00:00 Zion Williamson, Chet Holmgren, Victor Webinyama, these are all guys that dominated headlines
00:04 before they even stepped foot in the NBA and it is now Cooper Flagg that holds that torch.
00:09 Real quick make sure to tap that like button and follow this account if you haven't already.
00:12 As the number one ranked player in his graduating class of 2024, Flagg stands at 6'9" and
00:17 can seemingly do everything on the court.
00:19 He had offers from 16 different universities over the past couple years, but after reclassifying
00:23 to ensure that he would be able to get to the league earlier, he has now committed to
00:26 none other than Duke University.
00:28 Here he will be following in the footsteps of recent lottery picks such as Zion, RJ Barrett,
00:32 Marvin Bagley III, Paolo Bancaro, and Jason Tatum.
00:36 Flagg is currently suing up for the prestigious Montverde Academy and he is coming off of
00:40 an elite AAU summer with Maine United in which he was able to average 27 points, 12 rebounds,
00:45 5 blocks, and 5 assists.
00:47 Those are some of the most impressive numbers that I have ever seen from a player of his
00:50 stature and skill set.
00:51 And let me leave you guys off with some quotes that Flagg gave to none other than Slam Magazine.
00:58 When asked about what opponents think when they look at his scouting report, Flagg simply
01:01 stated that he believes that they just view a number of different ways that he is going
01:04 to beat them.
01:05 And when asked about his own NBA player comparisons, he said he believes he plays like Paul George
01:09 and Mike Dunleavy.
01:10 Those are two very different player comparisons, but both of them have some positives and I
01:14 am very excited to see Cooper Flagg get his collegiate career started.
01:17 Make sure you follow me for even more updates on his career.
