division.
01:16:54 But you got to count them.
01:16:56 [ Cheers and applause ]
01:16:58 But think of it.
01:17:00 They do things like this, but she sets a trial date.
01:17:04 This could not be.
01:17:07 One day before Super Tuesday.
01:17:09 Now, you know, Super Tuesday is a big day.
01:17:11 Now, to me, the big day is Iowa, New Hampshire,
01:17:16 South Carolina, Nevada.
01:17:18 Because I think this whole thing might be --
01:17:21 You know, we're up about 42 points here.
01:17:23 We're up 44 points in Iowa.
01:17:26 I think 44 points --
01:17:27 How can the farmers vote against me?
01:17:29 I got them $28 billion from China.
01:17:32 Nobody else would have done that.
01:17:34 I got the farmers of Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin,
01:17:38 all these states $28 billion
01:17:41 because they were abused by China for so many years.
01:17:44 I said, "What was the number to Sonny Perdue,
01:17:46 Commissioner of Agriculture in the United States,
01:17:49 under me, good guy?"
01:17:51 He said, "About $28 billion."
01:17:52 I got the money from China out of the tariffs that I got,
01:17:56 which was many times that number.
01:17:58 I took in hundreds of billions of dollars from China.
01:18:01 I gave our farmers $28 billion.
01:18:04 Nobody can believe it.
01:18:05 Then my people say, "Please don't be so arrogant about it."
01:18:08 I say, "What's arrogant? I got them $28 --
01:18:11 They're not going to vote against me!"
01:18:12 And that's exactly what's turning out.
01:18:14 I told that to Iowa the other day, and they were all laughing.
01:18:18 But it's true.
01:18:19 I got them $28 billion that they got screwed out of by China
01:18:24 with really bad things they did to our farmers.
01:18:27 And what farmer is going to vote against me
01:18:29 for some stiff that was never for them?
01:18:33 Like tens of millions of --
01:18:35 And I'm not wearing lifts either, by the way.
01:18:38 I don't have 6-inch heels.
01:18:40 [ Cheers and applause ]
01:18:44 Actually, the greatest moment of the debate
01:18:46 when Ron was walking -- or Ron DeSanctimonious was walking
01:18:49 off the stage, and his feet -- it's weird.
01:18:53 'Cause it's cowboy boots, so they have a high heel outside,
01:18:57 but inside, you got a big deal going on.
01:19:01 And he's walking like --
01:19:03 [ Laughter ]
01:19:05 No, he's walking off the stage like he's trying to balance himself.
01:19:08 I thought he was wearing ice skates.
01:19:11 No.
01:19:12 What difference does it make, right?
01:19:14 What difference?
01:19:15 When you think about it, what difference does it make?
01:19:17 Like tens of millions of people within our nation --
01:19:20 I'm proud and strong -- election --
01:19:22 I'm a very proud election denier,
01:19:25 because unless the truth is found,
01:19:27 we will never have fair, free, and honest elections.
01:19:30 And we have to have them.
01:19:32 [ Cheers and applause ]
01:19:35 And again, for the first time in American history,
01:19:39 a sitting administration is charged its only opponent --
01:19:43 I think -- I guess you could say leading,
01:19:45 but I think it's "only."
01:19:46 I hope that's correct.
01:19:48 But its opponent with criminal offenses.
01:19:51 Think of it.
01:19:52 Now, that means that I could do that, too.
01:19:54 I'll be in the White House.
01:19:56 I don't want to do that.
01:19:57 I wouldn't do that.
01:19:59 But you know what?
01:20:00 I'll be sitting there, and they'll say,
01:20:02 "Sir, there's a Democrat who's surging."
01:20:04 I say, "Really?
01:20:06 Well, you know, they did it to me.
01:20:08 Now I can do it to them."
01:20:09 Indict him for walking across the street
01:20:13 in an improper manner.
01:20:15 And when he gets indicted, he'll go right down the tubes,
01:20:18 'cause they don't have much of a platform.
01:20:21 No, it's a very bad precedent that they're starting.
