Adam Ellison: renewed appeal six years on from his murder - LiverpoolWorld Headlines

  • last year
Six years after the murder of Adam Ellison in Prescot, detectives are renewing their appeal for information. The 29-year-old was assaulted in Market Place in the early hours of 4th November 2017 after becoming involved in an altercation with two males onboard a scrambler bike. Independent charity Crimestoppers has offered a reward of up to £20,000 for information they exclusively receive that leads to a murder conviction.

A new bridge could be installed to connect Liverpool's historic dry docks and its iconic museums on the city's waterfront. The museum hopes that installing the new bridge to connect with the wider dock will open up Liverpool's history even more. A date has yet to be confirmed for the plans to be considered by the city's planning authorities.

Merseyside's Police Commissioner has secured funding to improve safety and protect women and girls in three areas blighted by crime and anti-social behaviour. A total of £912,766 was awarded to three projects across Merseyside aimed at reducing crime in key areas.
