00:02 One of the fun things about the show

00:07 is that the show is kind of like a second pass

00:09 of the comic book series for me.

00:11 It's almost like the second draft I never did.

00:13 We try to keep things fairly faithful

00:16 and we're trying to make sure that the comic book fans

00:18 that come into the show are getting to experience

00:21 the things that they experience in the comics

00:22 and kind of see them elevated and animated and expanded.

00:26 But we're trying to turn the screws at all times

00:29 to like amp things up, to make things more exciting,

00:32 more visceral, like more heartbreaking,

00:34 more violent at times.

00:36 And you know, the Guardian's death in the comic book

00:38 is such a quick scene and we turned it into this

00:41 like massively long event that you really see

00:45 everything that happens to the Guardians in gory detail

00:49 and it really shows you the weight of what it is

00:51 that Omni-Man is doing and it really elevates that scene

00:54 in the way that we're trying to do.

00:56 You know, expanding Titan's scenes

00:59 and really kind of getting into a little bit more

01:01 of his relationship with Machine Head

01:03 and really spending a lot more time with that character

01:07 is something that made that episode

01:10 kind of stand on its own in a cool way

01:11 and made the Titan character somebody

01:14 that we really want to see more of.

01:15 Similarly, taking all of the Rihanna-Man scenes

01:19 and combining them into one episode

01:21 kind of made that feel like it was more of an event

01:24 because in the comic books it takes place

01:26 over a long span of time.

01:28 We're gonna be keeping subplots in the show

01:30 but we are gonna be moving things around

01:32 and streamlining things and that kind of stuff

01:34 continues into season two and season three

01:36 and hopefully beyond.
