00:10 The Circularity Project in the Bega Valley began a couple of years ago when we thought
00:14 that it was important to actually not only further celebrate the history of the beautiful
00:20 Bega Valley and the region which produces so much wonderful food and is so popular among
00:26 guests that want to come down and share the beautiful beaches, share the beautiful bushland,
00:31 enjoy the wonderful food.
00:33 We've always been so proud of our history but we wanted to make sure that we were positioning
00:39 the valley for the future and the future will be all about sustainability and circularity.
00:45 We wanted to give circularity a lighthouse.
00:47 We wanted to give it a home and a centre and we thought nothing better could be done than
00:52 create the National Circularity Centre in the Bega Valley.

01:36 It is a unique building complex that demonstrates a whole heap of ideas and metaphors and things
01:45 that give the opportunity for people to learn.
01:49 It's essentially an education centre.
01:52 It's essentially a place where people will realise what aspects of circular philosophy
02:02 apply to every aspect of manufacture and daily life.
02:11 So really what we're trying to achieve here is this great centre of collaboration where
02:17 we demonstrate that we are able to bring people together from all walks of life, where we're
02:22 able to bring the best of technology, the best of education, the best of resource management
02:27 and say this is how you run a region that is truly focused on a sustainable future in
02:35 all that it does.