01:20:23 It's sort of like we talked about with the hostage stuff
01:20:28 where they get paid $6 billion.
01:20:31 You know, you set a precedent.
01:20:32 Well, this is a precedent that maybe, in a certain way,
01:20:34 is much worse than that.
01:20:36 I did a great job, and I got indicted.
01:20:38 I got indicted.
01:20:39 So when I say--I never used to say,
01:20:42 "He's a stone-cold crook.
01:20:44 He's the most grossly incompetent president."
01:20:46 Now I say it, and I'm saying the truth,
01:20:49 because I had too much respect for the office of president,
01:20:54 aware that its charges are bogus.
01:20:57 Think of it.
01:20:58 This was all bogus stuff.
01:20:59 The prosecution sought to proceed in secret,
01:21:02 forcing the nation and the world to rely on biased,
01:21:05 secondhand accounts coming from the corrupt
01:21:08 Biden administration and its media allies,
01:21:11 people like that.
01:21:12 You know, the funny thing, their numbers are way down,
01:21:15 and they said they had the greatest numbers
01:21:17 they've ever had during the Trump administration.
01:21:19 If I were the media--now they're all going bankrupt.
01:21:22 If I were the media, you know what I'd do?
01:21:24 I'd hope that Trump wins,
01:21:27 because during the Trump administration,
01:21:29 that was the golden four years.
01:21:31 Now they're--I just saw where the New York Times is way down.
01:21:34 They're all way down.
01:21:35 Washington Post is way down.
01:21:37 I don't even know.
01:21:38 You know, at what point do you say you could be rich,
01:21:40 but at what point, if you're going to lose $100 million a year
01:21:43 for the privilege of having a newspaper
01:21:45 that's losing that kind of money,
01:21:47 you know, at what point do you say,
01:21:48 "I'm not going to do this anymore"?
01:21:50 But the Washington Post is way down.
01:21:51 They're all down, and they were all up during my four years.
01:21:55 Now they were up with fake stories like Russia, Russia, Russia,
01:21:58 you know, the Mueller, Mueller, Mueller,
01:22:00 all the different hoaxes.
01:22:02 We had plenty of them, but they were doing great.
01:22:05 Now they're way down, you know,
01:22:08 because they're not believed anymore.
01:22:10 You know, that's the problem.
01:22:11 When I started running, they had a very high approval rating,
01:22:14 and I think it's one of the greatest things I've done.
01:22:17 I've told people that they're corrupt and they're dishonest,
01:22:20 and they have to straighten out their act
01:22:22 because people are not believing them.
01:22:24 And when you don't have a free press
01:22:26 and when you don't believe your press,
01:22:28 you've got yourself a very big problem in the country.
01:22:31 But as a result, the citizens of our great country
01:22:34 are unable to review for themselves
01:22:36 the facts of this case and show.
01:22:39 So it's so unfair, and I look at it,
01:22:43 and when you think about you got treated this way
01:22:46 by your political opponent.
01:22:47 So when you hear Trump is facing a lawsuit,
01:22:50 remember, this is a Biden lawsuit.
01:22:53 This was Biden.
01:22:55 He took his top person from the Department of Justice
01:22:58 and put him into the local New York Manhattan DA's office,
01:23:02 running it.
01:23:04 You're not even allowed to do that.
01:23:06 But they took the top person, as you know--
01:23:10 I believe the name is Colangelo--
01:23:12 they took the top person,
01:23:14 they put him into the Manhattan DA's office, Colangelo.
01:23:18 And this guy was in Washington, D.C.,
01:23:22 working for Garland, and now he's in this office
01:23:26 and even signing checks in the papers.
01:23:28 This is a terrible thing that's happened.
01:23:31 And I don't even know-- I mean, to be honest,
01:23:33 I don't even know if Biden knows.
01:23:37 But the people in his office know.
01:23:39 It's like Lisa Monaco and other people.
01:23:42 They know. They know what's going on.
01:23:44 You know, they're friends with some very bad people.
