00:00:00 "Thank you, Lord, that revelation knowledge will flow
00:00:06 freely, uninterrupted and unhindered by any satanic or
00:00:11 demonic force."
00:00:13 Father, I pray that you will speak through my vocal cords
00:00:19 and think through my mind.
00:00:21 Think through my mind, God.
00:00:29 Speak through my voice.
00:00:31 None of me and all of you, it's in Jesus' name we pray.
00:00:38 And everybody said, "Amen."
00:00:44 You may be seated.
00:00:46 You have your Bibles, go with me in the King James Version to
00:00:54 the book of Luke chapter 16, verse 10 through 13.
00:01:00 I'm gonna finish the message or the teaching I did.
00:01:03 It wasn't last week.
00:01:04 I forgot I wasn't gonna be here last week, but it was a week
00:01:06 before that.
00:01:08 I wanna talk to you about Satan's plot to steal your
00:01:14 trust.
00:01:19 I want you to understand that this is about your trust and
00:01:25 where you're placing it.
00:01:27 In these last days, there is a battle contending for your heart
00:01:37 and contending for your trust.
00:01:39 And he has spent an enormous amount of time trying to build
00:01:44 up a foundation of deception that you just--that you'll
00:01:51 become blind to, offended at, and not even consider that the
00:01:58 whole time he's been after your trust.
00:02:02 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart.
00:02:06 Lean not into thy own understanding.
00:02:08 In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will direct your
00:02:13 path.
00:02:14 Satan cannot afford for you to be living everyday life under
00:02:18 the direction of the Holy Spirit.
00:02:20 So, what I'm about to share with you is not what you think.
00:02:28 It's about your trust.
00:02:30 Luke chapter 16, reading verses 10 through 13, and he says this.
00:02:43 "He that is faithful or trustworthy in that which is
00:02:50 least," he said, you can know what's going to happen with him.
00:02:55 If he can be trusted with what is least, then he will be
00:03:00 trusted also in what is much.
00:03:05 Look at a guy.
00:03:06 If he can be trusted when it's little, he can be trusted when
00:03:09 it's much.
00:03:12 And he that is unjust in the least, he's unjust also in the
00:03:18 much.
00:03:19 There's no such thing that says, "Well, I want to unjust with the
00:03:22 little, but I promise you I'll unjust with the big."
00:03:24 No, you've already demonstrated.
00:03:26 You've already shown me what's going to happen when it's big.
00:03:30 You disqualified yourself when it was little.
00:03:35 Verse 11, "If therefore you have been faithful or trustworthy in
00:03:40 the unrighteous," now this next word is very interesting, "in
00:03:44 the unrighteous mammon."
00:03:48 Mammon was the name of a Syrian god over people who had the love
00:03:54 of money.
00:03:56 Mammon, it's interesting that this word was chosen, mammon.
00:04:03 And those who have not been faithful in unrighteous mammon.
00:04:09 So, he's talking about money that's under the control of the
00:04:16 spirit of mammon.
00:04:19 He says, "Who going to commit to his trust?
00:04:21 The true riches."
00:04:22 And both of these go beyond money.
00:04:27 True riches go beyond money.
00:04:29 Mammon goes beyond money.
00:04:33 It's influence.
00:04:36 Verse 12, "And if you have not been faithful in that which is
00:04:40 another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?"
00:04:44 Everybody's out there trying to be the boss.
00:04:46 You're trying to be somebody's boss and God's like, "You haven't
00:04:48 even been faithful to that which is another man.
00:04:50 Why are you trying to be the boss?"
00:04:52 Now, here's the part.
00:04:57 "No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate
00:05:03 the one, love the other, or else he'll hold to the one, he'll
00:05:09 despise the other," and watch what he says, "You cannot serve
00:05:15 God," that's one master, "and mammon," that is the potential
00:05:21 of being another master.
00:05:23 Who gets your trust?
00:05:28 God or the spirit of mammon?
00:05:32 Who gets your trust?
00:05:34 God or the spirit that influences money called mammon?
00:05:40 Well, mammon is in direct contrast to the spirit of God.
00:05:51 Mammon says, "Buy and keep."
00:05:55 God says, "Sow and reap."
00:06:00 Mammon says, "Cheat and steal."
00:06:04 God says, "Give and receive."
00:06:09 Mammon is looking for servants.
00:06:12 It wants to be--it wants to rule your life.
00:06:19 Mammon wants to take the place of God.
00:06:23 Mammon is selfish.
00:06:27 God is generous.
00:06:30 Mammon tries to take God's place by promising us everything that
00:06:35 only God can give us.
00:06:38 Only God can give you security, significance, identity, power,
00:06:42 and freedom, and mammon says, "I want you to trust money more
00:06:50 than you trust God."
00:06:54 The issue behind the spirit of mammon is if I can get you to
00:07:00 give your trust that you would have for God, give it away for
00:07:05 money, it's not the money that's the issue.
00:07:10 It is you trusting and loving it.
00:07:14 It's not wrong to have money.
00:07:16 It's wrong to love money.
00:07:20 Why?
00:07:21 Because you've decided to put your love towards mammon, the
00:07:25 spirit that influences this.
00:07:28 You've decided to put your trust towards mammon.
00:07:31 In other words, mammon says, "I want to get you to trust God--
00:07:35 trust money more than you trust God."
00:07:38 And in this nation, in the United States of America, every--it
00:07:42 seems as if everything in this nation is motivated by money.
00:07:49 Even slavery was motivated by money.
00:07:55 That I would enslave a human being motivated by money, and
00:08:03 we can't see it.
00:08:06 And mammon even moved in the church temporarily, where all of
00:08:10 a sudden it was no longer about the souls of people, or preaching
00:08:15 Jesus, or preaching his Word.
00:08:18 It all turned into, "Let's see the money we can get."
00:08:24 And you're not trusting God for it.
00:08:27 So, your trust has been stolen and shifted over to money.
00:08:33 You remember that old song, "Money, money, money, money,
00:08:38 money.
00:08:39 Some people got to have it.
00:08:45 Yeah, some people really need it.
00:08:52 Oh, do things, do things, do things."
00:09:05 Somebody was trying to tell on my mammon way back then.
00:09:11 Here's what I want you to hear today.
00:09:17 We're moving into a time where systems will fail, currencies
00:09:26 will change, a global attempt to try to do things that we've
00:09:31 never seen before, and you will not be able to trust the things
00:09:37 here on this earth.
00:09:39 You must now, you must now, you must now make a decision.
00:09:43 Come hell or high water, we are going to trust God.
00:09:46 [congregation applauding]
00:09:51 Well, that depends how much in the bag, see there?
00:09:55 You have to make the decision now, "I'm going to trust God.
00:10:00 I'm going to trust God.
00:10:02 I'm going to depend on God."
00:10:05 Now, listen to me carefully now.
00:10:08 Grace, being God's infinite and unmerited provision for
00:10:12 everything that we need, it is complete in itself without any
00:10:17 addition from us.
00:10:19 It is God's grace that has been extended toward us.
00:10:23 It is his provision that continues to be available for
00:10:30 whatever you need, whatever you ever need in life.
