01:49 Hi, how are you?
01:50 Welcome.
01:51 Maybe you can share your name and also,
01:54 even though you have such challenges,
01:58 how did you overcome and participate in the race?
02:02 So we are the Doha Wireless Warriors.
02:04 We're from Qatar.
02:05 And you can tell from the different colored wigs,
02:08 we have had different types of cancer.
02:10 And so the pink represents breast cancer.
02:13 The other thing is we also have our supporters
02:15 who also wear pink.
02:16 And then different cancers are represented
02:18 by the different wigs.
02:19 We've had all different kinds of cancer.
02:22 Our Dragon Boat team started on November 14th in 2014,
02:27 so nine years ago.
02:28 And I started the team two weeks after I'd
02:31 had a bilateral mastectomy.
02:33 And my goal was to start a breast cancer Dragon Boat team.
02:37 In Qatar, it's difficult to talk about breast cancer.
02:40 So we sort of opened it up to anybody.
02:42 And so we have all different cancer survivors in our group.
02:45 We have all kinds of supporters.
02:47 And my goal was to bring us to a cancer race.
02:51 And Gurli Tan has invited us two times to come.
02:55 And we decided to come to this one
02:56 instead of to just a breast cancer race,
02:58 because we could represent all the different cancers
03:00 in our boat.
03:01 And so that's why we're here.
03:03 Rule number one.
03:04 Have fun.
03:05 One, two, three.
03:06 Wireless Warriors.