01:23:47 But it's a very bad president. It's very dangerous.
01:23:50 And again, such a thing has never happened in our country.
01:23:53 I've made clear from the outset
01:23:55 the prosecution has repeatedly denied me
01:23:57 my fundamental constitutional rights,
01:23:59 including my right to have a trial.
01:24:01 I want the trial.
01:24:03 I announced last night-- you probably saw it--
01:24:05 they said, "Sir, do you want a trial with or without cameras?"
01:24:08 Now, most people would say without.
01:24:10 I say the opposite.
01:24:12 I want this trial to be seen by everybody in the world.
01:24:15 [cheers and applause]
01:24:18 The prosecution wishes to continue this travesty
01:24:27 in darkness, and I want sunlight.
01:24:30 That's a nice way of saying it. Isn't that pretty?
01:24:32 I want sunlight.
01:24:34 I want everything exposed to the public,
01:24:36 including the election fraud,
01:24:38 and I'm not at all about election fraud,
01:24:40 which took place in 2020
01:24:42 and the 2020 presidential election
01:24:44 so that such a thing can never happen again to our country.
01:24:48 You know, we want paper ballots.
01:24:50 We want same-day voting.
01:24:52 That's what we want.
01:24:54 And we want... we don't want mail-in voting.
01:24:57 And we want one-day voting.
01:24:59 You know, these things that last for 48 days,
01:25:02 and you see them wheeling things with wheelbarrows,
01:25:05 dumping them, ballots.
01:25:08 No, what we want is we want one-day voting,
01:25:11 we want paper ballots, and we want voter ID.
01:25:14 You know, they just did it in France.
01:25:17 France had mail-in ballots.
01:25:19 Look, mail-in ballots, you know, are gonna be corrupt.
01:25:22 Even Jimmy Carter, he had a commission.
01:25:24 He said, "If you have mail-in ballots,
01:25:26 you're gonna have massive corruption,"
01:25:28 and we don't want that.
01:25:30 But every person in America is beyond
01:25:32 and should have the opportunity to study this case firsthand.
01:25:37 It should be, "Oh, this will be very good for the networks.
01:25:40 They should want it."
01:25:41 But I can tell you, the prosecutors don't want it,
01:25:43 and the judge doesn't want it, if you can believe it.
01:25:46 And they watch it, and if there's a trial--
01:25:48 because I should not even have a trial.
01:25:50 This should be thrown out long before.
01:25:52 But if there's a trial, I want everybody to see
01:25:55 all of the horrible things that took place,
01:25:58 all of the horrible charges,
01:26:01 and all of the things that were done
01:26:03 with respect to a very corrupt election.
01:26:05 And let's let the public decide,
01:26:07 because I want cameras in every inch of that courthouse.
01:26:11 [cheers and applause]
01:26:13 We've asked a judge in Washington, D.C.--
01:26:16 we've asked her--
01:26:18 to be recused because she hates me.
01:26:21 Is that a good reason? I think so, right?
01:26:24 No, the judge truly, truly hates me.
01:26:26 She is a Trump hater at the highest level,
01:26:28 so we've asked for her recusal.
01:26:30 She's denied it, and we're appealing that.
01:26:33 And we'll definitely be asking for a venue change, D.C.,
01:26:37 especially in light of the fact
01:26:39 that I want a federal government takeover of our Capitol
01:26:42 so that we can fix our Capitol.
01:26:45 It's dirty, it's filthy, it's crime-ridden.
01:26:48 People are being murdered every day.
01:26:50 It's incompetently run.
01:26:53 And I want to do that,
01:26:56 and certainly that would not be very popular
01:26:58 with a jury of residents.
01:27:00 They're not going to be thrilled.
01:27:02 We have deranged Jack Smith.
01:27:05 Have you ever heard of him? He's a lovely...
01:27:07 He's a lovely man.
01:27:09 Do you ever see him with the purple little thing?
01:27:11 He's a lovely man.
01:27:13 The Trump-hating prosecutor in the case.
