Internationally renowned Taiwanese film director Hou Hsiao-hsien is reportedly retiring from the movie business due to a battle with dementia. Hou was one of the leading figures of Taiwan's New Wave cinema movement and his films like "A City of Sadness" are considered among the best ever made.