00:10:34 There's a provision that God has made available to those who will
00:10:39 trust him, those who will believe him.
00:10:41 And the day you get a revelation that you can trust God and that
00:10:45 you can believe God and you can depend on God, then mammon will
00:10:48 never be able to trap you.
00:10:51 [congregation applauding]
00:10:55 Let's go to Hebrews chapter 13, verses 5 in the Amplified.
00:11:00 Hebrews 13, 5 in the Amplified Bible.
00:11:04 I just want to take you through the Word this morning.
00:11:07 I want to show you that God is committed to your care.
00:11:10 God is committed to your care.
00:11:13 God is committed to taking care of you.
00:11:16 There'll come a time, well, the welfare won't take care of you
00:11:19 and it ain't well 'cause, dear God, it's messed up.
00:11:22 You can't even live off of it, ain't enough.
00:11:26 But God is committed to taking care of you.
00:11:28 I saw a documentary this past week called "Mully," how this
00:11:35 guy from, I think it was from Nairobi, between Nairobi and
00:11:38 other areas, he became rich.
00:11:41 God prospered him and made him rich.
00:11:43 And then God spoke to him and said, "Now, here's what I want
00:11:45 to do with you."
00:11:46 And he went and got all the kids that were in the street.
00:11:48 Until he looked up and had a thousand kids and everything he
00:11:52 needed, God provided.
00:11:54 He needed water and God showed him where the water well was.
00:11:57 He needed food and at the last day, there was a truckload of
00:12:01 food came in.
00:12:02 This guy understood how--this is something that's allowed today.
00:12:05 This is not something that happened 30 years ago.
00:12:08 This exists right now today where he had--he was so
00:12:13 convinced that God's commitment to care for him would take the
00:12:17 place where he said, "I will no longer--I have no need to do
00:12:21 what I used to do for my riches.
00:12:23 I am going to now step into the riches of God and prove to this
00:12:27 world that God can be trusted to take care of you."
00:12:30 And now all of his kids are graduating from college.
00:12:36 They have an amazing things and they're coming back to help out.
00:12:39 It was like looking at the story of Moses again all over.
00:12:43 I think it's--you can look it up and check it out, but it was so
00:12:47 inspiring to me.
00:12:48 I looked at Tappi and I said, "Well, we got a few more rooms
00:12:50 left.
00:12:51 Let's fill this house up."
00:12:52 And I was like, "Hold on a minute now," you know.
00:12:54 [laughing]
00:12:55 All right, Hebrews 13 and 5.
00:13:02 All right, now watch this.
00:13:03 He said, "Let your character or moral disposition be free from
00:13:06 the love of money."
00:13:07 Be free from the love of money.
00:13:09 What is the love of money?
00:13:11 It is trusting and idolizing money more than you trust God.
00:13:16 The love of money.
00:13:19 It's not money that's wrong.
00:13:20 It depends on whose hands it is.
00:13:22 The love of money or trusting money more than you trust God.
00:13:26 He said, "Be free from the love of money, including greed,
00:13:30 avarice, lust, cravings for earthly possessions, and be
00:13:33 satisfied with your present circumstances and with what you
00:13:37 have, for he, God himself, has said, 'I will not give you
00:13:41 up, I will not in any way fail you, nor give you up, nor leave
00:13:44 you without support.
00:13:45 I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you
00:13:50 helpless, nor forsake, nor let you down, nor relax my hold on
00:13:54 you, assuredly not.'"
00:13:56 God says, "I am committed to your care."
00:13:59 Look at 2 Timothy chapter 3, verse 1 through 5 in the NLT.
00:14:06 2 Timothy chapter 3, verses 1 through 5 in the NLT.
00:14:10 God's committed to my care.
00:14:12 God's committed to my care.
00:14:14 Somebody says, "Well, I went and looked.
00:14:16 It don't seem like it."
00:14:17 Remember what Taffi said this morning?
00:14:19 "Go look again."
00:14:20 "Well, I looked a second time.
00:14:21 Don't seem like it.
00:14:22 Go look again."
00:14:23 It's kind of like God says, "I'm gonna give you a job that's
00:14:25 gonna be a blessing in you."
00:14:26 You say, "Well, I went and filled out one application, and
00:14:28 it ain't happened yet.
00:14:29 Go fill out another one.
00:14:31 Go keep going, keep going."
00:14:32 You don't stop because you know that no is not the answer from
00:14:37 God.
00:14:38 You know that he's committed to your care, so you know that
00:14:41 somewhere, somehow, what God promised is available to me, and
00:14:46 I'm gonna keep looking.
00:14:47 It may look small right now, but I'm gonna keep looking.
00:14:50 I don't see the rain right now, but he said the rain is coming.
00:14:53 I'm gonna keep looking.
00:14:55 I trust God.
00:14:58 You wanna run the devil out of your house?
00:15:00 You wanna run the devil out of your neighborhood?
00:15:02 You wanna run the devil from your family?
00:15:05 Put your trust in Jesus, and he'll make everything all right.
00:15:09 I know it sounds like a simple message.
00:15:14 I know it sounds like a basic message, but I think people have
00:15:17 been lured to sleep because it's easy to step away from trusting
00:15:23 God to say, "Oh, well, at least I have money."
00:15:25 I don't want nothing.
00:15:30 My wife and I have decided I don't want nothing in my life
00:15:32 that I can't give when God tells me to give it.
00:15:35 Mm, ooh, Jesus.
00:15:40 One through five.
00:15:49 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days--how many
00:15:52 of you believe we're in the last days?
00:15:55 There will be difficult times.
00:15:57 Somebody said, "What's happening in 2024?"
00:16:01 And somebody said, "Well, it's breakthrough."
00:16:03 No, no, no, no, no.
00:16:04 It's gonna be some difficult times, but we trust God.
00:16:11 I'm doing everything I can.
00:16:12 Taffi's doing everything we can to get you ready.
00:16:15 Open your ears, listen.
00:16:17 Listen, I know you think you don't--you may think you don't
00:16:20 need to trust God, but you're gonna need him.
00:16:23 You're gonna need him.
00:16:25 You're gonna--and listen, there's gonna come a time when
00:16:27 you know you're gonna need him.
00:16:28 You might not believe him right now, but you will when you need
00:16:30 him, but I don't want you to wait till the last minute.
00:16:34 I need you to start practicing needing him now.
00:16:37 I need you to wake up tomorrow needing him.
00:16:40 I need you to go to bed tonight needing him.
00:16:42 Lord, I need you to help me go to sleep.
00:16:44 Lord, I need you to help me wake up on time.
00:16:46 Lord, I need you to help me to have a great attitude
00:16:48 throughout the day.
00:16:49 Help me to walk in love, Lord.
00:16:51 I'm so doggone mad and upset with everybody.
00:16:53 Help me, Lord, to get over all that.
00:16:55 I need you, Lord.
00:16:56 Help me to set boundaries in my life.
00:16:58 I don't have no boundaries and I'm just doing all kinds of
00:17:00 stuff.
00:17:01 I need you, God.
00:17:03 Get used to needing, trusting God now in your everyday living
00:17:08 so when something really big come, you're good to go.
