00:00 I'm not surprised with the end result yesterday,
00:03 but I am surprised, Ryan, that if you bought a ticket
00:06 in Arlington or in Houston,
00:08 do you want your money back at this point?
00:10 Your team just cannot win at home.
00:12 I don't know what is going on in this series.
00:14 The road team has just won every game in the series,
00:17 and tonight they're gonna play game seven,
00:20 and Max Scherzer is on the mound.
00:22 This is surprising to me.
00:24 He's going up against Christian Javier,
00:25 and look, the odds makers have made this minus 120,
00:28 and I don't think it's because of Scherzer.
00:30 It's because of Christian Javier.
00:31 I think, Ryan, you want to think
00:33 that this is the version of Christian Javier,
00:35 the good version that you're gonna get,
00:38 but the total is certainly telling you
00:40 that anything can happen in this one.
00:43 I'm excited to see what happens in the end.
00:45 I mean, I guess I think Houston wins game seven,
00:47 but I don't have, like, this ultimate confidence.
00:50 Like, I thought that, like I was saying with Philadelphia,
00:53 I mean, I think Texas can win tonight.
00:55 I think this probably comes right down
00:56 to the eighth or ninth inning.
00:58 Yeah, absolutely.
00:59 I mean, if you're an Astros fan,
01:00 you're kind of having this horrible sense
01:02 of potential deja vu,
01:04 thinking back to the 2019 World Series
01:07 when they played the Nationals,
01:10 and every game the home team lost,
01:12 and Houston had home field advantage in that one, too, right?
01:14 You know, remember they came back to Houston up 3-2
01:17 after winning the three games in D.C.
01:19 and lost two of those games, lost both those games.
01:22 You know, Howie Kendrick hit the big home run in game seven
01:24 to kind of put the Nationals in the driver's seat,
01:28 and, I mean, that could happen again tonight.
01:31 You know, Dolise Garcia has been popping the ball
01:33 out of the ballpark, and he's certainly swinging.
01:35 Every swing is he's taking to hit a home run.
01:37 He's not taking let's punch the ball
01:39 to right field type of swings,
01:41 and that's why we saw, you know, some strikeouts in game five
01:45 or in game six before he hit the grand slam late.
01:48 So, yeah, we'll see.
01:49 You know, I mean, these are lineups
01:51 that, you know, if you're the Rangers
01:52 and you're throwing Max Scherzer,
01:54 the leash is probably pretty short, right?
01:56 You don't want to let him lose control
02:00 kind of like he did in his previous start,
02:01 and every time Jordan Alvarez comes up,
02:04 you're probably pitching him very carefully,
02:06 and if there's anyone on base, you're walking him,
02:08 and, you know, let's be honest.
02:09 If he comes up in this game with the bases loaded scenario,
02:14 I'm walking him. I'm putting in the run.
02:16 I don't care unless it's the go-ahead run
02:18 in the ninth inning.
02:19 Other than that, I think I'm probably walking him
02:21 to try to limit the damage.
02:22 You know, the Astros have guys in Alvarez
02:24 and, you know, and even Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve
02:27 who have a history of coming up with big hits
02:31 and big moments in the postseason.
02:32 You know, there's a reason that they consistently get
02:34 to the ALCS and they're contenders to win these things.
02:37 So, yeah, we'll see.
02:39 You know, I mean, the Astros certainly have
02:42 the postseason history, the experience,
02:44 but, you know, the Rangers coming in the way they did
02:47 and winning game six in Houston to extend it to a game seven,
02:50 You certainly can't count them out at this moment.
