West Yorkshire packaging firm Roberts Mart has launched its first overseas office in the company's 120 year history, opening a new premises in Australia, Michael Crossland reports.

00:04 from the family-run sixth generation commercial packaging firm Roberts Mart which is based in
00:10 Leeds. The company has announced its first overseas office in its 170 year history which is being
00:16 opened in Australia. The company was first launched in 1952 and set up as a paper merchant on Lady
00:23 Lane in Leeds. It later went into handmade bag making and then commercial printing. Fast forward
00:30 to today the company now focuses on commercial packaging and employs a staff of 220 people.
00:38 The company's paired the launch of its new Australian office with the launch of a new
00:41 home compostable packaging material which takes the form of a printed film designed to be used
00:48 on products which have a short shelf life. The firm's marketing director Ben Roberts said the
00:53 company was very excited to be launching both its new product and its first overseas office. So
