Bagans buys the house where the alleged Ammons hauntings occurred. An organization of sleuths is being supervised by Bagans while they look into the house. The crew begins to notice odd things and becomes concerned about what they might be getting into.

When Latoya Ammons claimed to have been possessed by a demon inside a "Demon House" in Gary, Indiana, Zak Bagans, the host and executive producer of "Ghost Adventures" on the Travel Channel, was interested.

Ammons asserted that she and her three young children were possessed by spirits while residing in the rental home between 2011 and 2012. An investigation by the Gary Police Department and the Indiana Department of Child Services led to the conversion of even the most ardent skeptics to believers.

As the host and executive producer of the Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" series, Bagans also works as an author, actor, and paranormal investigator. He bought and later demolished the "Demon House" on Carolina Street in Gary, Indiana, in 2014 after reading an IndyStar article about Ammons' allegations of demon possession there.