00:17:11 I've been trusting the Lord every day, praise God.
00:17:16 So, if Thanksgiving comes one of these years and it don't come to
00:17:19 pass, believe God.
00:17:20 God'll take care of you.
00:17:22 He'll take care of your children.
00:17:24 He'll take care of your rent.
00:17:25 He'll take care of your bills.
00:17:27 He'll take care of your sky high.
00:17:29 Something weird is getting ready to happen to the real estate
00:17:31 market.
00:17:32 I'm telling you, but God is not subject to the real estate
00:17:34 market.
00:17:35 He is not subject to inflation.
00:17:37 He is not subject to a recession.
00:17:40 My God is the God that still sits high and he still looks low
00:17:45 and he will take care of you if you trust him.
00:17:51 If you trust him.
00:17:53 My God, I almost took off running right now.
00:18:02 I was like, "Oh, Lord."
00:18:04 If you trust him, if you trust him.
00:18:08 I know many say they trust him, but you're about to take a test
00:18:14 so you can see yourself.
00:18:19 See how quick you run to the Tylenol and get some,
00:18:22 just a little headache.
00:18:24 Get a lot of, give them a shot at that.
00:18:27 You should know this Timothy, that in the last days there will
00:18:33 be very difficult times.
00:18:35 People will love only themselves.
00:18:38 Can you see that?
00:18:40 They will love themselves and their bag, their money.
00:18:47 They will be boastful and proud and scoffing at God,
00:18:51 disobedient to their parents, ungrateful.
00:18:58 I've never seen such an ungrateful society.
00:19:02 They will be, they will consider nothing sacred.
00:19:09 They will be unloving, unforgiving.
00:19:13 Are you kidding?
00:19:14 If something was done 20 years ago, there's some people still
00:19:17 holding on to it.
00:19:19 They will slander, slanderers that are all times high.
00:19:25 You need to get used to it.
00:19:26 Somebody talking about you right now, you just don't know they're
00:19:28 talking about you.
00:19:29 You need to get used to it.
00:19:30 They are.
00:19:31 You're sitting right here minding your own business,
00:19:33 listening to the Word, trying to learn how to trust God,
00:19:35 and somebody talking about you somewhere.
00:19:41 They will slander others and have no self-control.
00:19:46 No self-control.
00:19:47 I saw a clipping where kids are fighting in schools like it's a
00:19:52 gang.
00:19:54 No self-control.
00:19:55 Self-control is a gift that God gave us.
00:19:58 No self-control.
00:20:00 Just go out.
00:20:01 You're driving down the highway, you made a mistake.
00:20:03 You honestly didn't see the guy when you pulled out in front of
00:20:06 him.
00:20:07 No self-control.
00:20:08 He gonna run you down and try to bump and pull out a gun.
00:20:10 No self-control.
00:20:12 They will be cruel and hate what is good.
00:20:20 They will betray their friends.
00:20:22 Y'all supposed to be friends.
00:20:23 They will betray your friends.
00:20:25 Make sure they're your friends now.
00:20:27 They will be reckless.
00:20:30 They will be puffed up with pride and love pleasure rather
00:20:35 than God.
00:20:37 They will act religious.
00:20:40 Oh, Lord have mercy.
00:20:43 They will act religious.
00:20:44 "Hey, brother, how you doing?"
00:20:45 This is the day the Lord hath made and we will rejoice and be
00:20:49 exceedingly glad in it.
00:20:50 Bro, I just said, "Hey, what's up?"
00:20:52 I don't even know all that, what you just said.
00:20:54 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that
00:21:00 could make them godly.
00:21:02 [speaking in tongues]
00:21:08 What was that we were talking about last night, baby,
00:21:10 where we were talking about people so busy trying to--we
00:21:15 were so busy trying to move in the realm of acceptance that we
00:21:21 ran away from honor.
00:21:23 A society where we're trying to accept everything society tells
00:21:28 us to accept, even if it means I no longer walk in honor where
00:21:33 God is concerned.
00:21:35 'Cause I'm telling you, even if you're still messing up,
00:21:38 if you're trying to honor God, you're gonna be better than
00:21:40 you've ever been before.
00:21:41 God'll help you.
00:21:43 God'll help you.
00:21:44 But if all you wanna do is accept everything the world
00:21:47 says is all right, and then, "Well, y'all just need to be
00:21:50 acceptance of it."
00:21:51 Well, you ain't--how about let's accept God?
00:21:53 Let's accept what Jesus has done.
00:21:55 Let's accept the death, burial, resurrection, soon-coming king.
00:21:58 Let's accept the provisions that he's already made.
00:22:01 Let's trust him.
00:22:03 Instead of kicking God to the side and say, "Well,
00:22:06 I don't want his power.
00:22:07 I reject the power of God that can make you godly."
00:22:13 He said, "Stay away from people like that."
00:22:15 Now, listen to me carefully here now.
00:22:20 This is God's commitment to take care of you if you depend on
00:22:29 him.
00:22:31 Philippians 4, 19 in the NLT.
00:22:33 Philippians 4, 19 in the NLT.
00:22:37 Now, listen to me, your Scripture.
00:22:39 "And this same God who takes care of me," Paul said, "will
00:22:43 supply all your needs from his glorious riches which have been
00:22:48 given to us in Christ Jesus."
00:22:50 Now, Paul was referring to physical things that he needed,
00:22:54 and he said that God takes--took care of all of his supply where
00:22:59 those physical needs were concerned.
00:23:02 And I am telling you that God can take care of your physical
00:23:06 needs just like he took care of Paul's physical needs.
00:23:12 Now, let's now go to this place of giving, giving that we hate
00:23:18 and despise to hear at church.
00:23:21 Don't wanna hear nothing about no money in church, and that's
00:23:25 exactly what Mammon wants to do because the way to defeat Mammon
00:23:31 is to prove to Mammon that I will not trust you over God, and
00:23:37 anytime you try to move me to trust you, I'm gonna find
00:23:41 something to give.
00:23:42 I'm gonna be a giving person so I won't be a stingy person ruled
00:23:47 by Mammon.
00:23:48 But every time you hear it, everybody thinks, "Well, it's
00:23:50 just all about money."
00:23:51 Well, it's just all about money, and you're being ruled by the
00:23:54 Spirit that's motivating that 'cause you're blind to it.
00:23:58 You can't see.
00:24:00 Giving is a response to God's ability to take care of me.
00:24:05 I give because I know God can take care of me.
00:24:10 You know of Chick-fil-A, right?
00:24:16 We're good friends with the former CEO, and they had a chance
00:24:21 to talk about that.
00:24:22 "Why would y'all close y'all doors on Sundays when you could
00:24:26 make all of the money on Sundays?
00:24:29 Why would y'all close y'all doors?"
00:24:31 Because we know God takes care of me.
00:24:33 We do it to honor God.
00:24:35 Giving should be your response to a God who has committed to
00:24:41 take care of you.
00:24:46 My giving is my declaration of dependence on God.
00:24:49 God is committed to my care, and every time I have a chance to
00:24:57 give--and my giving is not gonna be just, you know, totally
00:25:02 dealing just with being at church.
