00:00 Well, here's the travel forecast for tomorrow.
00:02 Folks from the Texas coast right
00:03 up through the southeastern US.
00:05 That's going to be an area of rain
00:07 which could impede your travel.
00:08 Water over the roads,
00:09 isolated flash flooding,
00:10 but mostly beneficial rain.
00:11 But there still could be some
00:12 delays even at the airports.
00:14 Meantime, most of the nation is
00:15 looking good for your Friday.
00:17 Let's take it down to the South
00:19 where Louisiana, Mississippi,
00:20 Alabama, some states that really
00:21 need the rain are going to be
00:23 getting it, but there'll be some
00:25 possible delays from New Orleans.
00:27 Back to Houston and up to Little Rock.
00:29 The showers in Little Rock should depart
00:32 the region after the morning is over.
00:34 Now, meantime, across the Southeast.
00:35 Yes, this rain here is spilling
00:37 its way up toward Atlanta.
00:38 Into Tennessee into North Carolina,
00:40 so there could be some delays there.
00:42 That's also beneficial rain 'cause
00:44 there are some wildfires burning in
00:45 the central and southern Appalachians,
00:47 so this rain will help out with that.
00:49 Farther North,
00:50 if you're in Philly or DC,
00:52 Baltimore or DC, I should say you are
00:54 on the northern edge of that precipitation
00:57 that that has its beginnings down in
00:59 Texas so you'll get a little bit of rain
01:01 here tomorrow on the Chesapeake Bay area.
01:03 But minor delays are all we're expecting.
01:06 There nothing too heavy for the rain.
01:07 A few flurries will be floating
01:09 through northern New England tomorrow,
01:10 but otherwise the big cities here.
01:11 Buffalo, Boston were looking good for travel.
01:14 No delays expected due to the weather
01:16 and across the upper Midwest and
01:18 rest of the Great Lakes.
01:19 Not much happening out there.
01:20 There'll be some wind in Casper,
01:22 Wyoming gusts over 30 miles an hour.
01:24 Could be a problem for some of you.
01:26 High profile vehicles especially
01:27 and in the Pacific Northwest.
01:29 Another storm is moving through
01:30 that region tomorrow,
01:31 so there could be some minor delays there.
01:34 Snow levels are down to about 3500 feet.