01:27:15 He's, uh...
01:27:17 His wife and family despise me much more than he does,
01:27:19 and he decides... I think he's about a 10.
01:27:21 They're about a 15 on a scale of 10.
01:27:24 And he was involved...
01:27:26 You know, Jack Smith, the deranged one, I call him.
01:27:28 He was involved...
01:27:30 He's a crooked guy.
01:27:32 He was involved with the failed and very messy
01:27:34 Lois Lerner IRS scale.
01:27:36 Did you know that?
01:27:38 And the prosecution of Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell,
01:27:40 which was overturned unanimously by the Supreme Court,
01:27:43 as well as the failed prosecution
01:27:46 of presidential candidate John Edwards.
01:27:49 And he's charged...
01:27:51 What he did is horrible,
01:27:53 but they got him in.
01:27:55 They brought him back from The Hague,
01:27:57 and they said, "Go get Trump.
01:27:59 "It's a terrible thing that's happening in America."
01:28:01 But... And he's a disgrace to America.
01:28:04 They want to silence me because I know the truth,
01:28:07 and I'm not afraid to say it.
01:28:09 Their goal is intimidation of everybody at the highest level.
01:28:12 But I really don't care.
01:28:14 I don't care.
01:28:16 I just want to do what's right for the country.
01:28:18 I did this. You know, when I did this...
01:28:20 When I did this, somebody said the other day,
01:28:22 "Are you glad you did it?"
01:28:24 Because I had a hell of a life.
01:28:26 I had the most beautiful life.
01:28:28 I don't think I could do whatever I want.
01:28:30 The best properties, the best resorts.
01:28:32 I could have had the greatest time.
01:28:34 Instead, I'm here on a Saturday afternoon with you,
01:28:38 working my ass off.
01:28:40 (cheers and applause)
01:28:42 Working my ass off up here.
01:28:44 (cheers and applause)
01:28:47 (sighs)
01:28:49 No, I had a good life.
01:28:51 (chanting "Trump")
01:28:53 But I was asked a question... Thank you.
01:29:03 That's very nice. Thank you.
01:29:05 But I was asked a question, a lot, actually,
01:29:07 but I was asked this question,
01:29:09 "If you had it to do again, with all I've been through..."
01:29:12 I mean, I got indicted more than Al Capone.
01:29:14 Did you ever hear of Al Capone?
01:29:16 Scarface.
01:29:17 He was the meanest of all gangsters.
01:29:19 If he had dinner with you,
01:29:21 and you looked at him in the wrong way,
01:29:23 you looked at him like you smiled and you were mocking him,
01:29:26 you were a dead person.
01:29:28 Alphonse Capone, Scarface.
01:29:30 He got indicted one time.
01:29:32 I got indicted four times.
01:29:34 And I have other trials, too.
01:29:36 You know, I have other civil trials I have to go through.
01:29:39 This is a terrible thing.
01:29:41 Nobody's ever done it before.
01:29:43 And I must be...
01:29:44 If you had it to... You had such a great life.
01:29:46 If you had it to do again, would you do it?
01:29:48 I didn't even hesitate.
01:29:50 I said, "Absolutely, because we made America great again,
01:29:54 "and we're going to make it even greater."
01:29:57 You know, there are a lot of rich guys around
01:29:59 that didn't do much, and they... whatever.
01:30:01 But, no, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
01:30:03 People find that hard to believe.
01:30:05 And one thing I think I've kept a lot of rich people out of politics,
01:30:08 you know, I used to have guys say, "Smart guys."
01:30:11 I used to... One guy said, "Oh, I want to do it so much.
01:30:14 "I want to do it so much. I'm going to do it."
01:30:16 Very successful guy. Killer. Really successful.
01:30:19 He said, "But I have one problem."
01:30:21 I said, "What's your problem?" He said, "I have stage fright."
01:30:24 I said, "If you have stage fright, don't become a politician."
01:30:27 (laughter)
01:30:28 I think I saved him a lot of anguish.
01:30:31 But they asked me, "Would you do it again?"