00:25:03 I'm not talking about just offering.
00:25:05 I'm talking about every opportunity I have to give, I
00:25:09 can give because God's committed to my care.
00:25:14 In other words, I don't ever have to be in fear where giving
00:25:17 is concerned so what I have can't possess me because I trust
00:25:22 that God takes care of me.
00:25:25 Because if what I have is just being hoarded up in a barn
00:25:30 somewhere, then I'm gonna open myself up to the spirit of
00:25:34 money, and that spirit will now try to challenge my trust, and
00:25:38 I'm trusting my--all the stuff I got in my barns more than I'm
00:25:42 trusting God.
00:25:44 And this is why.
00:25:45 This is why there are 2,000 and some scriptures in the Bible
00:25:49 concerning this, and we still won't pay no attention to it
00:25:52 because the spirit of mammon has gotten so inside of us, we
00:25:56 think it's always somebody trying to take something from
00:26:00 you, and that in itself is a spirit of mammon.
00:26:03 God is committed to my care, and I see every time I give, I'm
00:26:15 declaring, I'm declaring my dependence to God.
00:26:20 I am giving and declaring my dependence to God.
00:26:24 I like to pray about my offerings before I make them
00:26:26 out, I was in my closet this morning praying about, "Lord,
00:26:29 what do you want me to give?"
00:26:30 And he spoke it to me, but I thought, "Did I just hear you?"
00:26:34 And I went back in tongues.
00:26:37 [speaking in tongues]
00:26:40 And it was the same thing, and I said, "Praise the Lord."
00:26:43 I said, "Praise the Lord."
00:26:45 I said, "That's a big one, but praise the Lord."
00:26:48 But see, what'll bother me more is that I don't give it somehow
00:26:53 thinking that my security is what I--in what I can keep, and
00:26:58 I'm no longer secure in his ability to take care of me.
00:27:01 My giving is a response to God's ability to take care of me.
00:27:12 My giving is my declaration of dependence on God.
00:27:15 God is committed to my care.
00:27:16 Now, I want you to look at this Scripture very--this is amazing.
00:27:20 In Isaiah 46, verses 3 through 13 in the NLT, follow me with
00:27:25 this, Isaiah 46, verse 3 through 13 in the NLT.
00:27:31 Somebody say, "Why are you sharing these Scriptures?"
00:27:32 'Cause I'm never gonna leave the Word.
00:27:36 I'm never gonna leave the Word.
00:27:37 I was saved by this Word.
00:27:39 I was delivered by this Word.
00:27:40 I ain't never gonna get so deep in God that I don't need his
00:27:45 Word.
00:27:45 Everything Taffi and I do will be done within the boundaries
00:27:49 of God's Word, including Rhema.
00:27:52 Listen, I'm gonna hear from God while I'm in the Word.
00:27:56 I'm gonna hear from God while I'm in the Word.
00:28:00 I'm not leaving the Word.
00:28:03 As long as I'm passing this church, you ain't leaving the
00:28:05 Word either.
00:28:07 We gonna stick with the Word.
00:28:09 We sticking with the Bible.
00:28:11 There's still stuff to discover from the Scripture Jesus wept.
00:28:15 Now, watch this.
00:28:22 "Listen to me, descendants of Jacob, all you who remain in
00:28:26 Israel, I have cared for you since you were born.
00:28:31 Yes, I carried you before you were born."
00:28:37 Wow, that's deep.
00:28:38 I carried you before you were born.
00:28:41 "I will be your God throughout your lifetime until your hair is
00:28:46 white with age.
00:28:49 I made you and I will care for you."
00:28:53 Oh my goodness.
00:28:55 "I will carry you along and save you.
00:28:58 To whom will you compare me?
00:29:01 Who is my equal?"
00:29:05 It sure ain't money.
00:29:07 "Who is my equal?"
00:29:09 Some people pour out their silver and gold and they hire a
00:29:14 craftsman to make a god from it.
00:29:17 Then they bow down and they worship it.
00:29:21 They carry it around on their shoulders.
00:29:23 You know what they're talking about, that golden calf?
00:29:26 And when they set it down, it stays there.
00:29:32 It can't even move.
00:29:35 And when someone prays to it, there is no answer.
00:29:41 It can't rescue anyone from trouble.
00:29:44 My God.
00:29:46 Do not forget this.
00:29:48 Keep it in mind.
00:29:49 Remember this, you guilty ones.
00:29:53 Remember the things I have done in the past.
00:29:56 Oh, somebody need to have a flashback.
00:30:00 You need to remember what God has already done for you in the
00:30:02 past.
00:30:05 "For I was alone, for I alone am God.
00:30:08 I am God and there is none like me.
00:30:13 Only I can tell you the future before it even happens.
00:30:17 Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish."
00:30:23 Maravoshata.
00:30:25 "I will call a swift bird of prey from the east, a leader
00:30:30 from a distant land to come and do my bidding.
00:30:34 I have said what I would do and I will do it."
00:30:39 Listen to me, you stubborn people who are so far from doing
00:30:44 right, "For I am ready to set things right, not in the distant
00:30:50 future," watch this, "but right now."
00:30:54 But right now.
00:30:56 But right now, I declare in the name of Jesus that that rain
00:31:01 that we told you this morning has already begin to fall.
00:31:05 It's not going to fall.
00:31:07 It's already raining.
00:31:08 You might not be able to see it, but it's already raining.
00:31:11 You might not be getting wet, but it's already raining.
00:31:14 God is about to do some things right now.
00:31:18 He's about to do some right now success.
00:31:20 He's about to turn some things around right now.
00:31:23 He's about to open some doors right now.
00:31:25 He's about to show you how big he is right now.
00:31:29 He's about to get rid of your enemies right now.
00:31:31 Hey, glory to God.
00:31:33 [applause]
00:31:35 And everything that's going on right now in the Middle East,
00:31:43 take this as a prophetic word.
00:31:45 He says, "I don't care what it look like, I'm ready to save
00:31:49 Jerusalem and show my glory to Israel."
00:31:52 [applause]
00:31:54 My goodness, giving is hard to do when you're not sure that
00:31:59 God can take care of you.
00:32:11 Why is it so hard to give?
00:32:14 Because I'm not sure that God can take care of me.
00:32:18 I'm not sure that God can take care of me.
00:32:22 I remember years ago, one of my relatives came over and the Lord
00:32:27 spoke to me, he said, "I want you to give him that favorite
00:32:32 suit of yours with that purple stripe."
00:32:34 [laughter]
00:32:36 Here's what I did.
00:32:41 I went up to the closet, was getting ready to get that suit,
00:32:44 and I saw six suits, or five suits.
00:32:48 I said, "I tell you what, I'm gonna give him five suits."
00:32:51 So, I came down, I had five suits.
00:32:56 I said, "Hey, look at here, boy, five suits."
00:33:01 He responded kind of nonchalant like, "Oh, okay," and I'm like,
00:33:04 "What?
00:33:05 Okay, I'm giving you five suits, you--oh, okay?"
