00:00 President Biden's values and agenda
00:02 won big across the country last night.
00:04 In Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and in Virginia,
00:08 voters once again sided with President Biden's agenda
00:11 to stand up for fundamental freedoms
00:13 and build an economy for the middle class
00:16 and protect democracy.
00:19 Now let's turn to Ohio for a second.
00:21 On the heels of an attempt to weaken voters' voices
00:24 at the ballot box in August,
00:26 the people of Ohio voted decisively last night
00:29 to make reproductive care a constitutional right
00:32 in their state.
00:34 Ohio is now the seventh state
00:36 where voters turned out in droves to reject attempts
00:40 by Republican elected officials
00:42 to impose extreme abortion bans
00:44 since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
00:48 And from Kentucky to Virginia to Pennsylvania,
00:51 voters in those states also turned out
00:53 to roundly reject abortion bans
00:56 that jeopardized the health and the lives of women,
00:59 forced women to travel hundreds of miles for care,
01:02 and threatened to criminalize doctors and nurses.
01:05 The stakes could not have been higher.
01:08 And last night, voters sent a very, very clear message.
01:12 We have always said that voting matters and polls do not.
01:17 Our focus is going to remain on our work
01:20 to grow the economy, lower costs for families,
01:23 and protect fundamental freedoms against dangerous agendas
01:28 that are out of touch with the American people.
