00:04 The fifth season has recently ended and the Ladybug and Cat Noir movie premiered earlier

00:09 Now fans have the release of a new special, Miraculous World Paris, to look forward to.
00:13 The special, planned to air on the 21st of October, takes Ladybug and Cat Noir into an
00:17 alternate universe, where they're the villains.
00:19 It's safe to say that the special aims to subvert our expectations.
00:22 So in today's video, we're making predictions for Miraculous World Paris.
00:26 It's not too late, anyone can change, let go of your anger, reject the Akuma.

00:33 Emily is Alive If the special aims to make our heroes completely
00:36 opposite, there must be something in their origin stories to promote the change.
00:39 In the original series, Adrian becomes Cat Noir after losing his mother, and he receives
00:43 freedom from his father when he patrols the city as a hero.
00:46 Emily may be alive in this alternate universe, so the question becomes, what would make Adrian
00:50 crave the same freedom he does in the main series?
00:53 The answer may come from his cousin Felix.
00:55 In the main series, Felix goes to great lengths to give himself absolute freedom from those
00:59 who would control him.
01:00 His desire stems from knowing he's a sentimonster, as he reveals in Representation.
01:04 It's possible that the peacock Miraculous didn't break in this alternate world, allowing
01:08 Adrian and Felix to be born without harming their parents.
01:11 If that's the case, Adrian may have learned he was a sentimonster.
01:14 The knowledge of his birth occurring because of a miraculous and that his parents have
01:17 complete control over his fate, could cause Adrian to search for his freedom elsewhere.
01:21 Emily may still be the wielder of the peacock Miraculous, if that's the case, Shadybug
01:25 and Claw Noir may be after the peacock and butterfly Miraculouses to give Adrian control
01:30 over his fate.

01:32 Marinette's Broken Home
01:40 Much like alternate Adrian, the new Marinette needs a reason to stray from the path of good.
01:45 Many of Marinette's morals and guiding principles are taught to her by her parents.
01:49 In the main series, Tom and Sabine love Marinette unconditionally, give her the benefit of the
01:53 doubt and support her creative endeavors.
01:55 However, their strong marriage and parenting style may not exist in this parallel world.
01:59 Sometimes relationships don't work out, and a couple finds that the best thing for
02:02 them could be a divorce.
02:04 If Tom and Sabine were no longer together, Marinette may not have the same support and
02:07 guidance as usual.
02:09 Like Adrian, she may have one parent or an absent parental figure causing her to act
02:13 out.
02:14 In any case, Marinette would still use her natural leadership skills and intuitive nature
02:17 as Shadybug, allowing her to terrorize Paris through lucky charms.
02:21 She may even use these skills to persuade or trick her parents.

02:26 Chloe's Redemption Arc
02:34 A big problem that fans have with Chloe Bourgeois in the main series is the way the narrative
02:38 treats her character.
02:39 In the second season, she appears to have the beginning stages of a redemption arc.
02:43 She tries to be kinder to others, uses the Bee Miraculous for good, and supports Ladybug's
02:47 work wholeheartedly.
02:48 However, her character takes a turn by the end of season 3 as she loses the Bee Miraculous
02:52 indefinitely.
02:53 In Miracle Queen, after joining forces with Hawk Moth, in an alternate universe, Chloe
02:57 could abandon her cruelty to be a patron for all things good.
03:00 She could learn from her sister Zoe and be a positive example for everyone at Collège

03:04 If that were the case, she would likely find an enemy in Marinette or Adrian, as neither
03:08 of their alternate versions will be as kind as the heroes we know and love.

03:21 Interestingly, in the early concept stages of Miraculous Ladybug, Cat Noir was meant
03:26 to be a character named Felix.
03:27 Felix would have the same reserved civilian identity as Felix in the current version of
03:31 the series, but sharing Cat Noir's outgoing and flirtatious nature.
03:34 Miraculous World Paris may allow the writers to return to this early version of Felix,
03:38 who may have the same personality as the Adrian we know and love.
03:42 In representation, Felix explains that many of his actions and beliefs stem from how his
03:46 father, Colt Fathom, treated him as he grew up.
03:49 In the special, it's possible that Amelie no longer has a relationship with Colt, or
03:52 that he's a kinder person than his main series counterpart.
03:55 Either way, more considerate parents and a gentler upbringing could go a long way in
03:59 reinventing Felix's character.

