00:00 Hello, I'm Catherine Goble and I'm the Marketing and Events Coordinator at Hullbid.
00:08 This is the Halloween Steampunk Festival, it's our second year of doing this.
00:12 It's been organised by Hullbid in conjunction with the Ministry of Steampunk.
00:16 We have various different activities.
00:18 Behind me at the moment we've got some tea duelling, which is where they dunk a biscuit
00:22 into a cup of tea and whoever's drops first is the loser.
00:26 We've also got a market going on in the Prince's Quay event space, we've got various talks
00:31 and exhibits.
00:32 Later on this afternoon we've got a grand parade through the city centre, so hopefully
00:36 all the businesses will see all these wonderful costumes that people have got on and people
00:40 will be lining the streets looking at that too.
00:52 Yesterday's parade we had about 60 people taking part, we hope that there will be more
00:56 today as well.
00:57 It's a really good way of basically strutting their stuff and showing off these magnificent
01:02 costumes that they've spent months making.
