00:00 So I think the community fridge is such a good idea for everybody to use.
00:05 It saves food going into waste.
00:09 It's become almost like the village well.
00:11 It's somewhere where people go and have a look if there's anything in it.
00:15 As it's right by the car park here, it's very central.
00:19 People almost always go past and pop by and see and run into people they know and so on.
00:25 And we've got over 40 volunteers now which is marvellous.
00:29 It's a big community thing.
00:31 People are just really, really grateful.
00:33 That's what's so nice is that people, they take things and they say thank you so much
00:39 and you really appreciate it.
00:41 The thing to think about if you're wanting to set up a fridge is firstly, you've got to have a good location.
00:48 You've got to have somewhere that's accessible and somewhere that people feel comfortable going.
00:52 And the other thing is to make sure that you've got enough places to collect surplus from.
00:58 Projects like this, people seem to be quite happy to volunteer.
01:02 It's a very clear duty that you have a shot at what you're doing and leave the games.
01:07 And that's a reward isn't it?
01:09 Yeah.
01:10 That you're helping other people.
01:11 It does make it feel like it is more of a community.
