00:00 We have 21 inspectors out visiting all range of sites from residential to larger sites.
00:07 We're looking primarily at our key harms, which is falls from height, electrical, housekeeping,
00:13 amenities and of course how people consult on site.
00:17 And more importantly, on the back of some recent data we have,
00:21 the reporting and notification of serious incidents.
00:25 We see the back end of it where families are affected forever.
00:29 There should never be any excuse for poor safety practices that lead to injuries.
00:34 There's always an answer and a safe system that can be put in place.
00:39 And importantly, workers need to be talking with their employers about safety.
00:43 They're the people working with the risk and the best ones to address that risk.
00:47 And that's not an option, that's required by legislation.
00:51 We have the Speak Up Save Lives app and that's on our website, you can get that link.
00:56 Any member of the public can take video footage or photographs and send it through to SafeWork
01:01 and we will go through those and prioritise them and get out there immediately.
01:05 Any photos of high risk work, people working at height or doing unsafe practices.
01:11 SafeWork can't do it all themselves and we're getting plenty of intelligence from members of the public to assist us.
01:17 So please look up the app and don't feel frightened to put in a submission.