00:33:10 And I went back upstairs, God said,
00:33:12 "That's not what I told you to do."
00:33:14 I said, "All right."
00:33:18 I pulled that suit out, the one with the purple stripe,
00:33:22 that I ain't seen since.
00:33:24 I came down, I couldn't get down the steps good,
00:33:29 and he saw that, he said, "Oh, wow, right now,
00:33:31 that's what I'm talking about."
00:33:32 I'm like, "Just shut up, take the suit, just hush."
00:33:35 [laughter]
00:33:45 It was hard for me to give because I wasn't sure that God
00:33:50 would take care of me, but when I did that,
00:33:56 a man called me and said, "I want a--I ain't never had no
00:34:00 tailor-made suit before in my life.
00:34:02 I didn't even know what that was."
00:34:04 That was scary.
00:34:05 I got all my suits at K&G and, you know,
00:34:07 what they sell, them $150 suits.
00:34:09 You just search the whole store until you found one that looked
00:34:12 like it was expensive.
00:34:14 Some of you will remember this.
00:34:18 I was preaching in the chapel.
00:34:19 My suit was so cheap, I literally started preaching
00:34:22 out of it.
00:34:23 I looked down and the threads started coming apart.
00:34:26 Some of y'all remember that?
00:34:27 And it was coming apart that way, that way.
00:34:29 I thought Mattel was showing after a while.
00:34:31 And they eased me out, covered me up,
00:34:35 and I walked out right there real quick.
00:34:40 But when you are sure, when you are sure that God can take care
00:34:46 of you, giving is no longer a hard thing to do.
00:34:50 Look at Romans chapter 8, 32.
00:34:56 In there, somebody says, "Well, I didn't know I was gonna hear
00:35:01 a message on finances."
00:35:02 I'm not--see, that's what I'm saying.
00:35:04 That's not what I'm talking about.
00:35:06 I'm talking about who will you trust?
00:35:09 You keep thinking the issue is money,
00:35:15 and I'm saying the issue is trust.
00:35:18 Romans 8, 32 in the NLT, someone says,
00:35:26 "Why do you scream like that?"
00:35:27 I get excited.
00:35:29 I am not mad or angry at anybody.
00:35:31 I am just so excited.
00:35:34 I wanna do cartwheels, but I might spring something.
00:35:37 I don't--I just--I wanna run, but I don't want my back to be
00:35:41 hurting after I finish looking like I got the Holy Ghost and
00:35:43 then going home, talking about oil tap on my back.
00:35:45 You know what I'm saying?
00:35:47 I'm just so excited.
00:35:48 I'm excited that we are figuring the devil out and he not gonna
00:35:51 be able to deceive us anymore, and he's not gonna trick us
00:35:54 no more.
00:35:55 And we're gonna deal with the hard issues.
00:35:57 We're gonna deal with the controversial issues because we
00:36:00 are gonna be ready for whatever he got to throw at us.
00:36:03 Bring it on, devil.
00:36:04 You wanna dance?
00:36:05 We gonna dance because we depend on God.
00:36:09 We have declared a declaration of dependence upon the almighty
00:36:14 God.
00:36:15 He will not fail us.
00:36:17 He will not leave us.
00:36:19 He will not, he will not, he will not.
00:36:23 He will not, he will not.
00:36:26 If my baby need a pair of shoes, God got it, hallelujah.
00:36:30 Look, you got a light bill due.
00:36:31 He'll help me pay the light bill.
00:36:33 If you lose your job and you got a gas bill too, depend on
00:36:37 Jesus, hallelujah.
00:36:39 I'm telling you, I'm telling you what I know.
00:36:41 I'm telling you what I know.
00:36:46 When we were building this building, oh, what was it?
00:36:52 We needed so much money at a certain time or they were gonna
00:36:55 stop the construction and then it takes a bunch to get the
00:36:59 construction up again.
00:37:01 And the Lord said, "How much do you have in the account?"
00:37:06 I said, "We have 700 and some thousand dollars in the account."
00:37:10 I thought he was gonna do something.
00:37:12 He said, "I want you to take that money and I want you to
00:37:14 give it to another ministry that's building the building."
00:37:20 I said, I said, "Lord, that mean we won't have no money."
00:37:29 Like God needed a math lesson from me.
00:37:32 Glory to God.
00:37:39 So, I called up a guy in Sacramento and he was building
00:37:42 the church and I said, "Lord told me to do this and so we'll
00:37:46 be sending it to you."
00:37:49 And I said, "All right, Lord."
00:37:51 So, we were taking an offering up one day and my wife said,
00:37:56 "The Lord told me to give my whole check."
00:38:09 And I'm thinking, "Hey girl, we got bills to pay."
00:38:11 And then other people came up and started doing the same thing.
00:38:18 And then folks started running to their house.
00:38:22 And then we got pictures of it.
00:38:24 Then money started flying in the air.
00:38:27 People were throwing it from the balcony.
00:38:30 We had to get umbrellas so nobody would get injured
00:38:32 with them coins.
00:38:34 How many of y'all were here at that meeting when it took place?
00:38:40 Oh my goodness.
00:38:42 I don't know when he multiplied it.
00:38:47 I don't know when it was flying through the air or when they
00:38:49 were counting it.
00:38:52 Oh, I know.
00:38:54 As when it was said and done, we had enough to not only finish
00:39:02 what we started, but we moved in a building that was not just
00:39:11 prayed for, but it was paid for because God demonstrated,
00:39:16 "I will take care of you."
00:39:20 [applause]
00:39:22 Romans 8, 32, he says, "Since he did not spare even his son,
00:39:37 but gave him up for us all."
00:39:41 He gave Jesus up for all of us.
00:39:45 He gave the most valuable thing heaven had for everybody.
00:39:50 He said, "Now, if I did that, won't he also give us
00:39:53 everything else?"
00:39:55 You're begging God for a car.
00:39:59 He says, "I gave you my son."
00:40:02 But Lord, what about my rent?
00:40:04 I gave you my son.
00:40:06 Oh, but Lord, what about my baby need a parachute?
00:40:10 I gave you my son.
00:40:12 You can trust my son.
00:40:18 You thinking the only thing you can trust is God.
00:40:22 No, you can trust my son.
00:40:24 I was preaching in the Baptist church and then during those
00:40:29 days, they had the chairs in the pulpit and during prayer time,
00:40:33 all the preachers who were on the pulpit would turn around and
00:40:37 kneel and pray and your shoes would go up.
00:40:40 Well, when I got down and put my shoes up,
00:40:46 I had holes all in my shoes.
00:40:48 When I knew it was going to rain,
00:40:52 I put the plastic over my sock and then put a sock over that
00:40:57 and then put my shoes on.
00:41:00 I needed to know that I could trust God to give me some shoes.
00:41:05 It'd be raining sometimes and I'd get them calluses out of my
00:41:11 feet because, you know, the plastic,
00:41:14 I didn't know it had a hole in it, so the water.
00:41:16 And those are days where you just mix and match everything.
00:41:24 One day, I wear the bottom pants with a different coat and then
00:41:28 I'd wear the coat that went with the pants with the pants that
00:41:34 went with the coat and I had to multiply from two suits to four.
