00:00 This is a building with a very long and complicated history.
00:05 It was built in 1890, in 1891, in the first phase,
00:10 expanded in 1910, it took part in the Second World War.
00:15 In the first one, no, because the Russians did not come to Wrocław then,
00:18 in the Second World War it was an auxiliary role,
00:21 but the splendor of this building falls on the period after the Second World War,
00:25 when here was the position of the command of the 98th Independent Regiment of the Air Defense Artillery of the country.
00:31 However, after 1987, this building, this fort was already an abandoned building,
00:37 formally a civil defense facility, but a really abandoned, devastated facility,
00:42 and since 2013 we have been trying to bring this facility back to life and show it to Wrocław.
00:47 Our mission was to give this facility a second life.
00:54 What history has taken, the times gone by, we want to recreate for our descendants, but also for ourselves.
01:03 We are incredibly proud, because this year it turned out that I came up with an idea
01:09 that has been around for a long time,
01:12 that is, the reconstruction of the entrance connected with the fort wall,
01:17 the fort wall at the entrance to the fort.
01:23 We set up an online donation that raised 10,000 PLN.
01:29 It turned out that within two or three months our fans, our supporters,
01:35 our internauts and also our friends donated, and we managed to raise these 10,000 PLN.
01:42 In fact, this is the biggest and only action so far related to the collection of external funds.
