Rob Kinnan from HOT ROD Magazine takes a brand new 2011 Shelby GT350 Mustang out for a quick test drive in the hills outside of Las Vegas. This car features several special modifications from Shelby to link it to the 1965 GT350. The supercharger on this car cranks out 525 horsepower and Rob does a massive burnout in this video to showcase that grunt.

00:00 Hi, I'm Rob Canan from Hot Rod Magazine.
00:28 This little bad boy right here is the Shelby GT350.
00:31 It's kind of the little brother of the Shelby Super Snake.
00:35 This is a base Mustang GT.
00:37 It has a Ford Racing supercharger kit on it, Shelby stripes, Shelby suspensions, bigger
00:42 brakes, Kreger Shelby 19 inch wheels, and the motor makes on this car 525 horsepower
00:49 with that blower on it.
00:51 There is an option to go to a 624 horsepower car.
01:10 What I like most about this car, other than the power of course, is this rear fascia that
01:13 Shelby designed.
01:14 It looks better than the Super Snake in my opinion and way better than the Mustang GT.
01:19 Check out the center exhaust section.
01:21 It's supposed to be faster than a Super Snake on the road course because it's lighter mostly.
01:26 It's basically the same suspension and it's a blast to drive.
01:32 Actually the ride is nice.
01:34 It feels like it's a little softer than a Super Snake but it's still firm.
01:38 It's definitely firmer than a GT, Mustang GT.
01:50 And all you guys that commented on the Super Snake video saying I look scared or bug eyed,
01:55 I'm just bug eyed naturally apparently.
01:57 Give me a break.
01:58 I'm not scared.
02:11 you
