00:30 We've weathered storms together and stood by each other's sides, despite life's hurdles.

00:38 In 2020, Lori and Massimo both pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges for securing admission
00:47 to the University of Southern California for their two children, Olivia Jade and Bella
00:52 Giannulli.
00:54 As part of the school's crew team, despite them not being rowers.
00:59 Lori went on to serve two months in jail, was ordered to pay a $150,000 fine and complete
01:06 150 hours of community service, while her husband was sentenced to five months in jail,
01:12 a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service.
01:19 As John reveals in the book, he called the Fuller House actress after finding out about
01:25 the scandal, noting that she responded casually.
01:28 However, after he heard a clicking noise while they were on the phone, she informed him that
01:33 her phone may have been bugged.
01:36 He writes, "No matter how hard she was hit, how desperate everyone was to cancel her and
01:43 throw her in with the pile of brutal criminals, she stood fast protecting her daughters from
01:49 the mud hurled at them day after day after day."
01:53 He went on to express his gratitude for their lifelong friendship, writing, "I am thankful
01:59 that she continues to be a significant part of my life and my neighbor."