04:08 Shadybug and Claw Noir know each other's secret identities
04:11 A recurring conflict throughout Miraculous Ladybug is the secret identities of our heroes.
04:15 Marinette and Adrian spend seasons pining after each other and rejecting each other
04:19 without even knowing.
04:20 They also struggle to coordinate during villain attacks because they don't know how to locate
04:23 one another when trouble occurs.
04:25 In Ephemeral, Su Han thinks their secret identities are enough of a problem that he tries to learn
04:30 who Cat Noir is to help coordinate the two heroes when a villain attacks.
04:34 It's unlikely that the villains will be as strict about their secret identities.
04:37 They'll need coordination to stand against Hesperia's heroes and keep their Miraculouses.

04:50 Alternate Marinette and Adrian are dating If Marinette struggles to talk around her
04:54 crushes, what's the chance that her alternate version will wear her heart on her sleeve?

04:58 In their parallel world, Marinette and Adrian may have started as enemies, become friends,

05:04 It would add credibility to the prediction that they know each other's secret identities
05:07 as such a big secret would be hard to keep from your partner.
05:10 Additionally, if they know each other's secret identities, they could reveal the truth
05:13 to the other Marinette and Adrian.
05:15 Imagine a battle between the four with Ladybug and Cat Noir close to winning.
05:19 Exposing their identities would distract them enough to give Shadybug and Claw Noir the

05:28 Nino still manages the Resistance In Illusion, Nino creates an organization
05:32 with his classmates called the Resistance, who aim to help Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat
05:36 Monarch.
05:37 One of the Resistance's weapons is water or paint guns filled with condiments.
05:40 While ketchup and mustard don't seem like they'd be helpful in a fight, they can be
05:43 proficient at distracting or blinding an enemy, which gives the heroes momentary respite.
05:48 In the Miraculous World Paris trailer, Nino appears in a scene with distinctly broken
05:52 glasses and a condiment gun that the Resistance uses.
05:55 He stands in what seems like the lair beneath the aggressive state, and stares in horror
05:59 at Shadybug and Claw Noir.
06:00 Nino's choice of weapon and his reaction to seeing the villains point to the Resistance

06:11 Alya works for Hesperia As a diehard Ladybug fan and Marinette's
06:15 best friend, it's no surprise that Alya would do anything to help the heroes.
06:19 And that driven attitude hasn't seemed to change in the special.
06:22 Alya is one of the few characters who appear the most in the trailer, and all signs point
06:26 to her working with Hesperia.
06:27 In one shot, Alya holds her arms out as an Akuma flies toward her, willingly allowing
06:32 herself to be Akumatized.
06:33 However, it's likely that she will be Akumatized by Hesperia, and thus turned into a hero to
06:37 aid his cause.
06:39 In another scene, she appears in Marinette's bedroom while in her Akumatized state, hovering
06:42 in the air with a pained expression as Shadybug walks through a portal.
06:46 It's possible the villains forced her to cooperate.

06:53 Gabriel has the Miracle Box There's no telling how Shadybug and Claw
06:57 Noir acquired their Miraculouses, but if their master Fu was anything like the one in the
07:00 main timeline, he would have never given them up willingly.
07:03 However, he could find the Butterfly's unique power strong enough to stop the Ladybug and
07:07 Cat Miraculouses from doing more harm than good.
07:10 If Fu teamed up with Gabriel in the special, he would eventually entrust the Miracle Box
07:13 to Hesperia, just as he did with Ladybug at the end of Season 3.
07:17 If Hesperia has the Miracle Box, he could create double the heroes by making them with
07:20 an Akuma or giving a Miraculous a temporary holder.

07:33 Miraculous owned by villains is that, when combined, they can make a universe-altering

07:41 they have so much power at their disposal.
07:43 Unfortunately, more than one character in the primary Miraculous universe knows about
07:47 Gimmie, the Kwami of Reality introduced in Recreation.
07:50 It's possible that Shadybug and Claw Noir could learn about their wish during the special
07:54 and use it to complete their end goals.
07:56 They could also use it to defeat Hesperia, take over their world, or create an immense
08:00 conflict for Ladybug and Cat Noir to try and fix.
08:03 Maybe by making a wish of their own.
08:12 Since Miraculous World Paris will be in an entirely new universe, there is no telling
08:15 where the story will take Marinette and Adrien.
08:17 Although we can speculate and make theories like the most diehard Miraculous Ladybug fans,
08:21 we'll surely be impressed by whatever we see on the screen on October 21st.