01:30:33 I said, "Absolutely." I said it without even thinking.
01:30:35 "Absolutely, I would do it again, because what we did is miracles."
01:30:39 Don't forget, this is the greatest movement of all time.
01:30:41 There's never been anything like this.
01:30:43 (applause)
01:30:48 Never been anything like this.
01:30:50 There's never been a movement in probably anywhere,
01:30:53 but in this country, certainly, but probably anywhere
01:30:55 because of the importance of this country.
01:30:57 But you remember Pat Buchanan,
01:30:59 how well he did 50 years ago in New Hampshire, right?
01:31:02 And because he almost won, right?
01:31:04 He came in second, I think, right?
01:31:06 But he did very well against an incumbent.
01:31:09 And I think-- did he come in second?
01:31:11 Does anybody remember? It was a long time ago.
01:31:14 But anyway, I think he came in second.
01:31:16 And he became legendary for the rest of his life
01:31:19 and very successful and, you know,
01:31:21 one of the greatest political pundits, good man.
01:31:25 But we won every state. Think of it.
01:31:28 Every single state.
01:31:30 We came out in 2016 and just state after state after state.
01:31:34 We won you, we won South Carolina.
01:31:37 Remember, I was going to go down to South Carolina.
01:31:39 They said, "Oh, he'll never win South Carolina
01:31:41 "because Bush is very close to the military."
01:31:43 Bush did nothing for the military.
01:31:45 And then I won by, like, 70%.
01:31:48 70%.
01:31:50 And then we went up to Nevada.
01:31:52 And then we went to Florida.
01:31:54 And I had two people. I had two people.
01:31:57 I had a senator, right? And I had a governor.
01:32:00 And I had both of them.
01:32:02 And I said, "This is not good because..."
01:32:05 And they had a thing that if you win, winner take all.
01:32:09 So I said, "I don't want winner take all."
01:32:12 Because we had Bush, who was the governor.
01:32:15 We had Marco, who is the senator, sitting senator.
01:32:19 I said, "That's a lot to compete with.
01:32:21 "I don't want to do that because, you know,
01:32:23 "give us our proportion. If I'm at 10% or 5%,
01:32:26 "at least let me have that."
01:32:28 So I was all set to sue, and a poll came out,
01:32:30 and it said Trump would win Florida by 70%.
01:32:34 Marco would get 11, and Bush would get 9.
01:32:37 I said, "Stop the lawsuit immediately!
01:32:41 "Stop that lawsuit."
01:32:44 But every time the radical-left Democrats,
01:32:47 Marxists, Communists, and Fascists,
01:32:49 indict me, I consider it truly a great badge of honor.
01:32:55 [cheers and applause]
01:32:58 I'm being indicted for you.
01:33:00 I am being indicted for you.
01:33:02 Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
01:33:04 Thanks a lot. Thanks a lot, ladies.
01:33:08 Never forget, our enemies want to take away my freedom
01:33:11 because I will never let them take away your freedom.
01:33:14 [cheers and applause]
01:33:16 And in the end, they're not after me.
01:33:18 They're after you. I'm just standing in their way.
01:33:21 I'm standing in their way.
01:33:22 This is far more than a campaign.
01:33:25 This is far more than a campaign.
01:33:27 We're all involved in a great political movement,
01:33:31 the greatest such movement ever in the history of our country.
01:33:35 I mean, there's never been a movement like this,
01:33:37 not even--not even close.
01:33:39 And now it looks-- I mean, if you look at the polls,
01:33:42 we're winning-- we're winning every swing state.
01:33:45 We're winning states that nobody's even thought about.
01:33:48 After years of betrayals of New Hampshire workers,
01:33:51 together we ended the NAFTA disaster,
01:33:53 the worst trade deal ever made,
01:33:55 and replaced it with the brand-new USMCA--
01:33:58 that's Mexico and Canada-- the best trade deal ever made.
01:34:02 I appointed nearly 300 federal judges
01:34:05 and three great Supreme Court justices.