00:41:40 And then I'd buy a jacket to mix it all up with that and then
00:41:46 mix it with a tie because I needed to know the God I was
00:41:50 about to give my whole life to because when you go into
00:41:55 ministry, you give your whole life.
00:41:59 You don't go to the ministry and, well,
00:42:01 if a hundred people don't show up, I'm going to quit.
00:42:04 If but five people show up, I gave him my whole life.
00:42:07 I need to know if you can take care of me, God.
00:42:13 I was a servant playing the piano one night.
00:42:20 Angels will be singing, but I was tired.
00:42:24 My feet were tired.
00:42:28 The pastor called, he said, "You're coming back to
00:42:30 evening service."
00:42:32 I said, "No, sir."
00:42:34 I don't believe in saying, "Well, I'll try," because I
00:42:37 believe I'll try is like an honest lie.
00:42:40 You know you ain't coming.
00:42:42 So, I told him, "I'm not coming."
00:42:47 He said, "Why?"
00:42:48 I said, "I'm tired."
00:42:50 He said, "Well, son," because he knew what was going to happen
00:42:52 that night, he said, "Son, please, if you can just come
00:42:54 back that night, okay?"
00:42:56 I said, "Oh, boy."
00:42:58 All right.
00:42:59 So, we had to sing that night.
00:43:02 Ooh, I had a big attitude.
00:43:04 I was about to mess it up.
00:43:06 I'm up there, I beat that piano like a rug that had dust in it.
00:43:14 [scatting]
00:43:20 I'm down there pouting 'cause my feet hurt, and I'm wondering,
00:43:25 "Can this God take care of me?"
00:43:30 I sat there, and after a while, they said, "Could Reverend
00:43:34 Dollar come to the front?"
00:43:35 And I'm thinking, "What do you want now?"
00:43:37 I mean, I cut the grass yesterday.
00:43:41 You know, I did church this morning.
00:43:45 What do y'all want now?
00:43:46 What, you trying to kill me?
00:43:47 What you want now?
00:43:49 And then they walked out there, and they had this soup bag,
00:43:55 and they had this bag of things.
00:43:58 I said, "Uh-oh."
00:44:00 Oh, my God.
00:44:07 And they pulled the shoebox out.
00:44:09 And the first thing I saw, I'm like, "They're going to my
00:44:13 shoes."
00:44:16 "God, you gave me my shoes."
00:44:21 Now, that may not mean nothing to nobody here today,
00:44:26 but to me, that sealed the deal.
00:44:31 That if God can give me my shoes, I can give him my life.
00:44:45 I can trust him for anything now.
00:44:49 He will take care of me.
00:44:54 Hallelujah.
00:44:55 He will take care of me.
00:44:57 But you know what?
00:44:58 He going to take care of you right now.
00:44:59 Some of you need to understand that everything that's happening
00:45:02 right now in your life, that's God taking care of you right
00:45:06 now.
00:45:06 That's God carrying you right now.
00:45:09 That's God working it out right now.
00:45:11 You don't even know why you called the IRS, and they said,
00:45:14 "We can't find no bill."
00:45:16 "You sure you owe the government something?"
00:45:18 "Well, the bills say this."
00:45:19 "Well, I don't know what to tell you.
00:45:21 We ain't got nothing in our computers that say you owe
00:45:24 nothing."
00:45:24 "Honey, that ain't nothing but God taking care of you."
00:45:27 If you can have faith in Jesus being given to you, then you
00:45:42 will be successful in navigating through hard times or challenges
00:45:46 and you will have some difficult times.
00:45:48 But you got to remember Romans 8:32, "He gave me Jesus."
00:45:51 Whatever confronts your life, you must encounter your--whatever
00:45:58 confronts your life, must encounter, must encounter your
00:46:02 dependence upon God as your source.
00:46:04 Whatever confronts you, you got to let that--you got to let
00:46:06 whatever confronts you know, "God is my source."
00:46:11 Whatever confronts you, you got to let it know,
00:46:14 "God takes care of me."
00:46:17 Your trust in God will cause you to be successful.
00:46:22 I said, "Your trust in God will cause you to be successful."
00:46:29 I said, "Your trust in God will cause you to be successful."
00:46:35 Look at Psalms 50, Psalms 50, verse 7 through 15 in the NLT,
00:46:41 Psalms 50, verse 7 through 15 in the NLT.
00:46:44 I ain't trying to be complicated.
00:46:48 I ain't trying to be complicated.
00:46:50 It would do nobody no good if I came up here and complicated
00:46:53 you and gave you something that made you say, "Ooh, ah," and
00:46:56 then when you walk out of here, you have no idea how to
00:46:58 practically apply it to your life.
00:47:01 Amen.
00:47:03 "O my people, listen as I speak.
00:47:12 Here are my charges against you, O Israel.
00:47:14 I am God, your God.
00:47:17 I have no complaint about your sacrifices or the burnt
00:47:20 offerings you constantly offer, but I do not need the bulls from
00:47:26 your barns, nor do I need the goats from your pens, for all
00:47:32 the animals of the forest are mine."
00:47:34 You know what God's talking about now?
00:47:38 See, you think God needs your money.
00:47:40 God's like, "I don't need nothing from you.
00:47:42 I don't need nothing from you, for all the animals of the
00:47:47 forest are mine, and I own the cattle of a thousand hills.
00:47:52 I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals
00:47:57 of the field are mine."
00:48:01 I love this.
00:48:02 "If I were hungry, I wouldn't tell you, for all the world is
00:48:09 mine, and everything in it is mine.
00:48:12 Do I eat the meat of bulls?
00:48:18 Do I drink the blood of goats?
00:48:21 Give thankfulness your sacrifice to me.
00:48:25 Keep the vow you made to the Most High God.
00:48:29 Then call on me when you're in trouble, and I will rescue you,
00:48:35 and you will give me glory."
00:48:37 This thought that God needs you to be God, God doesn't need you
00:48:50 to be God.
00:48:52 Anything God's asking you to do, he's asking you to do it for
00:48:55 your benefit, not his.
00:48:57 And if 2,000 and some Scriptures are trying to get us to open our
00:49:03 eyes to see that he's committed to take care of you and that he
00:49:09 wants you to learn how to depend on him, and you think it's about
00:49:12 my money, that preacher--well, listen to this devilish slogan.
00:49:16 "All preachers want is your money."
00:49:18 But they won't say, "All Kroger's wants is your money."
00:49:24 'Cause the fact of the matter is all Kroger's wants is your
00:49:29 money.
00:49:31 You don't believe me?
00:49:32 Go shop at Kroger's after church today, and when you get to the
00:49:35 line and they say, you know, "$115, please," you say, "No,
00:49:41 you're just concerned about me benefiting with the food."
00:49:44 Security, they don't care about no benefit or no food.
00:49:48 All they care is about your money coming out your pocket
00:49:51 book, paying for what you just took off the shelf.
00:49:53 But it's another mammon slogan to get you to thinking that
00:50:02 somehow this thing called money is to be trusted more than you
00:50:08 trust God.
