Ingredients

मखाना (Fox Nuts) - 2 कप (2 cups)
काजू (Cashews) - 1/4 कप (1/4 cup)
किशमिश (Raisins) - 1/4 कप (1/4 cup)
नारियल (Coconut) - 1/4 कप (1/4 cup) - पतला कता हुआ स्लाइस किया हुआ
बादाम (Almonds) - 1/4 कप (1/4 cup)
सेंधा नमक (Rock Salt) - स्वादानुसार (to taste) - व्रत के लिए
काली मिर्च पाउडर (Black Pepper Powder) - 1/2 छोटी चमच (1/2 teaspoon)
घी (Clarified Butter) - 4-5 चमच (4-5 teaspoon)

Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the coconut thinly.

Roasting Dry Fruits: Heat 4-5 tablespoons of ghee in a pan. Add cashews, almonds, and raisins. Roast them until they turn golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Roasting Makhana: In the same pan, add makhana and roast until they become crisp. It takes about 4-5 minutes on medium heat. Remove and set aside.

Roasting Coconut: Add thinly sliced coconut to the pan and roast until it becomes golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Mixing Everything Together: In a large mixing bowl, combine roasted makhana, cashews, almonds, raisins, and roasted coconut.

Seasoning: Add rock salt and black pepper powder. Mix well so that all the ingredients are coated evenly with the spices.

Enjoy Your Namkeen: Your crispy and delicious Dry Fruit Namkeen is ready to be served. Enjoy it during fasting or as a healthy snack any time of the day!

00:04Today we will make dry fruit namkeen
00:07And this is a very simple recipe, ready in ten minutes
00:12Once made, you can store it and enjoy it during fasting or whenever you like
00:18So, let's get started
00:20These are two cups of foxnuts (makhana)
00:22And one-fourth cup of cashews
00:24And one-fourth cup of raisins
00:26And one-fourth cup of thin coconut slices
00:31And one-fourth cup of almonds
00:34And this is rock salt for fasting
00:36And black pepper, half a teaspoon. Now, let's move to the stove
00:42We will place a pan and add four to five tablespoons of clarified butter (ghee) and let it melt for a minute
00:56Now our ghee is hot. First, we'll add cashews
01:01And we'll stir continuously until it turns light golden brown
01:07It browns quickly, it will take about a minute to roast
01:11And as you can see, it's ready after roasting
01:14Now, we'll take it out. As you can see, it has changed color from before
01:20Now, we'll add almonds and roast them.
01:23We'll roast these as well. It doesn't take much time, just about a minute to roast.
01:30And now, we'll take these out; they are also roasted now
01:35Now, we'll add coconut and roast it continuously. This is our dried coconut.
01:40This is also known as Gari, dry coconut ball.
01:46And this has also roasted for about one and a half minutes. Now, we'll take it out.
01:52And this is also roasted. Now, we'll roast foxnuts.
01:55So, we'll add all of it to the pan and continuously stir and roast it. It will take about two and a half minutes to roast.
02:04And when it's roasted, it will become crispy.
02:07It's been almost two and a half minutes of roasting, and it has roasted well, as you can see, the color has changed.
02:14Now, we'll take it out and let it cool for a while
02:18And now, we'll add raisins. We haven't roasted the raisins.
02:22You can roast them if you want. Since we need to keep it for a long time, it's good without roasting.
02:28This is one-fourth cup of roasted peanuts; we'll add these too
02:30You can add any dry fruit of your choice
02:34Add whatever you like, remove what you don't
02:38Now, we'll add salt according to taste
02:42This is fasting salt; we'll add this
02:44And we'll add half a teaspoon of black pepper powder
02:48And now, we'll mix all of these well
02:51And if you're not making it for fasting, you can add a bit of chaat masala or a little red chili powder
02:57You can add a bit of red chili powder
02:59We've made this for fasting, so we didn't add that. Now, we'll mix it all well, then we'll serve it
03:07There you have it, our dry fruit namkeen is ready. You can enjoy it with tea or eat it like this
03:14Or if you're a little hungry, you can eat it. It's perfect for that.
03:20And since it's made from dry fruits, it's healthy too
