00:00 So for me the anxiety was one of the first symptoms that I now know to be perimenopause.
00:07 It was in my early 40s and it kind of came out of the blue because, you know, I do this
00:14 job where I kind of turn up and I'm working with strangers and I never really know what
00:18 I'm going to be doing day to day and it's brilliant and I love it because it's so varied
00:22 and so unpredictable and one day I might be doing an interview with somebody like you,
00:26 next time I might be on TV, but it got to this point where I was just so anxious about
00:31 what I was going to be doing and I felt very stressed and very out of control and it was
00:36 out of character because I'd just turn up and have a ball, meet new people and just
00:40 jump in and enjoy the day.
00:42 But I started to get really anxious, started to kind of feel very, like my confidence started
00:49 to go and it was really hard to work out what was happening.
00:52 I didn't know that that was perimenopause, absolutely had no idea, I just thought that
00:57 I might be having a little bit of a breakdown.
