Ateneo clinches first back-to-back win  The defending champs Ateneo Blue Eagles finally notched their first back-to-back wins courtesy of a 99-89 overtime victory over the UP Fighting Maroons in the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, October 22.  Blue Eagles head coach Tab Baldwin said that their win doesn't mean anything if they can't follow it up with another one, or finally sustain their winning ways after a rather up-and-down first round campaign.  Ateneo finished the first round in third place with a 4-3 slate while UP stayed atop the team standings with a 6-1 slate. 00:45 We got some stops when we needed to get stops.

00:48 We got some rebounds when we needed to get rebounds.

00:51 And we did enough offensively, sharing the ball,

00:54 and finding the right guys at the right time.

01:02 You know, to win big games, you've got to do things that are sort of

01:08 You know, guys have to step up and make plays.

01:11 I think today we made a couple more than they did.

01:20 at four and three, this game really means nothing if we don't back it up.
