00:02 Nick now knows the truth.
00:04 He knows what his father Victor is up to.
00:07 We saw Nick confront Victor telling him,
00:09 "Dad, I'm onto you, time to come clean."
00:13 Adam showed Nick the drawing that had their names on it
00:16 and that resembled a snake.
00:19 Adam thought Nick knew what it could mean and Nick does.
00:22 Nick will think Victor is sending him a message
00:25 through the drawing, a clue that Nick will recall
00:28 about a story he liked as a kid.
00:31 Nick will call Victor out on faking his condition,
00:33 making everyone think Victor has been losing his memory.
00:36 But it's all an act, an act to test his children
00:39 to see if there's a traitor in the midst.
00:42 Nick will now know it's not true
00:43 and Victor will want to recruit Nick as an ally
00:46 and keep the secret.
00:48 Victor will point out he needs Nate to not know about this
00:51 and if Victoria knows, then Nate will know.
00:54 It seems Victor trusts Nick and wants him as an ally
00:57 but assumes Adam, Victoria, and Nate could try
00:59 and take advantage of this situation
01:01 for their own ambitions.
01:03 But Nick thinks Victoria should know.
01:05 But Nick also thinks this could allow Adam
01:07 to implicate himself, so Nick will be ambivalent.
01:11 Nick won't stay 100% silent though
01:13 because he'll tell Sharon.
01:15 Nicky knows the truth too and Victor thought Nicky
01:18 was about to tell Victoria before he interrupted them.
01:21 Victor wonders if he can trust Nicky now
01:24 and she assured him he can, but she also feels
01:26 that Victor is punishing his kids,
01:28 making them think that Victor is dealing with memory loss.
01:32 Victor wants to know if they'll try and take advantage
01:34 of that for their own gain.
01:36 Nick now knows the truth and he'll tell Sharon,
01:38 but it looks like he'll keep the secret from Adam
01:40 and from Victoria for now.
01:43 Nicky, it seems too, will keep the secret.
01:45 And I can't help but draw a parallel between this story
01:48 and over on "The Bold and the Beautiful"
01:50 with Eric's confidants keeping his health secret.
01:53 Circumstances are different,
01:55 but there's a similarity too about two patriarchs
01:58 dealing with health stories and loved ones
02:00 having to keep the secret from the rest of the family.
02:03 But Victoria thinks Adam will try to use Victor's condition
02:06 against him as a way to take charge of Newman.
02:09 But back in Genoa City, Victoria thinks Adam
02:12 will try to use Victor's condition against him
02:15 as a way to take charge of Newman.
02:17 But Adam seems genuinely concerned about his father,
02:20 placing a call to consult with a doctor about Victor.
02:23 Victor wants to find out if there'll be a traitor,
02:26 so we'll see.
02:27 And spoilers say Victor sends a powerful message,
02:30 so if the truth is revealed soon,
02:32 Victor might remind them who's in charge
02:34 and why he set them all up.
02:36 But Nick now knows Victor's plans,