00:50:10 Somebody asked me one time, "Well, what if the preacher
00:50:12 really is stealing?"
00:50:13 I said, "What?
00:50:14 That's between him and God.
00:50:17 I'm doing what God told me to do.
00:50:20 I'm giving what God told me to give, and I ain't sitting around
00:50:24 there worrying about him.
00:50:26 If he dropped dead one day preaching, then we know."
00:50:28 God doesn't need your money any more than he needed those Old
00:50:33 Testament sacrifices.
00:50:42 The whole point behind your giving is for you to learn to
00:50:44 recognize God as the source of all of your provisions.
00:50:48 It's one thing to say you believe God is your source, but
00:50:51 it's another thing to prove it.
00:50:53 And the way you prove to yourself, not to God, that you
00:50:57 believe God is your source is to give a portion of what you make
00:51:01 back to God.
00:51:02 I realize this is bold to get up and to preach this kind of stuff
00:51:09 in this day and time, but it is still the truth.
00:51:16 People who don't really see God as their source are going to
00:51:20 balk and refuse to give part of what they make 'cause they don't
00:51:23 see God as their source.
00:51:26 But giving back some of what God has already given you is nothing
00:51:30 when you see God as your source.
00:51:32 And I am telling you, unless you understand this, when this next
00:51:37 year flows and a year and year after that and year after that,
00:51:40 if you don't know this, you'll only dream of God being your
00:51:44 source, but you won't know him as your source because you get
00:51:48 tripped up in that area where, "Oh, I don't want to give the
00:51:51 money," and mammon has already captured you because you trust
00:51:55 it more than you trust God.
00:51:58 Money is difficult to come by when you think of yourself as
00:52:03 the provider.
00:52:05 Can I say that again?
00:52:09 Money is difficult to come by when you think of yourself as
00:52:12 the provider, and there are lots of people, especially Christians,
00:52:17 who think of themselves as the provider, and you got it
00:52:20 all together.
00:52:22 You can't think of yourself as the provider.
00:52:24 You are not.
00:52:26 You are God's creation.
00:52:27 He is the provider, and you keep thinking that you're the
00:52:30 provider, and then it moves over to your healing.
00:52:33 You're thinking you're the provider of your health, the
00:52:38 provider of your resources, the provider of your peace.
00:52:41 Look at 1 Corinthians chapter 4 and 7 in the--let's look at it
00:52:46 in the Passion translation.
00:52:48 1 Corinthians chapter 4 and 7 in the Passion translation.
00:52:52 You cannot think of yourself as a provider.
00:52:54 Stop it.
00:52:57 You cannot think of yourself as the provider.
00:53:00 He says in verse 7, "For what makes a distinction between you
00:53:04 and someone else?
00:53:07 And what do you have that grace has not given you?"
00:53:11 My God.
00:53:13 What do you have that grace has not given you?
00:53:19 And if you received it as a gift, why do you boast as though
00:53:25 there is something special about you?
00:53:28 You received it as a gift, and yet you walk around thinking,
00:53:33 "Well, I'm all that," 'cause you think you're the provider of it.
00:53:40 And you gotta humble yourself 'cause you're not the provider
00:53:44 of it.
00:53:46 And you gotta watch out--you gotta watch these messages that
00:53:49 are coming through the airways and even some coming through the
00:53:51 pulpit.
00:53:52 You cannot be your source.
00:53:56 You will fail miserably.
00:53:58 And when something awesome happens, it is only because of
00:54:04 God's grace, and you need to be grateful and thankful to God for
00:54:09 his unmerited favor.
00:54:11 But you keep looking at yourself like there's something special
00:54:15 about you.
00:54:17 God help us.
00:54:25 It's impossible to prosper without God.
00:54:30 Now, somebody asked me one time, "Well, is it possible to prosper
00:54:40 without God?"
00:54:42 Well, let me show it to you, Proverbs 10, 22, in the NLT.
00:54:45 Is it possible to prosper without God?
00:54:47 Yes.
00:54:48 You see, people are not born again, prospering with God, but
00:54:52 here's the part you don't get.
00:54:53 It's possible to prosper without God, but it'll come with some
00:54:57 heartache.
00:54:59 He says the blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, not just in
00:55:06 money.
00:55:07 You can be rich in family.
00:55:08 You can be rich in peace, all of the other kinds of stuff.
00:55:12 And he has no sorrow with it.
00:55:13 But what you don't understand, when you try to prosper without
00:55:17 God, heartaches.
00:55:19 I met some of the richest people in the nation, and in front of
00:55:22 you, they look like they're awesomely happy, but in private,
00:55:27 they're suicidal.
00:55:29 When God is your source, there is no sorrow added to your
00:55:35 success.
00:55:37 When God is your source, you can consider all that he cares for
00:55:42 you with a blessing, and then you'll be able to go to sleep at
00:55:46 night.
00:55:49 I mean, that good slobbing on the side of your mouth sleep.
00:55:51 Thank you, Jesus.
00:55:56 Look at 1 Timothy 6, 9, and 10.
00:56:03 I got about four more minutes.
00:56:05 1 Timothy 6, 9, and 10.
00:56:07 Somebody said, "When you gonna be quiet?"
00:56:09 You wouldn't be saying that if I was preaching on Shadrach,
00:56:11 Meshach, and Abednego, but now that I'm confronting that very
00:56:15 spirit that holds you, I'm doing a type of exorcism right now
00:56:21 while I'm preaching.
00:56:23 And Lord, help when we take an offering up.
00:56:27 My God, some of you might spit up green stuff.
00:56:29 Look at this, "But people who long to be rich," oh, they long
00:56:37 to be rich, "they fall into temptation and are trapped by
00:56:42 many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and
00:56:49 destruction."
00:56:51 Ooh, look at that.
00:56:55 They fall into harmful desires, foolish and harmful desires that
00:56:59 plunge them into ruin and destruction.
00:57:01 That's all motivated by mammon.
00:57:05 Somebody say, "Prove it."
00:57:06 Look at verse 10.
00:57:09 "For the love of money," oh, yeah, money's not bad, but the
00:57:14 love of money is.
00:57:17 "But trusting money more than trusting God," that's the issue.
00:57:20 Trusting money more than trusting God.
00:57:22 Idolizing money and putting money ahead of God, that's the
00:57:29 root to all kinds of evil.
00:57:32 And some people craving money, that's mammon, "have wandered
00:57:37 from the true faith, and they pierce themselves
00:57:40 with many sorrows."
00:57:43 See, that's connection.
00:57:44 That's connected to this great falling away.
00:57:46 And then the Scripture keeps talking about in the last days
00:57:48 there's gonna be a love of money where people trust it more than
00:57:51 they trust God.
00:57:53 And many are pierced with all kinds of things.
00:57:55 And I am warning you of the manifestation of what is to come
00:58:04 because of what has already entangled itself in our lives.
00:58:10 That all of us may have a point in our life where we've come to
00:58:13 trust money more in this area than God.
00:58:17 And I am saying, let's recognize it, let's acknowledge it, and
00:58:20 let's say, "God, help me not to be deceived and show me every
00:58:25 area of my life where I have trusted it more than I trust
00:58:29 you."
