For more than 200 million Americans, this year's Halloween will be a frigid one.

00:00 Kids and parents all across the country are also getting ready for trick-or-treating tomorrow night.
00:05 But it's going to be cold, possibly snowy in some parts of the U.S.
00:09 And as you head out and search for those sweet treats, what weather is in store for you?
00:13 Christina Schallhoop shows us who's going to be bundling up this Halloween.
00:19 Tomorrow is the day we are ready for the candy, we are ready for the costumes,
00:24 and I really hope you're ready for the cold because that is the flavor
00:28 for more than 200 million of you across the country.
00:32 Look at all the blue on the map, I mean it's like you threw a bag of blue markers at the screen
00:36 and that's what we're going to be seeing and feeling for cities like Bismarck, Minneapolis,
00:41 Chicago, Kansas City, and even into Oklahoma and North Texas.
00:46 Temperatures will be dramatically cooler than where they should be this time of year.
00:50 I do want to put a spotlight on the Midwest where you'll notice we have a little blue and a little pink.
00:57 That represents where we could see a few snow showers and a little bit of a wintry mix as we move through your Tuesday.
01:03 So please be safe if you're heading out on the roads for any tricks or treats.
01:07 Now the one spot that it's not going to be cold, I would say one of the two spots perhaps,
01:12 is the southeast where it's actually going to be quite hot if you live in Florida,
01:17 if you live in the Carolina coastline, that 95 corridor down toward the Sunshine State is going to be awfully toasty.
01:22 In the northwest it's going to be cold, but in the southwest we see a nice increase in temperature.
01:27 San Francisco, 77 degrees, 86 in LA on Halloween afternoon.
01:31 So if you like it hot, you know where to go, either toward the southeast or the southwest.
01:36 In between, look at all the green and blue. Denver, 45 on Halloween afternoon.
01:40 Bismarck, 27 and 37 in Minneapolis.
01:43 A quick look at your scary city forecast.
01:46 Hopefully you're not too haunted on Halloween, but perhaps the 40s will get you in Salem.
01:50 49 degrees is your high temperature.
01:52 Sleepy Hollow, 51 and Tombstone, Arizona and Pumpkin Center, California at 65 degrees.
01:59 Happy Halloween and stay safe.
