00:10 Democracy is messy sometimes, but it is our system.

00:14 This conference that you see, this House Republican majority is united.

00:23 I'm honored to have the support of my colleagues and what they understand about this is this

00:36 We're going to serve the people of this country.

00:38 We're going to restore their faith in this Congress, this institution of government.

00:44 America is the last best hope of man on the earth.

00:47 Abraham Lincoln said it.

00:48 Ronald Reagan used to remind us all the time, and we're here to remind you of that again.

00:53 We're going to restore your trust in what we do here.

00:56 You're going to see a new form of government, and we are going to move this quickly.

01:00 This group here is ready to govern, and we're going to govern well.

01:03 We're going to do what's right by the people.

01:06 And I believe the people are going to reward that next year, but we have a lot of big priorities

01:10 ahead of us right now.

01:11 The world is on fire.

01:12 We stand with our ally, Israel.

01:19 We have a very busy agenda.

01:25 We have appropriations bills to get through the process, but you are going to see this

01:29 group working like a well-oiled machine.

01:32 We owe that to the American people.

01:34 The people up here have been sent here by the people of this country to do this job,

01:39 and we are going to do it well.

01:40 We commit that to you.

01:41 Thank you for allowing us to go through the process and get to this.