01:34:07 [cheers and applause]
01:34:08 We achieved the most secure border in U.S. history.
01:34:11 We built over 500 miles of border wall.
01:34:14 They like to say, "Oh, it was less."
01:34:16 It's not. It's much more than that.
01:34:18 And we got Mexico to give us 28,000 soldiers free of charge.
01:34:23 So when they say about Mexico,
01:34:25 I saw some guy in the debate section,
01:34:27 "Oh, Mexico gave us 28,000 soldiers."
01:34:31 They said, "They're gonna pay for the wall,"
01:34:33 but there was no mechanism for that.
01:34:35 You know, sometimes you don't have--
01:34:37 I said, "You got to give us soldiers.
01:34:39 "You got to give us-- right now,
01:34:41 we have the biggest caravans in history coming up.
01:34:43 Right now, they're coming up."
01:34:45 I got them to give us free of charge 28,000 soldiers.
01:34:48 Now, I didn't tell you-- I said to them,
01:34:50 "If you don't do that, we're gonna tariff
01:34:52 every product that you sell into the United States
01:34:55 at approximately 25%."
01:34:57 And they said, "We would love to give you those soldiers."
01:35:00 On my first day back in the Oval Office,
01:35:03 I will terminate every open borders policy
01:35:06 of the Biden administration.
01:35:08 [cheers and applause]
01:35:11 Stop the invasion.
01:35:15 We are--this is an invasion.
01:35:17 This is like a military invasion.
01:35:20 We'll stop the invasion on our southern border
01:35:23 and begin the largest domestic deportation operation
01:35:26 in American history.
01:35:28 [cheers and applause]
01:35:29 I will immediately restore and expand
01:35:32 the Trump travel ban on entry from terror-plagued countries,
01:35:36 which was a big thing.
01:35:38 You know, we had no terror during my administration.
01:35:40 The only terror we had was Nancy Pelosi,
01:35:43 who's a crazed lunatic.
01:35:45 She's a lunatic.
01:35:49 She is a crazed lunatic.
01:35:51 What the hell was going on with her husband?
01:35:53 Let's not ask. Let's not ask.
01:35:56 I'll withdraw that statement.
01:35:59 By the way, she's got a wall around her house.
01:36:01 Obviously, in that case, it didn't work very well, did it?
01:36:04 It didn't work.
01:36:06 And I'll implement strong and ideological screenings
01:36:09 for all immigrants.
01:36:11 And if you hate America, if you want to abolish Israel,
01:36:14 if you sympathize with jihadists
01:36:16 and people that hate our country,
01:36:18 because they're not getting in,
01:36:21 then we will stop,
01:36:24 because then you have to just go for the other side.
01:36:27 If you hate America, you have to go for the other side.
01:36:30 We will stop Joe Biden's inflation disaster immediately
01:36:33 and rebuild the greatest economy in the history of the world.
01:36:36 We had that.
01:36:38 And unlike Ron DeSantamonius,
01:36:40 who wants a 23% national sales tax on everybody in this room,
01:36:44 which would devastate New Hampshire,
01:36:46 would devastate your economy, would go to hell.
01:36:49 I'll give you tax cuts, regulation cuts,
01:36:52 interest rate cuts like you've never seen before.
01:36:54 You know, I gave you the largest tax cut
01:36:57 in the history of our country, larger than the Reagan tax cuts,
01:37:00 and I gave you the largest regulation cuts.
01:37:02 That's why we had the best job numbers ever.
01:37:05 I will approve pipelines and infrastructure
01:37:07 to cut through the cost of energy.
01:37:10 And, you know, if you had a pipeline
01:37:13 going through New York state,
01:37:15 your energy costs would be less than half.
01:37:17 Do you know that? And they couldn't... Do you know that?
01:37:20 You have the highest energy costs in the nation.
01:37:22 Your governor ought to work on that one, too.
01:37:25 You pay more than any other state in the nation.
01:37:28 And with a simple pipeline going through New York state,
01:37:32 your energy costs would be cut in less than half.
