00:17 he's already making his name in the sports of jet skiing,

00:20 the grade 12 student, Anton Nicolás Ignacio.

00:23 He's the champion in the 42nd International Jet Sports Boating Association,

00:28 World Finals in Lake Havasu, Sarazon, USA.

00:31 400 riders from different countries competed.

00:36 Any place will do.

00:40 But I'm happy I was able to get the number one.

00:43 Anton is the first in the Novice Rennabout 1100 Stock

00:47 and has a perfect score of 180 points.

00:50 He was the youngest to win the International Watercraft Racing Event.

00:55 His parents were a big part of his inspiration.

00:59 I just cried in front of the crowd.

01:02 Because what I tell everyone,

01:06 I used to race also in the World Finals.

01:10 When I saw my son win, it was so good to feel it.

01:14 We just wanted him to finish clean,

01:17 so he'll get the first place.

01:20 I was already crying as he finished across the checkered flag.

01:25 So it was a great feeling.

01:28 Anton's victory is his ally in the country

01:32 and his teammates in the Philippine Jet Ski Team.
