00:04 After more than a decade of hiding, the suspect is now arrested in Baco, Orcavite, for the murder of a woman in Tondo, Manila.

00:17 After 16 years of hiding, the authorities have arrested Michael Garcia in Baco, Orcavite.

00:24 He was wanted for the murder of a barangay resident in Tondo, Manila back in 2007.

00:30 They had a long dispute.

00:34 There were times when he was the one who was shot in the head by the victim.

00:41 And there were also times when there were suspicions against Michael Garcia.

00:50 Until the crime happened when they reached a bar.

00:54 He admitted that he was drunk.

00:57 And because of his anger at his victim, he grabbed him while he was carrying a stick and hit him in the head.

01:05 The victim immediately killed the suspect.

01:08 Since then, the suspect has been hiding from various places.

01:12 He was able to work abroad for a year before the warrant of arrest was issued.

01:17 We got information from the relative of his victim that Michael Garcia was hiding there.

01:25 The suspect admitted to the crime.

01:28 He did not know that he had a warrant of arrest.

01:30 Maybe I was just angry because sometimes he bullies me.

01:37 I did not intend to do that.

01:39 I just intended to hit him, but I did not know that I would kill him with one blow.

01:44 I am completely sorry to my relatives.

01:47 The suspect will face a murder case.