01:37:35 You would get all the energy you need,
01:37:37 but they can't get it done.
01:37:39 And I had it just about done until COVID came in.
01:37:41 I had it done, but I had to get Democrat approval,
01:37:44 and you would have had it,
01:37:46 but we'll get it done very quickly, very, very quickly.
01:37:48 Unlike Ron DeSanctis, the other day on NBC,
01:37:51 they said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we're pleased to have as our guest
01:37:54 "Governor Ron DeSanctis."
01:37:56 That's called great branding.
01:37:58 When you brand a guy so strong
01:38:00 that they don't even know what his name is anymore.
01:38:02 "Unlike DeSanctis, I will protect Social Security
01:38:05 "and Medicare for our great seniors."
01:38:07 He was not good on Social Security and Medicare.
01:38:10 "On day one, I'll sign a new executive order
01:38:13 "to cut federal funding of any school
01:38:15 "pushing critical race theory, transgender..."
01:38:17 (cheers and applause)
01:38:19 No, but can you believe you even have to say it?
01:38:28 "Pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity
01:38:33 "and other inappropriate racial, sexual,
01:38:36 "or political content on our children."
01:38:38 How about, "We will stop the sexual mutilation of your children"?
01:38:42 Can you believe... (cheers and applause)
01:38:44 No. Can you believe you have to say that?
01:38:48 Can you imagine if somebody got up here 15 years ago
01:38:52 and made this statement, "We will stop the sexual mutilation
01:38:54 "of your children"?
01:38:56 They'll say, "Is this guy..." No, we will stop it.
01:38:58 Can you believe this, that you have to say it?
01:39:00 "I will not give one penny to any school
01:39:03 "that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate."
01:39:06 (cheers and applause)
01:39:09 And the other thing, and I said it...
01:39:11 I alluded to it before,
01:39:13 but who would ever think that this is even a possibility?
01:39:16 "I will keep men immediately out of women's sports."
01:39:20 Can you believe it, that you have to say that?
01:39:23 It's embarrassing to say it, because people...
01:39:28 You know, people from 20 years ago,
01:39:31 if they came back 30 years ago,
01:39:33 probably 10 years ago, if they came back
01:39:35 and heard this, they'd be like, "Oh, my God,
01:39:37 "you know, if they came back and heard some of the things
01:39:39 "that I'm saying we're gonna do,
01:39:41 "they're gonna say, 'That place has really gone bad.'"
01:39:44 "I will fully uphold the Second Amendment, as I did.
01:39:49 "Not a change was made."
01:39:51 (cheers and applause)
01:39:53 "And I will continue to protect innocent life.
01:39:57 "We will restore free speech,
01:40:00 "and I will secure our elections once and for all,
01:40:03 "and we will do it... we will do it properly."
01:40:06 And in conclusion, this is what we must do
01:40:09 to restore our country to greatness.
01:40:11 The USA is a mess.
01:40:13 Israel is under attack. Our economy is cratering.
01:40:16 Inflation is totally out of control.
01:40:19 China, Russia, Iran, North Korea
01:40:22 have formed together as a menacing
01:40:24 and destructive coalition like probably
01:40:27 we've never seen before.
01:40:29 Our currency is crashing. I will.
01:40:32 And I will soon no longer... Think of it.
01:40:35 (cheers and applause)
01:40:37 It's soon going to not be the world standard
01:40:40 based on what's happening right now,
01:40:42 which will be the greatest defeat.
01:40:44 Once our currency is no longer the world standard,
01:40:47 that will be the greatest defeat
01:40:49 that we've had as a country in 200 years.
01:40:51 Then we will revert to third world status.
01:40:54 It won't happen with me, not even a little chance,
01:40:57 just like Russia would never have invaded Ukraine.
01:41:00 China would not even have thought about raiding Taiwan.
01:41:04 And the attack on Israel would never have happened,
01:41:07 would never have happened again.
01:41:09 Iran had no money. They were broke.