00:58:31 Wow, God has a plan for every Christian, and his plans are
00:58:41 bigger than our dreams.
00:58:45 Oh, my goodness, Jeremiah 29 and 11, and 1 Corinthians 2 and 9.
00:58:50 Jeremiah 29 and 11, and 1 Corinthians 2 and 9 in the King
00:58:55 James, God has a plan for every Christian.
00:58:58 Everybody in here, there's a plan for you.
00:59:01 There's a plan for you.
00:59:02 There's a purpose and a plan for you.
00:59:04 You are not alive for no reason at all.
00:59:06 You are here for a purpose.
00:59:08 There is a design and a purpose for your life.
00:59:12 There's a blueprint that was drawn out before you came to
00:59:15 this planet, but it's gonna require your dependence upon God
00:59:20 to see it come to pass.
00:59:23 You're moving into a time where a society won't believe nothing,
00:59:28 but we will, but you will.
00:59:31 We believe God, amen?
00:59:34 He says it again, "For I know the thoughts that I think
00:59:37 towards you, saith the Lord."
00:59:38 Thoughts of peace, not evil, to give you and expect it in.
00:59:45 And then 1 Corinthians 2 and 9, he says, "But as it is written,
00:59:51 'Your eye hadn't seen, your ear hadn't heard,
00:59:53 neither has it entered into the heart of man the things which
00:59:57 God hath prepared for them that love him.'"
01:00:02 You're on your way to something big.
01:00:07 I said, you're on your way to something big.
01:00:10 God will do great things, but you have to rely on him.
01:00:14 You gotta trust and depend on God.
01:00:17 He knows the path you gotta take to get where you're supposed
01:00:19 to be.
01:00:20 He knows the things you got to go through.
01:00:22 Will you have to go through some hard times?
01:00:24 Yeah, but you'll be all right because he'll be there with you.
01:00:27 Notice God didn't show up in the fiery furnace to put the fire
01:00:30 out in the firmness.
01:00:31 He showed up to get in the fire with them.
01:00:34 There was a fourth man in the fire.
01:00:36 See, we think God's gonna take the trouble away from us.
01:00:39 No, he's a comforter.
01:00:40 He gonna show up in the trouble with you to comfort you,
01:00:43 and if you need a way of escape, he's already provided a way
01:00:46 of escape.
01:00:47 God's getting ready to do something big in your life.
01:00:51 Can you trust him?
01:00:52 Hallelujah.
01:00:53 God's getting ready to do something magnificent
01:00:56 in your life.
01:00:56 Can you trust him?
01:00:59 Are you willing to trust him when you can't see your way out?
01:01:02 Are you willing to trust him when you don't know quite what's
01:01:04 gonna happen?
01:01:05 Are you willing to trust him when you don't know where the
01:01:08 money gonna come from?
01:01:09 Are you willing to trust him in between jobs because he said,
01:01:12 "Your assignment is finished here," and he's moving you
01:01:14 somewhere else?
01:01:15 Are you willing to trust God when he tells you to do that or
01:01:18 open up that or start that building or write that song or
01:01:22 write that move?
01:01:22 Are you willing to trust that God knows what he's doing?
01:01:25 Or will you sit there and question God?
01:01:28 Or will you put what God tells you on hold because you ain't
01:01:32 got the money to do it right now?
01:01:33 Sometimes you got to do it before the money shows up.
01:01:37 And hey, and if you'll start doing what he tells you to do,
01:01:40 he knows how to pay for it.
01:01:42 And you don't need money to pay for everything because God will
01:01:45 show up with some favor, glory to God.
01:01:48 God will show up and he'll do something and you don't even need
01:01:52 no money to do it.
01:01:53 God will show up and blow your mind with what he did.
01:01:56 God will put you on somebody else's mind.
01:01:59 Somebody else might show up and do it.
01:02:01 Your job is not to figure out all the time how it's gonna get
01:02:04 paid for.
01:02:05 Your job is to trust in Jesus and know that he will make
01:02:11 everything all right.
01:02:13 [applause]
01:02:15 So, get ready, world changers.
01:02:23 Get ready, world changers.
01:02:25 Something big about to happen.
01:02:28 You're gonna find out that you ain't never been average,
01:02:31 that God knew about you before you even were born.
01:02:36 And they may look at you like they looked at David,
01:02:39 some little old young shepherd boy in the back field somewhere.
01:02:43 They looked at everybody else to be king except for David.
01:02:47 But I'm telling you, God will bring you from the field into
01:02:52 the throne house, praise God, if you trust him.
01:02:58 But if all you can do is get mad at me because I can't believe
01:03:05 he talked about money.
01:03:08 I didn't talk about money, I talked about trust.
01:03:11 [applause]
01:03:13 So, why is it that you still have the money on your head?
01:03:26 'Cause mammon wants you to focus in on the money so that the
01:03:33 trust won't remove mammon from your life.
01:03:37 It's the most important message I've preached for my life as far
01:03:41 as preparing somebody for something.
01:03:43 It's getting ready to happen.
01:03:45 Enjoy your Thanksgiving.
01:03:47 Merry Christmas.
01:03:51 But when we move into this next year,
01:03:55 you are seeing Bible prophecy being fulfilled
01:03:58 every single day.
01:04:00 [applause]
01:04:02 But as for me and my house, we're gonna trust God.
01:04:10 Did y'all get anything out of that this morning?
01:04:12 We're gonna trust God.
01:04:15 We're gonna trust God.
01:04:17 We're gonna trust God.
01:04:20 Every head bowed, every eye closed,
01:04:25 if you can hold your walk and please thank you if you can't,
01:04:27 you know, I understand.
01:04:29 Lord, ooh, Jesus, I pray that by the Spirit of God,
01:04:35 you will show manifestation of what I just taught.
01:04:53 Your kindness, your mercy, your commitment to our care,
01:04:59 we trust you.
01:05:05 Forgive us for ever doubting you.
01:05:08 Help us, Lord.
01:05:17 Not to walk in fear.
01:05:19 Not seeing how we're gonna make it,
01:05:23 not seeing how this thing gonna work.
01:05:25 Not--help us just to trust you even when we can't see it.
01:05:31 There are only some things, and I just believe
01:05:37 it's everything, Lord.
01:05:39 We can't do nothing without you.
01:05:45 So, take us, Lord, into your care.
01:05:51 Wrap your love around us, and may we be a demonstration
01:06:03 of the grace and the glory of God.
01:06:10 May we be a recipient of the early and the latter rains
01:06:14 falling on us all at the same time.
01:06:17 The anointing that was on Elijah,
01:06:20 plus the anointing that fell in the upper room on the day
01:06:23 of Pentecost, let it fall upon these precious people
01:06:28 all at the same time.
01:06:32 That when we walk in a room, our presence will demand
01:06:40 an explanation.
01:06:42 Glory to God.
01:06:44 Oh, my goodness.
01:06:47 Help us through the difficult times.
01:06:51 Show us how to move and to navigate
01:06:56 through the stressful times.
01:06:59 We receive it now, in Jesus' name.
01:07:07 Lord, what would you have us to give?