01:41:12 We would have left Afghanistan with dignity and strength
01:41:15 instead of our greatest embarrassment in history
01:41:18 with the loss-- and I'm so sorry--
01:41:20 but the loss of your children and your family.
01:41:23 If you took the ten worst presidents
01:41:26 in the history of the United States and added them up,
01:41:29 they would not have done near the destruction to our country
01:41:32 as Joe Biden and the Biden administration have done.
01:41:35 [cheers and applause]
01:41:38 We are a failing nation.
01:41:40 We are a nation in serious decline,
01:41:44 and now these radical left lunatics
01:41:46 want to interfere with our elections
01:41:48 by using law enforcement.
01:41:50 It's totally corrupt, and we will not let it happen.
01:41:54 If you want to save America from Crooked Joe
01:41:58 and then get every-- you have to go out.
01:42:00 You have to really do it. We have to do it.
01:42:02 You know, the one way we win, like you've never seen before,
01:42:06 we have to slam it on Election Day.
01:42:08 We have to come up with those.
01:42:10 'Cause there's a point at which their cheating can't get it done.
01:42:14 There's a point at which the cheating can't get it done.
01:42:18 So get every patriot you know
01:42:21 and get them out to deliver a massive victory in the primary.
01:42:24 But, honestly, more importantly in the election,
01:42:27 the primary-- let's get the primary done first.
01:42:29 We'll be back here many times,
01:42:31 but we got to get the primary done first.
01:42:33 So join our campaign by visiting nh.donaldjtrump.com
01:42:40 or text TRUMP to 88022.
01:42:45 Okay?
01:42:47 [cheers and applause]
01:42:48 2024 is our final battle.
01:42:53 With you at my side--
01:42:54 and you've been at my side from the beginning--
01:42:56 we will demolish the deep state.
01:42:58 We'll expel-- we're going to expel
01:43:00 those horrible, horrible warmongers from our government.
01:43:06 They want to fight everybody.
01:43:07 They want to kill people all over the place,
01:43:09 places we've never heard about before,
01:43:11 places that want to be left alone.
01:43:13 We will drive out the globalists.
01:43:15 We will cast out the communists, Marxists, fascists.
01:43:20 We will throw off the sick political class
01:43:22 that hates our country.
01:43:23 We will rout the fake news media until they become real.
01:43:27 We will evict Joe Biden from the White House,
01:43:30 and we will finish the job that we started
01:43:33 better than anybody has ever started a job before.
01:43:38 [cheers and applause]
01:43:41 The great silent majority is rising like never before,
01:43:48 and under our leadership, the forgotten man and woman
01:43:53 will be forgotten no longer.
01:43:54 You're going to be forgotten no longer.
01:43:56 With your help, your love, and your vote,
01:43:59 we will put America first.
01:44:01 And today, especially, in honor of our great veterans
01:44:06 on Veterans Day, we pledge to you
01:44:09 that we will root out the communists, Marxists, fascists,
01:44:14 and the radical left thugs that live like vermin
01:44:18 within the confines of our country,
01:44:20 that lie and steal and cheat on elections,
01:44:23 and will do anything possible -- they'll do anything,
01:44:27 whether legally or illegally, to destroy America
01:44:30 and to destroy the American dream.
01:44:33 The real threat is not from the radical right.
01:44:37 The real threat is from the radical left,
01:44:40 and it's growing every day, every single day.
01:44:43 The threat from outside forces is far less sinister,
01:44:48 dangerous, and grave than the threat from within.
01:44:51 Our threat is from within,
01:44:53 because if you have a capable, competent, smart, tough leader,
01:44:58 Russia, China, North Korea,
01:45:02 they're not going to want to play with us, and they didn't.
01:45:05 Despite the hatred and anger of the radical left lunatics
01:45:09 who want to destroy our country,
01:45:11 we will make America great again.
01:45:15 Thank you, New Hampshire. God bless you.
01:45:17 God bless you all. Thank you.
01:45:19 God bless you all. Thank you. Thank you.
01:45:22 [cheers and applause]
